Dahab Golden Up
Just a pebble’s throw from the beach, Golden Apartments offer spacious, comfortable and secluded holiday accommodation, right in the heart of Dahab. Within sight and sound of the sea, the apartments are 100meters from Eel Garden beach, a great, child friendly, place to snorkel, paddle or eat a leisurely breakfast.
Comprising a huge, private garden and 3 light and airy apartments that sleep Golden Up is perfect for a romantic couple’s holiday, a gang of four friends sharing or a family.
The boulevard’s busy café area of Lighthouse is just 8 minutes walk away and around the corner, the market, with supermarkets, fruit sellers and local style restaurants, is just a 3 minute walk away.
Meaning “gold” in Arabic, after the sweeping sands in the Laguna Bay, Dahab is a 1 hour drive north from Sharm al-Sheikh. Once a sleepy Bedouin fishing village, these days there are as many foreigners, but the place still retains its slow pace and mellow charm. It’s most famous for fabulous diving. All over Dahab, spectacular reefs can be accessed from the beach and about 5km from town is the famous Blue Hole, where world depth diving records are set and where you can see the graves of a few unfortunate, (mostly technical) divers.
Constant offshore winds mean that Dahab has become one of the world’s top wind surfing spots. You can master kite surfing in just four days or you can try the more difficult wind surfing, all at the sparkling Laguna, a 10 minute taxi ride from the apartments.
With its golden sands, turquoise seas and laid back, off-beat café life, Dahab is a famously hard place to leave.
There's a swimming pool at the Coral Coast Hotel, which is situated at the coastline, just 1 street away from the apartment. This you can use if you buy a drink there.
