For rent in Calis Beach near Fethiye fully air-conditioned, self-catering, linked townhouse villa, set over 3 floors and located on an attractive complex with panoramic sea and mountain views and only a few walking minutes distance from the sun drenched Calis Beach and its boulevard with its numerous water front amenities and its breathtaking sunsets.

Our holiday home is located on a quiet side of the residence, is furnished to a high standard and is built on three levels. The ground floor hosts an open plan, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, dining area and comfortable lounge that leads out to a delightful patio with terrace furniture and a built-in bbq. From the patio you step right onto the north facing garden with lots of sun. Private sun loungers with cushions are available for your use. The ground floor has its own separate WC. The villa has satellite/cable television with an inbuilt DVD player which enables you to play CDs and DVDs. There is a small DVD-collection available for your use. Please feel free to bring your own CDs and DVDs.
On the 1st level is the master bedroom with double bed, the 2nd room is twin bedded and both rooms have en-suite facilities and a balcony. The top floor has a bedroom with extra long twin beds, en-suite and 2 roof terraces.

All balconies/roof terraces have either sea views or mountain views or both. All beds are box springs. All doors and windows have fitted mosquito nets. Bed and bath linens and quilts are provided for your use. A washing machine for small washes up to 2 kg - which please do not overload - is placed on the top floor.
Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool during summer time and the air-conditioning includes a warming system for the colder days. Our holiday home can accommodate maximum 6 persons.

The residence has a luxury communal pool (195 m2) with attractive bar, shared communal landscaped gardens and a childrens pool (20 m2) and two smaller communal corner pools. The pools are open from early May until the end of October.


THE AREA
In the summer months the average temperature in Calis is around 35-40º Celcius (or even more). However, the on shore breeze that blows continuously from the sea, decreases the temperature and makes you feel comfortable. You can have the joy of sunbathing from early morning till late afternoon. The beaches are a combination of sand and pebbles and you have the possibilty to hire sunbeds. The magnificent and spectacular Calis sunsets will be remembered. Calis boulevard has got many restaurants, bars and gift shops.

To get the most of your holiday please do consider to travel around in this beautiful and diverse area.

The villa is close to a small bus service which brings you to the delightful market town of Fethiye, the turquoise heaven, which is in the heart of Lycia, a county in the Aegean that is awaiting the lovers of nature with its pristine bays, natural beauty, sandy and pebble beaches and its islets. It has a typical Aegean climate, historical and archaeological places of interest and a unique panorama, the snowy scenery of the Taurus mountains rising to the sky from the pine forests on a warm winter day is not to be missed. Fethiye has got a beautiful multi-coloured sea. To fully appreciate the bays and islands around Fethiye the private tours and blue tours provide an opportunity to explore all this. Fethiye, where your visit to either the old port with "Paspatur" bazaar, the Turkish bath with massage, the Fethiye market or Fethiye harbour could make a start can also be reached by water taxi from Calis centre which is a very relaxing experience.

In Fethiye, with its symbol the rock tombs, amongst which the tomb from King Amintas which overlooks Fethiye-bay, you can jump on another minibus (dolmus) leaving from the Otogar to other destinations. It is a good location to explore the ancient Lycian cities, Cadianda, Tlos hidden valley, Pinara, Letoon, Xanthos, Patara, Kekova etc. Because of this it has a very important historical past.

Kaya Koy: a historical ghost town with over a thousand houses which are completely empty and in complete silence is worth a visit. Some of the houses have been or will be restored. You have magnificent views over the valley and the bay from here when going to the top. In the environs of Kaya Koy you can find restaurants which offer you in the evening a Turkish barbeque together with Turkish folk dancing and of course the belly dancing.

Oludeniz: the pearl of the Aegean coast, famous for its lovely Belcekiz beach, its warm and calm seas and the dance of the green, blue and violet colours in and around it. Rising above the sky immediately behind it, the 1975 meters high Babadag mountain, which is the centre for paragliding enthusiasts. The way up by jeep is as adventurous as gliding down.

Gocek: which has the appearance of a delightful fishing village has assumed the countenance of a modern yacht harbour in parallel with its international development. Active visitors can join in Gocek (and Fethiye of course) a daily tour that covers the 12 islands with the numerous virgin and pristine bays and breathtaking scenery. Make sure you bring your camera.

Dalyan: a visit to the Sultaniye mud baths and thermal springs and a relaxing boat trip on the river, from where you can admire the Lycian Kaunos tombs, is a wonderful day out. It is the place for brooding for the caretta caretta turtles.

Saklikent canyon: located between Fethiye and Kas, is a natural beauty that was formed by the rushing waters of the melting snows from the Taurus Mountains. It is 18 km long and is about 300 meters high at its highest point. Apart from the walks you take in cool waters on hot summer days, it is impossible however to go to the end of the canyon due to the natural conditions. There is also trekking and mountain climbing for those interested. However make sure you bring comfortable footwear, a rucksack and of course your camera.

* A travel insurance including a private health insurance is recommended covering all members in your party.
* For hygienic and for safety reasons please always wear your bath slippers around pool areas.
* Please always enter the house with appropriate footwear as all floors are either marbled or tiled and might be slippery when being wet.
* This is a non smoking property.

If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
