Our Apartment

Welcome to our apartment in Puerto de la Duquesa, one of the best kept secrets in the Costa del Sol.
Our penthouse is a duplex, 80m2 with an extra 20m2 on 3 balconies. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. The apartment sleeps 4 people. A cot and highchair for a baby is available on request. 100% cotton bedlinen and bath towels are provided. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi bath and one with a shower.
The kitchen has everything you could need including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The sitting/dining room has a flatscreen satellite television, DVD and stereo.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and heated with marble floors throughout. It is on the fourth and fifth floors with fantastic sea views up and down the coast.
Note that there are marble stairs so it is not recommended for toddlers.

Duquesa Suites
This new complex has three pools and a children’s pool as well as a small playground and paddleball court set in fabulous tropical gardens. There is a lift for easy access and a designated secure parking space beneath the block.

Puerto de la Duquesa
The complex is in a quiet area yet it is only 3 minutes walk to the nearest shops in Monte de Duquesa plaza. The marina and port area of Puerto de la Duquesa is short walk further on. There you will find numerous shops and bars, a bank with an ATM, a newsagent, boutique, hairsalon and an internet cafe. Restaurants include cuisine from France, Italy, Thailand, China, India, Great Britain and Ireland as well as Spain.
The marina has more than 300 berths. There are no high rise hotels here to spoil the view. The blue flag beach stretches as far as Sabinillas and on to Estepona with children’s playgrounds. On the other side, it winds around the coast to Sotogrande. The waterfront is closed to traffic and in the summer there is a street market.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing balcony, sea views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The only good thing about this property are the key holders Jenni and Mark. The photos now do this appartment too much justice as it is in serious need of updating. Broken dining table, unstable old patio furniture and a very poorly stocked kitchen. The appartment is surprisingly small for a penthouse

The photographs on the website dont do justice to this beautiful apartment. Everything was just perfect and we had an amazing holiday! The apartment was spotless and had everything you would need for a comfortable holiday. The pools and areas surrounding the apartments were kept really clean. I really cant fault anything..Mark who met us to show us around the apartment was friendly and really helpful. All in all it was wonderful and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The appartment was lovely. It had fantastic views and was in a good location. The appartment was at the top of a VERY steep hill so unless you are very fit or are hiring a car you will not like to go for a wonder around. The appartment itself had 24 hour security so we felt very safe and 3 swimming pools including a children's pool. It was everything we could have wanted and more which is why we are hoping to move there permanently in a few months time!!

Très bel appartement, superbes piscines (3). Puerto de la Duquesa est très bien placée pour visiter la partie ouest de l'andalousie (jusqu'à seville), en passant par Gibraltar, Casares, Ronda, Marbella ou Malaga.

We had a fabulous time and absolutely loved your apartment. It was very homely and gave us everything we needed as a family. The boys loved the pools and we spent a lot of time at the biggest one where the other families seemed to meet. We met your caretakers who were very heplful.

We ate a few times at the Chinese restuarants as that's a favourite of our boys and could recommend both. We did also go to the aqua park near Torremolinas which the kids enjoyed and we tolerated!! Hard to imagine the lovely warm weather now we are back in Scotland in the rain. So yes we had a fab time and thought the apartment and complex was kept to an excellent standard.

Really lovely apartment with fantastic views from all 3 balconies. Duquesa Suites is relaxing, has lovely surroundings and only a short drive to the port of Duquesa. Great swimming pools for kids and adults, including a baby pool for the little ones. Fab & relaxing time was had by all!

We had a lovely time thanks, the apartment was really nice. The directions were fine thanks, but we stayed in the area last year so knew where to go. Gibraltar is a good day out, but be prepared for long waits to get in and out. A good idea is to walk across and catch the bus to the shops.

We had a fantastic time thank you. The apartment was perfect for us. Everything was just as we like it - brilliant. It was so good to go out of peak season it was much quieter. We're definitely putting this one on the top of our list and have recommended to several of our friends - watch this space would love to be there right now!
