Mar Menor Golf Resort is one of POLARIS WORLDS premier resorts with a 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Design course which will challenge all levels of golfers and lots of on site facilities, Spanish and Italian "La Fontana" Restaurants, an Irish pub and supermarket all available around the 5 star Inter Continental Hotel. Just off the resort (within walking distance you have the Mombasa Cafe Bar, La Tropical Tapas Restaurant, The Circus Rock & Roll Disco, La Papardella Italian Restaurant, the "La Perla Negra" (Black Pearl) Copas Bar, Route 66 American Bar & Grill for all your live sports and on Saturday nights they usually have live entertainment and finally Flavour an International Restaurant offering something for everyone. All of them with reasonable prices.

A bit about the area, the Costa Calida is situated in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula.To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria with a total of 250 kilometres of coastline.

Blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate it has at least 315 days of sun per year. Minimum temperatures range between 12-14C and maximum temperatures between 20-22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 18-20C minimum and between 30-35Cmaximum. The average annual temperature is 18C.

The people are gentle and helpful, the whole region is well worth taking the time to explore and the good living is to be enjoyed.

The seawater is warm and very pleasant for bathing. It is unique in that there is a peninsula which runs parallel to the coastline thus forming the Mar Menor (small sea).

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Superb villa plenty of space for all of us.Plenty of restaurants and bars.Joy who met us at the villa was friendly and helpful only had one problem with batteries in the a/c remotes, called Joy and within half hour it was sorted.Would certainly book again.

My Wife outlined what see wanted from a holiday a while ago. This villa ticked all the boxes and more. Bill and Joy who are responsible for the villa while you are their ensure the holiday remains a totally 5 star experience. In Bills words " I want to provide the level of service for my clients that I would want myself", and they are true to their word. advice on the best places to eat. the places to go. help with ensuring taxis arrive at the right place at the right time. The villa is very well equipped and spacious. The garden allows some shade in different parts throughout the day, which for some people was much needed. the sunseekers are never left without a good spot. I would highly recommend this villa to all my friends, and fully intend booking it again next year. Thank you for making the holiday the relaxing break it should be.
