Had a wonderful short stay in Ibiza. The apartment was in a quiet part of the island but with good access to Ibiza Town and the resorts along the coast. We found it easy to take the bus into Ibiza Town and enjoyed a walk through the woods to the resort of Santa Eulalia, which had a lovely promenade, marina and market. The beach at Cala Llonga itself was great - fine, sandy and set within a very picturesque rugged bay with a few basic cafes and restaurants
The apartment itself was very quiet and well maintained with fantastic views down to Cala Llonga and across to the mountains. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for breakfast, and again in the evening watching the sunset. The pool area was very peaceful when we visited in September with plenty of sunbeds, and again maintained to the highest standard. The staff were located close by and extremely helpful, giving us plenty of local information including a recommendation to visit the restaurant across the road. We tried this the first night and were so impressed we ate there all 3 nights. The food and staff were excellent and the added bonus was we didnt have the long treck down to Cala llonga and back.
Two points worth considering though are the apartment has no air conditioning, which wasnt too much of a problem in late September but may be in the height of summer. Also it is quite a long and very steep walk down to the resort, beach and bus stop so car hire would be a definite advantage.

“Paradise Island”
Reviewed 5 January 2012
We visited for a week only but still managed to squash quite a bit of sightseeing in, as well as relaxing by the pool and visiting local bars and restaurants.
We walked to Cala Llonga one morning, which was easy going but a little more challenging on the way back, due to the heat and steep hill! However, it was a delightful little port with excellent views and facilities. The beach was super. There were a few shops to browse around but I would recommend Santa Eularia if you really wanted to hit the shopping spot.
Santa Eularia was a short car ride away. It is a beautiful town, offering lots of beach, bars, churches, plazas, restaurants and wonderful shops. None of those homogenous towns where you see the same type of shop, but very individual outlets with interesting artefacts and very glamorous outfits. A shoppers paradise, without being too busy. It also had every type of restaurant you could imagine, including an Omlette Restaurante which suited us as we are vegetarians.
We had a days outing to Ibiza town which was busy and exciting. I preferred the shops in Santa Eularia to this town, but the highlight for me was the trip by foot up to the old town, which stands on a hill and gives the most amazing panoramic views of the whole island, from the beaches to the mountains. It was also peppered with little individual shops on the way back down.
We visited a local restaurant for paella which is always served on Thursdays, and it seems as if the whole island descends on this place. It was five minutes from the apartments and you would need to ask for the name, as I cant remember!
The apartment itself was very clean and quite spacious. The veranda gave beautiful sea views and there was a gentle breeze all week. The facilities at the complex were first class lots of little individual areas where you could take your own food and drink relaxing by the pool which was very quiet and peaceful. The surrounding gardens are very well tended daily.
I would definitely recommend this for a holiday, as it is quite central to everything and provided excellent accommodation.

“Quiet, relaxing with superb views”
Reviewed 5 January 2012
As a first time holiday maker to Ibiza we were so pleased we chose this area. The apartment was excellent in every way, beautifully clean and well maintained. The garden and pool area had plenty of seating in both sun and shade and were obviously maintained to a very high standard. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area which enabled us to explore the Island. We would have no hesitation in returning to these lovely apartments again.
