We stayed 12 nights at Ajoupa 11 in November. The villa was furnished and presented to a high standard, well equipped and clean.
We booked this villa as it is not directly opposite the swimming pool, although we used the pool and sunbathing terrace which was very pleasant, we spent more time at the local beach which is only a short walk from the villa, this was a nice walk as you passed the locals residents who were very friendly and helpful, it was nice to chat to them and hear their stories of Barbados.
We met Monica on our arrival, she was very helpful. As we arrived late on a Sunday the welcome pack was handy.
We particular enjoyed watching the sun set from the bedroom balcony which had views of the Caribbean Sea. After our evenings out we would return to the balcony and relax with a cool drink.
We hired a car for 5 days to explore the island and also used the local buses, the bus stops are again a short walk and near to the supermarket, the buses were fairly frequent, we took a bus to Oistins and had a great time enjoying the atmosphere, the food was pretty good too. Holetown which is a short ride away has a number of restaurants and bars which was nice to have such a choice and sample the varied menus.
We would highly recommend Ajoupa 11, the villa, location and amenities were perfect for us and we look forward to a return visit soon.

Communication with the owner and Villarenters was very good and booking was easy and straight forward. The villa was very clean and just as expected. The management company came once during our stay to clean. Our stay was 12th February for 13 nights with me, my husband and 13 yr and 16 yr old boys. The villa was fine for all of us. The villas are at the top of a residential road with the beach and Il Tempio restaurant at the bottom. We decided to hire a car for our stay and toured all over the island. Owner may consider installing TV and wifi (other villas in the complex do have them). Although we ate out quite a bit we did do some self catering and also bought some DVDs from a shop in Holetown. Another holdiaymaker shared their wifi code with us so we managed to use our laptop outside our villa. All in all good value for money and a good base as Holetown and Bridgetown were not too far. This was my third trip to Barbados but the family had never been before and we had a great time. The weather was fantastic (we had one day of cloud and rain) but when we left Gatwick it was snowing. I would recommend this property if you like to tour around and discover different things.
