by chance the property turned out to be very close to the villa of another family member at Mougins so was very convenient. Getting to/from the auto route was quick and simple which made Nice airport very accessible. The bus service to Cannes was very convenient at the entrance to the gated complex but we also found the taxis very convenient and not too expensive when travelling as a group. The villa itself had all we needed however we did not make use of the pool - just too far to be convenient when the weather was not too warm. We did find the mosquitoes a nuisance and had to reinforce the number of electrical repellants in the house.

We spent a splendid two weeks in this villa this summer. Everything was nice and clean. In the first week we had the pool almost to ourselves, in the second week it got a little bit crowded as it was also a French holiday weekend and lots of owners within their domain had guests and enjoyed the great weather at the pool. Nevertheless, if one went early in the morning or later in the evening there was sufficient space to swim.
The villa is well equipped in terms of technical equipment, even though we did find the many instructions to the different systems (TV, stereo, DVD, ...) a little daunting.
The location of the domain at the edge of town allowed us to quickly leave town and explore the surroundings. The new shopping centre which opened close by allows easy shopping of fresh produce which is great.

We had a fabulous stay at the property, would recommend to anyone.
A lovely location nice pool area very quiet and well kept, house had everything you could imagine and more. Plenty to keep all the family occupied. Great outdoor space and bbq area.
Within easy access of all locations with a car and bus stop just outside takes you into cannes.
Comfortable and felt very much at home, would love to stay again.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub! Die Anlage und das Haus sind wirklich sehr schön. Man findet alles genau so vor, wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Wir haben das Haus mit Freunden und Kindern im Alter von 1-8 Jahren bewohnt und alle haben sich rundherum wohl gefühlt. Auch für unsere Kleinste war das abgeschlossene Grundstück ideal. Am Pool war es zu keiner Zeit überfüllt, wir waren sogar häufig alleine dort (trotz Ferienzeit).
Zum Strand braucht man mit dem Auto etwa 10 Minuten. Bäckerei mit grandiosen Croissants die Straße runter, ebenfalls ein sehr gut sortierter, großer Supermarkt (+Apotheke). Ein Auto sollte man auf jeden Fall vor Ort haben, vor allem um die wunderschöne Cote d`Azur zu erkunden. Es ist nur ein Katzensprung bis nach Nizza. Auch Saint Tropez und Monaco sind mit dem Auto super zu erreichen. Allerdings sollte man in der Hauptferienzeit den Stau bedenken. Wir haben nach Saint Tropez 2,5 Stunden benötigt, aber danach wird man mit einer sehr schönen Stadt belohnt.
Ian und Nicolina sind tolle Vermieter, die sich aus der Ferne um alles kümmern und versuchen das Unmöglich möglich zu machen. Vielen Dank nochmal! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Property was excellent. We had so fantastic week. Location were also perfect - it was so easy to go to Italy, Monaco, Nice and in the central of Cannes.
One thing we couldnt do:
We couldnt get any voices out of that aux machine. But it didnt bother, we had so much other action during our week. Maybe there should be "instructions for dummies"... :)

We spent a quite perfect holiday at Villa ad Alta. The property is located in a really good position for going to the beach ( just few minutes by car, in June no problems at all for parking ) or to have a walk on the famous Cannes Croisette. It is very comfortable, and suitable for kids too : the swimming pool is very big and often completly at your disposal, the domain very quite and we saw no dangers at all . Recommended for a really relaxing holiday .

Ho trascorso una settimana di vacanza presso la villa con la mia famiglia e alcuni amici in Agosto 2010. Si trova in posizione molto tranquilla e strategica in quanto tutto è facilmente raggiungibile. Spiaggia e centro città di Cannes a pochi minuti di auto, ma consiglio vivamente di prendere lautobus che ha la fermata proprio davanti alla proprietà e il costo di una corsa è di 1 euro a persona.La casa è molto pulita e accessoriata di ogni confort (aria condizionata, lavastoviglie,lavatrice, asciugatrice, play station, connessione a internet e chiamate verso lItalia ai numeri di telefono fisso gratuiti),inoltre è dotata di un bellissimo giardino con una comodissima cucina esterna che da noi è stata utilizzata spesso. Lingresso alla villa è custodito da un guardiano che è sempre presente e cè anche una piscina in condivisione con il residence, ma spesso utilizzata solo da noi e pochi altri. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e sempre molto disponibili, la consiglio sicuramente a chi vuole trascorrere una bella vacanza. Un grazie a Nicolina, a Ian e a Moira che ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo.

Villa ad Alta is a very nice and well equipped house. Nice small garden with a perfect outdoor kitchen. Everything functions well.

We had an absolutely fabulous time in this villa. Situated 10 mins from Cannes this was a perfect location. Close enough from the city to be peaceful and calm but near enough to pop in to visit the shops and restaurants or simply soak up the glamour! We didnt have a car but the bus stop is directly outside the villa complex and runs regularly. Bocca nearby is perfect for big supermarket shop.
The villa itself is fantastic. It had everything you could want and the owner has gone to great pains to provide everything that you could possibly need for your stay - computer, internet and a huge AV system with UK Sky TV to name a few! There is also a 'Summer kitchen' which is perfect for BBQs. Each bedroom was ensuite which was really great. On our arrival we were met by a very friendly French lady who spoke great English and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this to anyone - families or a group.
N.B Having done a lot of research on villas in Cannes this also great value for money!

La villa è molto tranquilla in unarea privata con accesso sorvegliato. Certamente ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
La maggior parte delle foto pubblicate sono un pò falsate dallobbiettivo troppo grandangolare stessa cosa per il video su youtube.
In piscina non sono ammessi lettini o sdraio quindi va bene per fare un tuffo ma certo non per rilassarsi sul cemento.
La casa ha tutto e di più e perfettamente funzionante.
Il campo da bocce è una buona idea ma è troppo corto per essere davvero utilizzabile.Sullo chalet con superdoccia non posso dire nulla perchè era chiuso e, a sorpresa, non avevamo la possibilità di accedere.
Nel complesso comunque molto confortevole, super silenziosa e ben curata. La consiglierei ad amici.

I just wanted to write you a note to say thank you for a great stay in villa ad atla - we had a fantastic time and the villa was beautiful. In the end there were just 4 of us but we had a great time.
