Property and local area description

Villa Details - Upstairs

Upstairs is the spacious lounge/dining room (7m x 5m) with a feature fireplace and a log burning fire. The Widescreen TV receives UK channels via Sky. Entertainment facilities include a video, DVD player, Radio/CD player and an iPod docking station/speaker system. We now also have wireless broadband available (at a nominal cost), if you bring your laptop or PDA. The dining area contains a large glass-topped dining table. Three sets of patio doors lead to the broad balcony terrace with extensive views. Theres a barbecue built into the balcony. The 4.5 x 3m kitchen is well equipped and spacious, including a marble breakfast table, fridge-freezer, oven/hob, dish washer & microwave.

Villa Details - Downstairs
A spiral staircase fitted with safety gates leads to the downstairs hall and bedrooms. All the bedrooms have ensuite facilities, built in wardrobes and a patio door leading to the pool and garden terrace.
The 1st bedroom (5m x 5m) has an en suite bathroom, a double bed and room for another single bed or a cot. The 2nd bedroom (4m x 4.5m) has ensuite access to the main villa bathroom, two single beds and a sofa that converts into two additional single beds with full depth matresses.
The 3rd bedroom (3.5m x 4m) has an ensuite shower room and two single beds. All permanent beds are equipped with duvets.

Villa Details - Approach, Garden and and Pool
The villa is approached by a cobblestone driveway, with ample parking. A shaded terrace leads onto the private pool terrace (with a high wall that cant be overlooked). There are plenty of sun loungers. Wide shallow steps lead into the large 10m x 5m swimming pool.

The nearest beach is just a 10 minute walk. Two water parks & Zoomarine are less than 40 mins away.
Lagos and the grottos of Ponta da Piedade are 10 minutes drive. Cape St Vincent is 30 minutes away.

Notes

The extension of the motorway puts the villa only 5 minutes from the nearest junction and opens up access to the rest of the Algarve. The villa is well equipped, with enough crockery and utensils for 8 people. A twin sofa bed and a single divan are available to accommodate extra guests. The villa is fully managed locally in Luz by an English company and they are there to assist you. Cots and high chairs can be booked directly from them. Marina, the English speaking maid visits each weekday. There is a fully irrigated garden with plenty of fruit trees and flowers to enjoy. All local amenities, including restaurants and the supermarket are only 10 minutes walk away. But the villa still enjoys considerable privacy, situated in a very quiet location with an almond tree grove in front and behind the property.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

From start to finish the whole procedure was very professional.The villa is beautiful and in a wonderful location.We were extremely well looked after during our stay, every possible requirement one might need was catered for.We will certainly be reccommending the villa to our friends and family and are looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

The villa was superbly located; close enough to walk into a village with all amenities but far enough away from traffic & beach noise to enjoy quiet seclusion. Villa had everything we needed and several days we were happy spending all day just going in and out of the pool !

Motorway means that it's less than 60 mins from Faro so very accessible.

First time to Portugal and to a villa. Alimas passed all expectations. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet, along with the views. The surrounding beaches were great and not busy, would go again, no problems.
