Our eight night stay at this spacious property was an event we shall remember for a long time. This property accommodated a large joint family consisting of 14 people with no problems, and still had spare room for more. Mark is simply an outstanding host who met us on arrival, and made us feel at home immediately. Property is of high standard, and unlike so many other places we have previously stayed in Goa, everything worked well in all the rooms. Well impressed with the level of cleanness of the whole house. Well equipped kitchen which I think is a must for a large family visiting. Ramesh with a permanent smile on his face, looked after us well, and made us feel at home. i recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting Goa. My family will definitely use this property again for our next visit to Goa hopefully next year. Mark, Ramesh thank you very much.....

My wife and I stayed at Bluewaters for five months in 2009 and had the best time ever.
The large house is situated in the quiet village of Saligao, away from the touristy centre of Calangute but only a short drive from all the action. The house itself is modern and beautifully decorated but has a homely feel to it. The English owners are awesome - really helpful and genuine people. The two staff are also very friendly and they keep the place ship-shape.
We loved swimming in the well maintained swimming pool out the back and relaxing beside it afterwards. There is a spacious kitchen for self-catering or, as mentioned above, you are only a short drive from a wide selec tion of restaurants. The rooms are individualised and very comfortable.
One of the best thing about Bluewaters is that you don't feel like you are staying in a hotel, although you have all the facilities of one. The village location, the size of the house, the comfortable rooms and the amiable staff all contribute to this.
We enjoy walking and there are lots of fascinating areas to explore on foot, both around the village itself and in the nearby countryside. The villagers are all extremely friendly and most speak quite good English too.
We rented a scooter as well, which enabled us to venture further afield, including all the beaches and inland to the town of Mapusa, with its great Friday market, and some of the amazing villages with their stunning old Portuguese villas.
Although the house is 3km from the beach, it only takes 5ᆞ minutes to get there by scooter, and you don't feel tied to the beach, as you do at some places. The best parts of Goa, in our opinion, are those away from the beach.
All in all, we had a fantastic time at Bluewaters and would recommend it

This place had everything that we wanted and more. The bungalow looks exactly the same as its pictures on the site and in fact better. It’s a beautiful and well maintained property in a small and peaceful Goan village. The entire bungalow was with us: four bedrooms (One on ground floor and three on first), a kitchen with all the facilities, a dining hall and a big hall on first floor, on our request they provided us mattresses and the kids had a gala time. The first floor has a small but beautiful sit out area the rooms are simple and have all the basic facilities with individual ACs, double beds, closets and are well maintained.
The place has a well maintained small fun pool in the backyard and we all had a great time in the pool.
With small kids, the convenience of having your own kitchen, private pool and the whole place to yourself is priceless.
Mark is a great host and he has Maria and Sudhakar to take care of the guests. Very helpful and amazing people…
Since it is in a residential locality and away from crowded beaches / markets one is expected to respect neighbors’ privacy and not play loud music after 10pm or early in the morning and be careful about some basic courtesies.
The taxi is easily available and Calangute/ Baga/ Anjuna are not more than 15 minutes away. A dro p to Baga for 13 people was only Rs. 300.
If you are a large family/ group and looking for a place within 15 minutes from the best of the beaches and yet far from the crowd, this is the place for you.
A home away from home and in heart of Goa.
I couldn’t have asked for a better place for this family holiday. My 6 years old daughter was terribly upset and cried when we left the place. That should sum it up.
