Property and local area description

General Description

Adamos House consists of 3 separate apartments, all with private facilities: one studio and two one bedroom apts. The house is a Cyprus traditional village family house, which has been converted into 3 spacious apartments under the village AGRO TOURISM scheme sponsored by the Cyprus Tourist Organization. It has its own secluded yard offering peace and privacy to its occupants. All apartments open out into the courtyard area and the stone paved stairs lead up to the swimming pool.

Accommodation facilities
Adamos House can sleep 7 persons Max. 4 in the two one bedroom apartments, 2 in the studio and one extra person on sofa bed.

Other facilities
All bedrooms have private facilities with showers, WC, air conditioning, heating, satelite TV, DVD.
Comfortable rooms decorated with traditional Cypriot materials.
Each apartment has an open plan dining and kitchen area. The kitchenettes are equipped with a hob, fridge, toaster.
Cleaning and changing linen and towels are provided every 4 days free of charge.

About the area
Cyprus is small enough for you to get around easily. Roads are good and well signposted, and traffic moves smoothly and without the excesses and unpredictability sometimes found in other countries in the Middle East or Mediterranean Europe.
Limassol and Larnaca tourist area where you can enjoy night life is less than 20 minutes drive. Water parks, seasonal festivals like...Wine Festival or Carnival, and so many ancient places of interest can be found in the area like the two Neolithic villages situated 3 kilometres away. There is a horse riding centre near by, Water Park, Zoo, Camel Park and a biker centre. Visiting Nicosia, Paphos, Akamas, or Troodos Mountains is less than one hour drive!

Notes

Although Tochni village is small and quite, still supports all basics a supermarket, bank and restaurants. It is centrally located, 4 kilometers from Zygi beach and midway Larnaca and Limassol, two of the major cities in Cyprus and just 2 km from the motor way this is a great advantage because its easy to organize day trips and see more of Cyprus. Governors Beach, is only 7 kilometers away apart of it’s excellent shallow beach, also offers the spectacular white rocks area for those who like snorkeling, boating, fishing…or have a nice walk in one of the many nature trails on the hills near by, or on the beach watching a beautiful sunrise There is a great selection of nice restaurants, where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner sitting under the trees… just a few meters away from the crystal water.

The village house is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared east facing swimming pool, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

We like and go often weekend holidays in such authentic Cypriot houses but this one exceeded all our expectations. It is situated on the top of a hill with a swimming pool in the center of large yard and next to the pool a traditional tavern where breakfast was served every morning. Being on the highest point the view to the village and the surrounding hills is really stunning! The apartments are clean and tastefully decorated with rustic Cypriot furniture. The service is excellent and over all we have enjoyed a lovely relaxing holiday.

It was exactly what we were looking for. We had rented the entire Mihalis house - being two families, and it was perfect to have all that space to use. Wonderful different sitting areas so that one could always find shadow. A very relaxed and laid-back atmoshpere. The houses beautifully restored and very well equippped. We slept and ate and relaxed by the pool - exactly what the doctor had ordered..... We hope to be back......

The property appeared as i hoped and as described, the assistance was very good and prompt. Beatuful place and the tranquillity of the enviroment. Cleaning also is very good. The position of the house is good for visiting the isle from side to side, but is indispensible a car, that was prompty available if requested. Thank you very much!!!
