Our second visit was just as good as the first, it felt really familiar and comfortable. Lovely gardens, peaceful atmosphere, but really close to every amenity. Paul and Kai were really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Linen and towel changes made us feel pampered, plus comfortable bed. Down points: bathroom and kitchen were immaculately cleaned, but both looked like they need a revamp and TLC. Perhaps remove barrier of cupboard and extend kitchen into living area? Shower screen instead of curtain? Overall, a great place to stay.

Owner reply:
Thank you for your review, we are delighted you felt so at home and comfortable.
The points you have raised regarding the bathroom and kitchen are on our agenda for June of this year (2013). The bathroom will be completely refurbished with a full size shower with sliding doors and whiteware. The kitchen well be completely replaced and as you say the divider will be removed to make room for a fridge freezer. We will include a washing machine too. New furniture will be replace the existing furniture in the living room, and we shall be replacing the wardrobe in the bedroom and adding a chest of drawers. Within the next two weeks, Movistar willing, broadband will be installed. We are sure that next time you stay with us you will be impressed.

Having spent many happy holidays on Gran Canaria (we are in our mid 60s) we were delighted to find this gem of an apartment in Playa del Ingles. Beautifully furnished ,extremely comfortable and well maintained in a wonderful position close to all the resort has to offer! The large balcony is a delight! Only minutes from shops and restaurants with the beach just over the road and down the steps! Keeps us fit! Thanks to Kai & Paul for helping to make this a memorable holiday! We are already looking forward to a return trip!

The apartment was light, well located, well equipped and had a large balcony whith nice sea-view. The bed was very comfortable (much better than other beds we tried during during our erliar visits on GC). Alltogether we had a fantastic fortnight stay in the apartment and Playa del Ingles. We hope to be back soon and hopefully we can rent this apartment for a week or two. Perhaps there will be some sunloungers on the balcony then ???!!!

This is my second time to stay at this apartment I was looked after so well by Kai and Paul the first time that I decided to return again and once again we were treated like old friends. The apartment is spotless throughout and the bed linen is so clean and fresh and laundered to such a high standard. but the best thing was getting to know Paul, who has a heart of gold I look forward to returning to apartment for there hospitality and friendship thank you so much. The only thing the apartment is lacking in is wifi connection even so it would not put me off coming back also location is fantastic.

The accommodation is outside the main area of Playa del Ingles yet is within easy walking distance giving you an ideal location for seclusion and action whatever your wish. Accommodation ticks all the boxes, has a large balcony with sea view, is clean and homely and because all apartments are 1 bedroom there are not a lot of children! The guys who looked after the apartment, Paul and Kai, were great and could not do enough to help. No wifi in apartment however strong signal at reception. Bus station literally 2 minutes away which was great and yet you never hardly hear the buses. Overall a great time was had and will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

We stayed at the apartment for one week. Kai met us on arrival and showed us to the apartment. He gave us a few pointers, which were very helpful!! Kai and Paul left us alone to do our own thing but were there if we needed anything throughout the stay. We found them great. The apartment was beautiful. We could not fault it. It was clean and very well kept. The gardens and the pool were lovely - once again very clean and well kept. The location of the apartment was fantastic. It was within walking distance of everything, yet there was no noise to be heard, except for passing traffic at night time, which never interfered with us or our sleep. We would highly recommend this apartment for a relaxing escape away. We would also like to add that Kevin and Nicki were very helpful, giving us some great advice on Gran Canaria.

On arrival I was met by Kai who showed me around the apartment it is exactly as it is on the website. My big thing when choosing an apartment is natural light, seaviews, and has to be spotlessly clean this apartment has all three the living room is so cosy where if you fancy a night in you can watch a dvd or listen to a cd.The bedroom is perfect as there is mirrored wardrobes making the bedroom so bright the big bed is so comfy it was like sleeping on a cloud with a feather duvet and pillows with crisp cotton linen a rare find in Spain even even the best hotels .The balcony is a good size with lovely views of the sea, the gardens below are so well cared for with unusual trees and plants the pool area is so peaceful. The surrounding area has everything you need on your doorstep good resturants, lovely beach, and a brilliant bus service to take you anywhere on the island. My holiday was made so special by Kai and Paul who took the time to decorate the apartment with balloons and banners for my birthday thanks again its the personal touch you get when booking this apartment that makes it special cannot recommend it enough.

This apartment was nice and clean with a large comfortable bed, good quality bedding and towels which were changed at regular intervals by the very friendly kai and paul .We spent a lot of time on the sunny balcony, with a sea view and loungers it was very relaxing. We hope to book again for next year and perhaps have a longer stay !

We arrived at the apartment late at night and were delighted to find milk, water and T bags waiting for us. The apartment is lovely it was wonderful to sleep in a big comfortable bed with a duvet. The kichen has everything you need and more. The balcony is massive and overlooks the beautifully clean pool and well kept gardens. Kai is very friendly and helpful. We really loved this apartment and would highly recommend it. Hopefully we will be back next year and I will leave my paperbacks at home someone reads exactly the same ones as me and I took all mine home unread.

The apartment was well equipted for two people. well located and with a nice view. our only disappointment was that you could only get one english channel on the tv ie sky news. However there was a large collection of dvds / books on hand which we could watch/read. The owners arrange for their friend KAI to meet us on arrival and he was very helpful and easy available throughout our stay. In all it made for a good stay in GC.

Owner reply:
In response to the comment about only one English speaking channel on tv, this is because Sky have reduced the strength of the signal available to Gran Canaria as a result our 120cm satellite dish is not big enough. Everyone has been affected. When we visit the isalnd in July we shall take a decision on what to do, however as Leonard says there is a large collection of DVDs to watch.

I stayed here in November 2010, rated it 3 star, said I would be back and I have been, wholely enjoying the holiday. This time I rate it rather higher, and yes I do plan to be back again! I cant really add to what other reviewers have said. This is the third different apartment I have stayed at in Playa del Ingles and it is the best of the bunch.

Nice apartment, great location, lovely views and not overlooked. The small, limited rental, community comprises some 30 apartments with well maintained grounds and beautifully clean public areas. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in on holiday and the sun loungers were also very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and has a well equipped kitchen with an oven and kettle (rare in Spain) and even sharp knives for carving etc!! The balcony is massive and we just spent lots of time there eating, sleeping, reading and watching the limited activity on the road. The place was spotless and tidy and the management team had kindly provided many useful everyday items in the bathroom and kitchen. Linen and towels were of good quality and clean and fresh and we had a duvet (not the usual blankets) Great location very close to a few restaurants and more importantly a major bus hub. The service is great and we thoroughly enjoyed a scenic trip to Puerto de Mogan, along the cliffs, for a spot of lunch in the harbour. We then took a boat back most of the way before picking up another bus to take us back to just outside our door. The trip to Las Palmas with the City Tour is also excellent. We will book again

It is a good light apartment with a good kitchen with all necessary equipment. The apartment lies near beach, supermarkets, restaurants, shoppingcenter and busstation. It is interesting sitting on the balcon in the evening and look at all the flights which are one the inflight route too the airport. Because the busstation is near (100 meter), the local busses (Global) make some noise when they arrive. This was a little disturbing when sitting on the balcon. The house and garden is very good and nicely cleaned every day.

well situated apartment. Mainly privately owned- so locals at weekends. Good location- close to beach, shopping center and excellent Italian restaurant (Ponte Vechhio) 10-15 mins from Yumbo/centre of town. Small supermarket opposite- larger Hiperdino round the corner (behind apartments). Nice shops/bars opposite- people very friendly. Generally quiet- some night-time noise from road/locals/nightclub on corner at weekends. Well furnished/equipped- nice double balcony, comfortable sun loungers and seating. Good sized bedroom with fan. Well equipped kitchen. Small but suitable bathroom. Very helpful caretakers Kai and Paul (thanks!) Good pool, gardens and surroundings. Parking: you will need to pay all day parking outside if hiring car- 5/10 mins round the corner there is white/free parking just need to find a space. Recommended for size and location- easy to get to places and good base for exploring. No tourists on site which is nice! Recommended. Thanks again. Recommend new Italian restaurant at Yumbo Shopping center- Il Gladiatore. Thai/chinese : Thailandia and bars: La Bulle, Center Stage Theatre Bar . Puerto de Mogan is a must visit- excellent restuarnet on dock front at far end- german/tapas bar- SUPERB food- best on Island.

This appartment and the surroundings are top class! Lovely decor and great location. The swimming pool and gardens are so relaxing and well taken care of that you could chill there every day! The appartments are across the road from bus station, tropical shopping center and the beach. The owners are great to deal with. Kai and Paul who look after the apartment are really nice and helped us out in what ever we needed. Only negative thing to say was that there is no air conditioning in the sitting room/kitchen other than that 5/5

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this fantastic apartment. As mentioned in other reviews, location and layout of apartment are ideal. As this was our fifth visit to the island, we were happy to sit back and enjoy the gardens and pool. However, the apartment was ideally situated for all amenities. We really enjoyed a few breakfasts and Sunday roast at Bambinos. Also enjoyed a couple of restaurants at the Tropical Centre. We would also like to mention how friendly and helpful Kai and Paul were, not forgetting the Gardener, Manolo who never stopped working for the duration of our stay.

From Ciara Duggan Booking Reference 73042-205353 Thank you for a wonderful holiday in your little apartment. The location was perfect and the view of the sea as we sat out on the balcony having our breakfast each morning was an added bonus. We loved the apartments quirky style and the extremely comfortable bed (more comfortable than our own!). The apartment had everything we needed and it was great that we had access to a pool as well as the beach being across the street! Thank you so much for your restaurant recommendations and advice on places to go. We particularly liked El Gaucho and really enjoyed our trip to Puerto de Mogan for the market on Friday. We met Jess and Karen at Bambinos and true to your word we enjoyed two delicious breakfasts during our stay. We mentioned to them that you had recommended their restaurant and they were very pleased and pass on their thanks and best wishes. We will be sure to recommend your apartment to any friends or family who might be planning a trip to Gran Canaria. Ciara & Steve

Just come back from a weeks stay at this property and would highly recommend it. It is in an ideal situation quiet but an easy walk into Playa del Ingles. The apartment itself is lovely -very light and bright and with a large balcony with great sea views. It felt very much home from home and we had a very happy week there. PS We also had a problem with milk going off very quickly. We dont think it was the fridge in the apartment but refrigeration problems at the Spar.

Exactly as described, this was a great place to spend a month. All amenities were nearby, shop, restaurants etc but not near enough to cause noise. Local busus provide an excellent, cheap way of getting around. Dont miss the market on Weds and Saturdays at San Fernando (bus). Puerto Morgan is very pretty and only 35 mins by bus. We often walked to San Agustin which has a lovely beach and lots of smaller ones on the way. Try the buffet at the beach-side place in San Agustin, nice place to relax, swim, sunbathe after lunch. We were well looked after and the owners have been attentive and helpful. Perhaps we shall come again next year.

The balcony was excellent in terms of size and outlook, although the sunloungers were rather "tired". The kitchenette was small but adequate and I ate out most of the time. Kai was always prompt and helpful whenever I needed his assistance. Would I stay there again? Yes definitely.

Owner reply:
The loungers seat pads were torn by a previous guest and there was no time to replace them prior to the next guest arriving. As the damabe was cosmetic we decided to leave them so the guests could use them in the iterim. They have now been removed.

A+++++ accommodation. We were very happy with this apartment. This was in the ideal location. We had the bus stop within minutes of the apartment where you can get the bus to the airport or any other places on the island. We found the apartment and the grounds very relaxing and quiet which was ideal. You had a sea view from the terrace and minutes (and a lot of stairs) from the beech. The only problem we found was with the fridge. We brought Milk and this would be sour by the next day due to the temperature in the fridge but I have flagged this up with the owners and they looked into this. Kai met us with the keys and checked in on us during the week to see if we needed anything that we found nice and reassuring. A bargain for the price and facilities so will recommend this to anyone. I am planning to send my Mum here next so get booking! Grest communication from the owners as well! Thanks guys

Stayed yet again at the Don Quiote probably for the fifth time. Great location second line for the walk along the sea wall which is just across the road. Very convenient for shops and restaurants and bars. We always get a taxi from the airport (35 euros) but the bus back to the airport (6.70 euros for two). Cannot fault our apartment

A very nice experience indeed. We received a very warm welcome from the couple who manage the apartment [who carried my case to the top floor] We found the apartment spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, very well-equipped with crockery, utensils, books and DVDs, plus a lovely view of the ocean. Its close to bars, restaurants, supermarket, beach and bus station yet in a nice quiet area with nothing but a bit of traffic noise. Its 35 minutes from the airport and the bus costs just €3.35 each. Its a two minute walk to the promenade and then another short walk and down some steps to a nice sandy beach with some light surf to mess about in. The best restaurant we found was a Japanese one called Sake [left, left and left out of the apartment] in Avda de Italia. Excellent food and service, many vegetarian options and the only place we found without hoards of chain smokers. Wed also recommend Bambino [left and left, by the roundabout] for a British experience with great breakfasts, pizza, pasty & chips and X factor TV if thats what youre looking for! The climate is perfect endless sunshine, lovely and warm, not too hot with a warm wind to cool you and NO flies or mosquitoes! Not a lot of history or museums nearby but it was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

We have until very recently only allowed family members and friends to use the apartment so we have no written reviews available, however the apartment was purchased as our holiday home and is equipped and furnished accordingly for our own comfort.

Owner reply:
As you can see, we now have reviews for which we are very grateful. We cannot remove the message we placed above as owners of the apartment, but thought we needed to amend it as it now makes no sense.
