We had a fab 2 weeks in this house which was absolutely fantastic. the personal service from Yvonne was especially appreciated. The house had everything you could want including beer & food when we arrived & beach towels. The marina is a 10 minute walk away & the facilities in the Old Village were superb. The 3 pools were lovely & everything was clean & tidy. The bar staff in the pool bar were really friendly & welcoming. I would definately recommend this house to my friends.

I would just like to say we had the most fantastic 2 weeks in the Algarve. The accommodation was fantastic and everything it said on your site. The complex was beautiful and we will be recommending this property to friends and family. We would also like to say a very big thank you to Yvonne who owns the property as her help was really appreciated by us all - she even arranged to have us collected from the airport which was lovely. She kept in contact with us during our stay to make sure we where having a lovely holiday. Thank you.

The property was amazing! We booked it for a girlie week away for 8 of us and it was just perfect for what we needed. The layout of the villa meant we all had lots of room and didnt feel like we were in each others way. One of the pools is literally a stones throw away and was nice and quiet which meant we could get loungers next to one another and it was easy to pop back to the villa. The marina is just a short walk away (closer than we thought) and was the ideal distance to walk back and work off dinner. Our only negative comment was that there were no locks on the bathroom doors but its a small niggle compared to the amazing week we all had. It truly was a superb property that we would all reccomend to friends and Yvonnes help throughout the booking process was fantastic.

We stayed here for a 5 day hen weekend and had a fab time. The villa was lovely and very clean and really spacious. The owners were really good and always on hand if required or just left us alone if not. Lovely complex and great value and location is very nice too. Would definately go back to this place and use them again. Thank you for making this a great weekend for us!

This is a fantastic house which exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend this villa and have already passed on details to some colleagues. We booked two houses close together and with 11 adults and 6 kids we had more than enough room. All of the facilities were brilliant and we will definitely be back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Yvonnes townhouse it was a perfect for our family holiday however we did find the walk to the marina pretty far especially as we had my nan with us who was 79 years of age but you could either get the small train right outside the complex or you could jump a taxi, i found that by getting one of the taxi drivers numbers was helpful as you could just ring them and they would come and pick you up. If you didnt fancy going to the marina the complex itself has lots of places to eat, drink and party you had your choice of three pool areas but we found the one by yvonnes townhouse was much quieter and it felt like your own pool. We had a barbeque on the roof terrace one night it was perfect. The house itself was supplied with air conditioned fans but the best room with the air conditioning was the one with the en-suite bathroom in, we also found if you stayed at the top of the house the house got more warmer as you moved up each set of stairs so we just made sure we had our fans close by at night as it did get very warm and humid. Everything in the house is supplied you dont need much more than that we didnt get on top of each other there was plenty of room for us all to move and get ready we all had our own toilets/bathrooms. There is lots of instructions in the welcome pack. Yvonne was really helpful and always at the other end of the phone we definately was not disappointed and we would recommended and definately stay there again.

From booking to arrival everything and more was organised! Transfer for a nominal fee which meant no stressful car hire or getting lost, the villa had everything for our stay including towels to take to the pool and beer in the fridge for our arrival. cannot fault the attention to detail from Yvonne with email contact and confirmation, sadly we missed her when she visited The Old Village as we were busy enjoying all that was in walking distance. The pools are gated so no fighting for beds and enough restuarants to keep us entertained. For 9 of us staying at the property we had plenty of room and space. Holiday was fantastic and would definately recommed to others.

Very spacious on the ground floor, great for larger groups! on your door step is access to a swimming pool, supermarket, restaraunts and cafes! very convient for families. Taxi services are very reliable to take you to the marina (about 15 min walk) Overall a very pleasurable stay. Owver was very relaxed and did not hassle at all!!

It was a lovely house with every thing you needed like a home from home. My only complaint was the beds were a bit hard and some of us found them hard to sleep on and kept waking up. If this was rectified it would get an excellent for everything. The area was beautiful and the Pools were excellent for both Adults and Children. Also the resturants served superb food. All in all a fantastic holiday.

Fab, fab, fab!! We were extremely impressed by this villa, 8 adults and 2 under 7s in our party and not once did we get under each others feet as theres plenty of space to be together as well as having space apart. Property was clean, tidy and well presented and we are already talking about when were going back (only been home 2 days). Complex has variety of bars & restaurants which were not over priced and all the meals we had were lovely. Yvonne was extremely helpful and made sure we knew she was only ever at the end of the phone should we need anything.

The Villa was lovely. It was well maintained, located and appointed. There is a great deal to do on site especially for children with families (choice of 3 swimming pools, park and a variety of restaurants suitable for both adults and children) and the owner, Yvonne, is extremely helpful and a mine of local information (I play a lot of squash a she found a squash club within walking distance that I could play at whilst I stayed at the villa). I stayed with my extended family (including grandparents, parents and children) and all ages thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and look forward to returning.

Nothing flashy but all the better for that - good standard furniture that was just enough for what we needed without having extra bits around to clutter it up. Rooms not massive but beds good and who needs enormous bedrooms on holiday? Clean and well maintained. Old Village is one of the best places to stay on Vilamoura - I should know because we have stayed in most areas. 10 minutes walk to the marina (downhill), €4 taxi back if you are feeling lazy/full/drunk. 30 seconds walk from perfectly decent supermarket plus range of bars and cafes/restaurants. You do need to keep a very close eye on security in vilamoura (actually... most resorts of this type) because opportunistic and professional burglars are about... which brings me on to my only smalll gripe about the villa, which is that it could do with a bit more heavy duty locks, which Yvonne the owner tells me she has now sorted. But saving the best until last: Yvonne. She could not be more helpful and managed to keep her sense of humour throughout our comedy arrival routine.

This is the second year we have stayed in this property because it is absolutely fantastic. It well exceeded our expectations the first year we visited. There are seven of us who visit, it sleeps 10, and the clean, light spacious rooms are part of what makes it a lovely place to stay in. The view from the roof terrace is amazing. The house is well equipped and Yvonne the owner is super to deal with, always making you feel very looked after. This property is excellent value for money and we think a stay here will now become a yearly event for us!

This was our 2nd visit to The Old Village, having previously stopping at Yvonne's 3 bedroom townhouse with plunge pool. This time we spent a fabulous week at this superb 5 bedroom townhouse overlooking the complex's beautiful main swimming pool. Having stopped at Yvonne's other property, I knew what to expect, and tried to build it up for the 2 couples with us, who were here for their first visit. Everybody was amazed and it far exceeded their expectations. Beautifully furnished to very high standards, with 4 bathrooms that all put our own at home to shame! Yvonne once again made prior arrangements for our Airport transfer, and was at the complex for us upon arrival. Totally loved the place and will definately be going back again. Now, I think I will get in touch with Yvonne and try for an annual discount!

This property was absolutely excellent, clean, great location and loads of space- there were 7 of us. The owner Yvonne was lovely and really helpful. The only slight issue was the noise in the evening from the restaurant which was directly opposite, I could imagine in high season it might be more of an issue if you're used to quiet at home, however it wasn't really a problem for us. In fact we enjoyed it so much we are hoping to go back next year.

Booked villa as a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday. The holiday was perfect from the easiness of booking and payments to the excellent transfer from Clare to the owner Yvonne. Yvonne met us on the 1st day to show us round the house which is lovely spacious accomodation with everything you need. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise so we could make a cuppa straight away. The views from the terraces were gorgeous. I have already recommended both the 5 bed and three bed propert's owned by Yvonne as they are on the same street to friends and relative and will definately go back again, maybe later this year. Yvonne thanks for the personal touch to what was a lovely holiday, Jan

A most enjoyable week - the complex is very attractive and the nicely decorated 5 bed house was easily spacious enough for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The beach and marina are an easy walk away and the pools in the complex, though busy during the day, were very quiet in the early evening before closing at 8. The roof terrace is great for private sunbathing and has a lovely view over the town to the sea and Linda our landlady was very friendly and helpful at all stages. We are certainly happy to recommend it!

We were very satisfied with the villa and the facilities within it. We also liked the complex, and the food and bathing facilities, but don`t think residents should be charged for hire of sunbeds. Also, we think the lack of wardrobe space was inconvenient on the third floor, the decor of which wasn`t up to the standard of the second floor (slight damp problem on this floor). This could cause problems when two families occupy the villa. Finally, the third floor gets very hot despite the provision of air condition units. The owner, Yvonne, was extremely helpful and accommodating upon our arrival, explaining the issues referred to above.

I have been visiting Portugal for several years now and have stayed in many apartments. The five bedroom townhouse did not disappoint, right in the heart of the old village with fantastic views and three superb pools. The accommodation is situated ideally for both relaxation of the old village and a short 5 minute stroll into town for a great choice of restaurants, bars and activities. I highly recommend the apartment (although the magnificent roof top terrace would be slightly awkward to reach for older guests).
