Louise has made us feel very welcome, there were some lovely touches such as the christmas tree in the lounge and having xmas ornaments around the villa. It was a very enjoyable time had by all.

“Stunning spacious luxury villa in a beautiful location!”
The Chilbury Mortimer was everything and more than what we expected. It has very spacious well appointed rooms with a very modern yet naturally rustic decor which was simply beautiful! The infinity pool was well maintained and the villa was stocked with all the essential items such as beach towels, linen, cutlery, laundry facilities and even tea and coffee etc! The location is within easy reach of the local amenities, the beach is close and the scenery is beautiful especially the subset from the upstairs balcony which offers panoramic views including the stunning back dro p of the mountains which looks gorgeous at night! We had a lively time filled with excitement, adventure and romantic relaxation! The Chilbury Mortimer is highly recommended and the owners are so friendly and always on hand to help if needed!

Enjoyed a fantastic week Chilbury Mortimer with my family at the end of October 2012. The villa was well equipped and so lovely we could have spent the entire time there and seen nothing of Cyprus! My children especially enjoyed the pool, along with the chance to relax in the hammock under the olive tree.
Louise (the owner) made us feel incredibly welcome and I have to say exceeded our expectations at every step whether it be recommending great places to eat nearby or getting us a great deal on a hire car for the week. But Louise wasnt the only one ensuring we felt welcome - Biscuit (Louises cat) is obviously smart enough to appreciate Chilbury and seemed quite content to be fussed over by the children each day as he sunned himself next to the pool.
Many thanks to Louise (and Biscuit) for making our week so enjoyable.

The villa was really clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and close to the beach and restaurants. We hired a car as we hadnt been to Cyprus before and wanted to see as much as possible. We really wished we could have spent longer on the island as it is so beautiful. It was lovely to finally meet Louise who kindly helped us find cheaper flights! Thank you so much for everything we enjoyed every minute of our vacation!

Our only issue was that once we were in the property we could not get hold of the owner at all. We had no lights (no bulbs in the fittings), problems with the front door and we could not get hold of anyone to help us. Emailed, text and left answerphone message and nothing.

WOW, a wonderful villa, highly recommend it to those of you wanting a home from home holiday. The villa is very clean and well presented, ceiling fans in bedrooms, and lounge area, or air con, easy to use washing machine and tumble drier, and also a friendly cat!! There is also a good supply of books and magazines to get through while lounging by the pool, and Nilesat and dvds for indoors. Louise is very friendly and approachable, if we had experienced any problems, nothing would have been too much trouble. Weve stayed in other villas in the Coral Bay area but this one was our favourite. We reluctanly left the villa yesterday, temperatures in high 80s, and blue skies, and hope to return next year.

Have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Chilbury Mortimer.
Have to say first off that Louise was extremely helpful and very prompt with her replies.
Our first impression of Chilbury was wow and it kept up that reaction for us from start to finish
The property is extremely well equipped with virtually everything you could think of, including screwdrivers etc (not that we needed them)
Chilbury is located 2.1km (1.3 miles) from the main strip at Coral Bay, we measured it with our hire car (sad but true).
It is quite an easy walk which takes approx 35 minutes but wouldnt recommend heels if you do.
At this distance a hire car isnt essential but Id recommend it for the supermarket - we found the nearest fairly pricey with the best at Peyia being 3.5km away. Even though the supermarket at Peyia has a sister store at Coral Bay we found the one at Peyia friendlier and more personal, even if parking can be entertaining.
Everything about Chilbury made us want to stay forever and can definately say we cant wait to return at our very earliest oppurtunity.

This was our second time at Chilbury Mortimer staying for 2 weeks. We had a lovely relaxing holiday - absolutely love Coral Bay - there is everything you need not too far away - having a car is great as whilst there are nearby amenities it is just so hot you dont want to walk - bus service is also fantastic when you are out in the evening and want a few drinks - there are so reliable and cheap.
The villa is great - we didnt meet Henry and Louise last year so it was lovely to meet them this year and they could not be more helpful - I would happily live at this villa.

I stayed at Chilbury Mortimer with my husband, his 14 year old son & my baby daughter of 5 ½ months.
On arrival, the owner – Louise, greeted us with a welcome pack including specific baby milk & nappies I had enquired about before leaving UK, plus other goodies to make us welcome. This was a very nice touch & extremely thoughtful.
The villa was immaculate and the photos on villarentals are representative of what we saw.
Chilbury Mortimer is a perfect fully equipped villa. We stayed in for barbeque in the outdoor living area on a number of evenings. Louise has obviously thought of everything you could possibly need! The kitchen has more accessories than my home kitchen!
All rooms are of a generous size including the bedrooms. The air-conditioning in the villa proved very useful as our visit was in August. It kept us all nice & cool including my 5 ½ month baby.
The pool is beautiful & was kept clean throughout our visit.
Jill came in to clean on the final day. She was extremely polite & we did not feel like we were being turfed out at any point. In fact she went out of her way to work around us. Thanks Jill.
If you are looking for a luxury living accommodation, close to many lovely restaurants & amenities but at the same time retaining peace & quiet whilst in the Villa, this is for you.
May I also point out, we are seasoned travellers, who usually stay in 4.5-5 star hotel accommodation around the world. I hope this offers you a perspective on our review of Chilbury Mortimer.

Overall we really enjoiyed our stay at Chilbury Mortimer. We have been to Cyprus several times and this villa and location was the best we have found. The owners were very friendly and gave us some useful pointsers regarding restaurants and supermarkets in the area.

A lovely modern and spacious property, well maintained and cared for by the friendly and helpful owner. Good outdoor space and a lovely pool. Use of the car was a real benefit although the villa is in easy walking distance to a number of bars, restaurants and supermarket on a flat road with pavements. Coral Bay Beach with watersports and good facilities is also within walking distance.
Owner reply:
Hi Liz,
Thank you so much for your review and your kind words. I am so pleased that you had such a wonderful holiday in Cyprus ... It was a pleasure to welcome you and your family to Chilbury Mortimer!
Take care and hope to see you again soon :)
Keep in touch
Louise

A lovely property and very helpful and friendly owners. Any small thing that was lacking was speedily provided.
We had a very good family holiday in relaxing surroundings.

Chilbury Mortimer is a lovely property in an idyllic setting, we had a lovely relaxing holiday there. Its location is great in that you can walk to the beach and some bars/restaurants whilst being in a quiet setting.
The villa is well equipped with everything you need for your stay, and Louise and Henry cant do enough for you to make your holiday special.
Theres only a couple of improvements I can suggest, shower curtains in all bathrooms as they get very wet when showering! Checking that everything is working once property is vacated, we had to ask for some light bulbs for the stairs...... but as I say these are very minor.
We had a lovely break and would recommend the villa.

The villa itself is absolutely perfect, finished to a high standard and well equipped, plenty of glasses and general kitchenware.
The outside area is also excellent - lots of space.
The terrace outside the master bedrooms is a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening as is the area outside the living room.
Unfortunately we had a few problems with the pool and as it was a bank holiday in Cyprus this took longer to get sorted than it would ordinarily. We were kept informed at all times on the progress of repair and were able to use the pool throughout - this caused mild inconvencience but has in no way put us off wishing to return to Chilbury Mortimer next year and we were pleased with the way the matter was dealt with both whilst in Cyprus and subesequently on our return to England.
The car is a great bonus - the local bus service is excellent and we used it often- but for trips to the supermarket (City Supermarket is great), beach and Waterpark having a car was great.
You can walk into Coral Bay but would recommend getting the bus as they are reliable and at only one euro well worth it!
In short - this was the best holiday we have had - it was our fourth time in Cyprus and all of us enjoyed it and wish we were still there!

The villa itself was exactly as we expected from the website photos and narrative. The pool was a good size though we could have done with an outside shower to help prevent discolouration from sun tan lotion pollution. There is a plot available for development next to the villa but there were no signs of any development activity in the area so it may be some time before this is built on. The villa is a fair way from the beach but is great for lounging around in the comfort of your own surroundings. We found the car a great benefit as most of the amenities are a fair walk away. The car itself could have done with a clean. The service provided by the management team was also excellent responding to the couple of minor requests we had for additional pillows and batteries very quickly. All in all this was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing two week break.

When we arrived at Chilbury Mortimer we were delighted to find that it matched up to the description and photos placed in the advert.
Coral Bay is a lovely resort and we certainly did a lot of chilling at the villa. The outside was particularly well thought out and we spend many a night gazing up at the star studded sky enjoying the peace and tranquility. The infinity pool added to the sense of luxury.
Any problems we had were quickly sorted out by the owners themselves and I would love to spend another holiday at Chilbury Mortimer!

We had a great holiday at Chilbury Mortimer, the villa is very well equipped and has everything you need. Everything was as described in the website details, lovely decor and modern kitchen and bathrooms. The pool was also a good size and our children loved the inflatable whale provided for use in the pool. There is also plenty of outdoor garden furniture.
The car hire included with this villa was hassle free as there was no paperwork to fill in etc. Louise was very helpful in any questions we had regarding the villa prior to arrival and responded to emails promptly.
We would recommend this villa, ideally placed for Coral Bay area but also not far from Paphos Harbour and surrounding areas.
