The Cochrane Family (October 2011)
Just back from Gocek where we had a great week in October. Weather was just right (about 23 degrees and mainly sunny), villa was lovely and town\marina and beaches all spot on! The villa is a real home away from home. All mod cons, including dvd selec tion and Wii games for the kids. Pool chilly at this time of year, but we still used it every day for a dip. Accommodation very tidy and comfortable, outdoor terrace and gardens were lovely. A short walk to the town, through the saturday market, and what a great little town. Couldnt have asked for more in terms of restaurant choice, small bars and a range of interesting shops. We took a boat out to the islands, a great way to spend a lazy day or 2 and also spent a couple of days on the marinas private beach which was really well maintained with lovely jettys to swim from and crystal clear waters (the bar and restaurant were well worth stopping at for refreshments too!). We had a lovely family holiday and would recommend to anyone the villa and the town

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday here in Ocober 2011.
The villa is well-appointed and just a short walk from the picturesque waterfront of Gocek with its wide selec tion of restaurants.
The ancient ruins of Cadianda, Tlos and Zanthos are within driving distance.
Trips to Dalayan, Fethiye and Salikent Gorge are also worthwhile.

Our family spent a fantastic 10 nights at Villa Lockwood in September 2011. 5 adults plus 1 nine month old we were over due a rest. Villa Lockwood proved to be the perfect retreat where we could enjoy the fabulous villa, pool and gardens. A shaded patio sheltered our little lad whilst we chilled with wine or beer and a game of scrabble. In the evenings a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Marina discovered dozens of excellent restaurants and bars where the 5 adults could enjoy a great value meal whilst the little super star slept soundly in his pram. We highly recommend West, Blue, Lotus and Kebab Hospital (despite the name!). Gocek proved to be a choice location. Only 15 minutes from the airport and a short journey to Oludeniz, Challich and Fetyiye for a variety of day trips. You may have guessed we had a lovely holiday, and we cannot wait to get back to Villa Lockwood, especially to spend our days around the pool, in the shade sipping cocktails and enjoying the pool.

We had a lovely time at the Gocek Palms Villa. We found the villa very well equipped and the position was great. We made good use of the Sunday market and made some super meals plus regular trips to the harbour restaurants in the evening.
Thank you for the boat trip recommendation - we went twice on the Akdeniz and had a great time.
So thank you again for you tips and assistance. We had a really wonderful break.

Having returned from Gocek Palms Villa in August this year the first thing we talked about is booking to go back next year! We were after a peaceful, relaxing holiday and the villa and Gocek definitely hit the spot. The villa is very well equipped and really feels like a home rather than a rental villa (we have stayed in a few!). The pool is stunning and much needed in the August heat and the garden was an added bonus for the children. The area is really peaceful and the villa is in really private spot but only 5 minutes walk to Gocek town. The town and harbour are beautiful, lots of shops to wander round and a great choice for eating out in the evening, Turkish food is excellent and very reasonable. We bbqd at the villa a few times too as local amenities, supermarket, butcher etc are excellent. Although it is quite a small town we didnt venture out of Gocek, the Sunday market was fun and there are so many boat trips to choose from at the harbour. I would highly recommend the villa and the area, we will definitely be returning next year as we fell in love with the place!

We stayed in this lovely villa for two weeks in August. We couldnt have asked for more. It has a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds, the shaded terrace was great for eating breakfast or lunch and the lovely leather seating was great for reading your book or a evening drink.
The bedrooms have plenty of storage and mirrors which is nice. The villa is 5 minutes walk into town where there are lots of lovely restaurants, we could have eaten in a different one every night. Gocek is a lovely resort and Gocek Palms Villa is a gorgeous place to stay. I am sure will be back. Quinney Family

We went as a party of 8 on a last minute booking! WOW, We were not dissapointed! This villa had more than enough space to accomodate all of us. It was exceptionally clean, Modern, With all you need for a great family holiday. The pool is kept crystal clear and maintained on a daily basis. Plenty of garden space all around the villa too. The local town is around 10 minutes walk from the villa where you will find supermarkets, lots of restaurants and shops. All in all a fab villa and hope to return soon.

A lovely corner of Gocek – very quiet, but still within easy walking of the town. You have a lovely spot here and we really enjoyed our stay in your house. The pool is just lovely to fall into when the weather is steamy. The wonderful large terrace gives lots of space to sit out in the shade on a beanbag. Thanks for letting us stay in your house.

A very comfotable villa in a convenient location within easy walking distance of the marina, shops and restaurants. The property is very well equipped with good quality fittings. Relatively small pool, but very well maintained and always crystal clear. Quiet location opposite woodland with relatively large garden. Well managed property and was very clean upon arrival.

Gocek is an excellent location if you want to relax away from the usual commercialised beach resorts and Villa Lockwood is an ideal base for a holiday. It is in a nice quiet location, but only five minutes walk from the marina, shops and restaurants.
The villa is extremely well equipped with the owners providing everything that you could possibly need. The accommodation was sufficiently spacious for the four of us, with plenty of room for more. In Turkey in August, both the air conditioning and the pool provided a very welcome relief from the heat.
Although the villa has everything you need to cater for yourselves, as this was our holiday, we decided to let the restaurants do all the cooking for our evening meals. Gocek has an excellent choice of restaurants where you are guaranteed good quality food and great friendly service. Our particular favourites were Barbaros and Nur.
We will definitely use Villa Lockwood again in the future.

Lovely villa in pretty garden with well maintained pool. Easy walk to the centre of Gocek where there are lots of good, upmarket restaurants to choose from. A great base for a quiet, relaxing holiday with the option of activities, such as boat trips, should you so choose.
Definitely a destination that we would recommend !

We had a very relaxed time at Villa Lockwood, it's well appointed and a good size for either couples or families. Particularly liked the covered patio area, as it is a good space that is a very pleasant retreat when the sun (or the rain !) gets a bit much, whilst still allowing you out in the fresh air. Great for al fresco dining too.The villa is far enought from the town to give a degree of privacy, but still a pleasant and fairly short walk in.
Gocek itself is perfect if you want somewhere with a reasonable selec tion of restaurants, bars and shops, but aren't too bothered about a wild selec tion of nightlife or too much commercialism. The lack of a beach helps to keep it pretty quiet, but it really isn't too far to go to find one if that's what you want. There are plenty of opportunities for excursions roundabout, and Gocek itself is well sited in the corner of a very scenic bay, with plenty of boat excursions available.
We had a very relaxed time !
