The popular golf resort of Villamartin enjoys around 300 days of sunshine per year and is situated on the southern Costa Blanca near Torrevieja.
It has 4 championship golf courses within a 3 mile radius of the villa and is just a 6-8 minute drive to the blue flag beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. If you are not driving there is a local bus service that operates between Villamartin the main beach of La Zenia and the new La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre which has over 150 stores including Primark. There are several commercial centres in Villamartin within 10-15 minutes walk of the villa that offer an excellent variety of international restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and supermarkets.
There are weekly street markets in nearby Playa Flamenca, Campoamor and San Miguel which are great for fresh locally grown produce, clothes, shoes and souvenirs. Local attractions include a waterpark, fairground, bowling alley, go-karting, trampolining natural mud baths, horse-riding diving and various water sports .
