Green Gables Villa
This delightful 1 bed semi detached villa is only a few metres from the seafront between Fethiye and Calis. It is an end villa, second row from the seafront. The location is peaceful with stunning views across Fethiye Bay. Walk along the new marina into Fethiye which takes around 30 minutes or in the other direction to Calis Beach.
The villa itself is basic, but has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The living / kitchen / dining area is all open plan. You can put the dining table and chairs out on the terrace for al fresco dining and to enjoy the sea views. Downstairs is a WC and washing machine, and upstairs is a good sized double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The villa can sleep up to 4 people, with 1/2 people sleeping on the double sofa bed in the lounge. It does have air conditioning which there is an extra charge, but you will also enjoy a cooling sea breeze.
The villa is cleaned and beds made up ready for your arrival. However, if your stay is more than one week, and you would like an extra mid holiday clean, we can arrange this for you for a small fee (see extra’s below).
Just a few metres away is the seafront with stunning views across the bay. A few minutes walk away from the villa is Tansas Supermarket. You can also catch the bus from outside the supermarket into Fethiye, or in the other direction to Calis Beach. It is around a 10 minute bus journey each way.
It is a pleasant walk into Fethiye along the sea and takes around 30 minutes. Fethiye is situated around a wide bay, and is a bustling, friendly market town surrounded by spectacular mountains and stunning scenery. Enjoy a stroll along the harbour, or relax with a drink or meal in the many restaurants and cafes around Fethiye. The paspatur district of Fethiye is a colorful grid of cobbled streets lined with shops, stocking locally produced handicrafts such as silver, jewellery, leather bags and beautiful hand-woven carpets. The weekly Tuesday open air market is also worth a visit and remember to haggle.
Calis Beach is a quiet, yet busy resort, with a long narrow sandy and shingle beach. The promenade is lined with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Visit the Calis weekly market every Sunday.
The famous blue lagoon at Oludeniz and home of the paragliders can be reached from Fethiye and is definately worth a visit. Also stop at Hisaronu or Kayakoy (ghost village) on the way.
