Costa Brava - Girona villa rental

A self sufficient quiet holiday retreat for 1 or 2 families.

THE VILLA IS EXTREMELY ACCESSIBLE. Only 20 minutes from Girona airport with low cost airline Ryanair.For those that wish to drive from the UK the villa is only one hour from the french border and 12-18 hours by car from the UK.

Barcelona is only 1 hour away by motorway with many well publicised attractions.Local attractions to the villa include sandy coved beaches at Santa Christina and Fenals 10 mins by car.Waterworld, Marineland, horse riding , Go Karting tracks , water skiing , boating excursions are but only a few that are within half an hour by car.
The area is extremely picturesque, with the villa having views of the local foothills of the pyranees.The Costa Brava benefits from the meeting of mountains and sea with sandy coves and clift top walks .
Vidreres is close to green pine forests and is ideal for walking, cycling , horse riding and general exploring .Girona and figueras are the homes for the renowned artist Salvador Dali , with Goudi adorning many features in Barcelona.There are several good Tapas bars and restaurants within 10 mins.Our favorite is on the northern end of the beach in Fenals .In Blanes there is a fantastic wine bar next to "the rock" overlooking the sea which has great atmosphere with music most evenings.
When you arrive at the villa you can open the entrance gate and park directly in front of the front door and unload your belongings very easily.Through the front door the kitchen and lounge are to the left with dining to the right.There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor.The 1st floor can be reached via a black wrought iron stair case , where you can relax in a second lounge area and a roof top terrace with a view of the mountains.There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 1st floor.At the rear of the house the 5m by 10m pool sits with dining table for 12 people and sunloungers for relaxing arround the pool.For the children and active adults a five aside football pitch is available , with tennis courts and a 25m pool. All free of charge A bar is also available with very inexpensive snacks and drinks .
The villa will provide a holiday base for all active , cultural and relaxing needs, which is readily accessible from many european destinations.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, access to a shared south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
