The Viking, which is tastefully decorated with unique furniture, offers you three complete king size bedrooms apartments including a beautiful modern kitchen, a dining room, a living room with a fire place, and three sun decks covered and uncovered.

After a busy day of sightseeing and shopping you will enjoy a rest and treat yourself to tea or drinks lounging next to the fire-place during the winter or on one of the three sun decks during the summer.

In Paris for business? Our houseboat is only 5 minutes from La Defense, a perfect retreat after a full day.

For your leisure a collection of English/French DVDs is available as well as a variety of books, guides, games and magazines. You may also enjoy playing our piano.

OUR SUITES:
"The Loft", a spacious 65m2 suite with a 15 m2 teak wood bathroom. The room includes a seating area and desk, as well as a bathroom in warm teakwood with separate shower and bathtub. Queen-size bed. Swedish stove fireplace.

"The Captain's Room" includes the authentic boat helm with a 360 degree view of the Seine and a real boat cabin especially for guests in search of authenticity and a cosy atmosphere. Entirely refurbished in acajou wood, with a queen size bed and a private bathroom.

"The Sailor's Room" located in the middle of the boat, approximately 20 m² large, with the floor covered by a sisal rug. The room includes a bathroom in teak wood with a shower and a queen-size bed. Authentic portholes look out onto the river bank.

THE LOCATION:
The barge is docked along the Seine on Ile de Puteaux, located on the west side of Paris. It faces the Bois de Boulogne and Neuilly, one of the nicest locations in the Paris area.

L’île de Puteaux, part of the Paris green belt, is a peaceful island that is only a ten-minute-drive from the bustling Champs Elysées. On the island you can enjoy the wonderful park appreciating the variety of flowers, or you can go jogging, bicycling, play tennis and take advantage joy the newly refurbished, public swimming pool (indoor and outdoor, heated year round).

For your transportation, you can choose between the bus and the subway or if you wish a taxi could be waiting for you to drive you anywhere in the city. We leave two bikes with helmets and locks at your disposition.
