Welcome to Capel Island Village

Capel Island Village is located on the outskirts of the town of Youghal and just 5 hundred metres from one of Irelands finest blue flag beaches. While uniquely traditional in design, each cottage has every modern facility. They comprise four bedrooms, the two double bedrooms are en suite with shower basin and bowl, walk in wardrobes and pitch pine floors. There is a separate full bathroom on the ground floor where the single bedrooms are situated. The pine furniture throughout is locally crafted.The galley kitchen is fuly equipped with built in oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and washer drier. The dining/living room is tastefully furnished with pine tables and chairs, a three piece suite and of course the traditional Irish hearth, (large open fire). Decoration reflects the rich maritime history of the area.

The Facilities

The house is ina very good location near the village & close to the beach.... Youghal is about 5/10 mins in the car & the beach is 2 mins in the car plenty of parking. House has two double rooms upstairs both on suites , 2 single rooms downstairs & full bathroom. Kitchen is small but adequate for a holiday house. Shared garden space which is a negative for anyone who has small children like myself .The only other problem with the house other than no enclosed garden space was that there was not clothes line again a big problem for anyone with small children even with that he house is one of the best we have ever stayed in and was spotlessly clean we had a fantastic holiday & the children had a ball. Youghal is a fantastic spot for a family holiday

I found this property to be very well furnished and of great locality. I am very familiar with Youghal as when i was young it used to be the destination for our summer holidays. It was great to be able to stay for a week in lovely house which was very spacious and very well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definately recommend this to other or use again myself.

really nice property, well situated, with views of the sea, and within walking distance of the beach. Lots of great things for kids to do in near vacinity. would definately go back again

very clean but could have done with someone to meet and greet or at least to see we were o.k.also could have had some provisions especially after the long journey to get there ,you know a good irish welcome.
