WONDERFUL!!! George and his family that staff this villa were highly attentive and supportive. This is a beautiful villa that is a great value for any family vacation. The villa is a spacious, luxury home with a tremendous view of the sea and mountains along with excellent facilities - huge crystal-clear pool, full kitchen, lovely gardens, well-equipped patio. If youre unfamiliar with Greece, George can coordinate an airport pick-up and return, while also having a rental car delivered to the villa to use duing your stay at the villa. Also, internet service can be provided. We enjoyed our stay immensely and plan to return at our first opportunity.

We spent the most amazing week in Villa Agnanti this month. The views from the villa and the pool are stunning and location quiet and beautiful yet close enough to Athens and other sightseeing opportunities. The house provided comfortable accommodation for our large group (25 people). The hospitality of the owners was absolutely unforgettable: we could not have had a warmer welcome on the day we arrived and they helped us with every request we had during our stay. They served us delicious meals by the pool and even taught us how to dance Sirtaki. I believe we have to go back for more lessons though... On behalf of our group I would like to say a huge thank you for the wonderful time we had! We would most definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a place for a relaxing holiday in a gorgeous location!

And the location is ideal for those who really want to relax and get to know the kindness of the Greece , the restaurants are fantastic , great fish to eat and once more what a hospitality. We will never forget this excellent experience. And we almost forgot did ran the classic marathonof Athens!!!!! Hope to meet again, all the best form your Belgian friends.

The property is superb and the holiday for 20 family and friends was made very special by the lovely couple who run the villa - Ireni and Dimitri. You simply could not find better hosts, who were there if you needed them but kept out of the way when you didnt. Other highlights include the amazing sea views and the general standard of cleanliness. The villa delivers what it says on the web. The only words of caution are that it is not all that easy to find from the airport particularly when it is dark, so arrive in daylight with a good 2 hours at least to spare. Also, if visiting Athens, go by train or taxi or bus - we drove in and out and it was not ideal. Additionally, make sure you have a clear agreement with the owner, George, on any pricing aspects.

What an absolutely stunning place! Coming from Athens, you drive up through the village of Grammatiko, follow the winding roads up to the summit of the mountain and there beneath you is the most amazing panorama - the azure blue sea and the mountainous island of Evvia. Eventually you reach the beach, pass a couple of local tavernas, then arrive at the beautiful villa Agnanti to the warmest of welcomes from Irene. We were group of 24 and the villa just perfect for a wonderful birthday celebration with friends and family. Everyone simply loved it. Part of the charm is that it feels a million miles away from civilisation, but is only an hours drive to Athens. Relaxing by the huge pool was a real treat and the view from the terrace was to die for. Irene cooked a fantastic meal for my birthday celebration and all throughout the stay, together with husband Dimitri, son George and helper, Andrea, could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. It would be hard to find any negatives about this beautiful place, I hope one day we can return!

Owner reply:
Dear Graham, Thank you for your comments, and we also had a fantastic time with you in the villa. My parents and staff loved your group, and every single person was lovely. Thank you for giving us the chance to offer our best efforts for an original Greek hospility and we are looking forward to having you back any time in the future.Dont forget that you have a family now in Greece, and any help you need anytime for holidays in the villa or the Greek islands or anything else you might need from Greece, please do not hesitate to contact me and i will be there for you.

Irini and Dimitri could not have been more gracious hosts at Villa Agnanti. Their lovely, air-conditioned villa (which doubles as a B&B) easily accommodated all 16 members of our extended family (sisters, their husbands, and lots of cousins) with rooms to spare. The immaculately-kept villa is comfortable and also designed for outdoor living with a gorgeous pool surrounded by outdoor dining and socializing areas. The view from almost all the bedrooms is absolutely magnificent in the mornings, as the sun rises over the island of Evia. Meals can be arranged, although we used the villa as a self-catering home, with one exception. We took advantage of their offer of an authentic Greek dinner prepared by the live-in staff. They served us a fine Greek meal as we sat poolside in the light of the setting sun – a magnificent evening to start our holiday. The staff can also take care of laundry, which came back scented with fresh lavender from their gardens. The villa is located about an hour northeast of Athens, and although we took day trips to Athens, Delphi, Mycenae and Epidavrous, there are many historic sites and antiquities closer than that. Finally, Irini was indispensable whether it was negotiating with car rental companies, providing directions, or getting in touch with doctors and pharmacies. She and Dimitri and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We had a great week and would strongly recommend a holiday at Villa Agnanti.

Great location with stunning views from all rooms and the pool area. Plenty of shade around the pool. Good quality accommodation and run by a very friendly and helpful family who went out of their way to help. Have the Greek meal prepared by the family. Its a great night.

As a family we rent holiday homes quite often. Usually our expectations are less than published on the web and as long as it is within the range of 10 - 20% less - we are happy. Villa Agnanti was a real surprise - it was by far more than expected - The location, the house, the pool and all that is around it was great! 3 generations of our family enjoyed very much - well done Irene and Dimitrie.

We were a party of 12 and were very pleasently surprised by the size and amenities of the villa. A large swimming pool complemented the outstanding facilities. The location of the villa gave panoramic views across the sea and coastline. The proprietors George, Dimeitri, Irene and Julianna were always available to asssist with our requirements and daily needs. They provided a first class service. Their friendliness and hospitality made our holiday. We would certainly recommend the villa as it is an ideal retreat for those who want a relaxing holiday.

The Villa Agnanti is a magical place. Irene, George and Aurora were quick to help and met our every request with a cheerful smile. They also worked efficiently in the background to make our stay most wonderful. From the pool to the meals to the cleanliness of the rooms you will not be disappointed. This is a terrific place to visit and the Villa met or exceeded our every expectation. Our 18 guests are still raving about our time in Sesi Beach!!! Thank you so much for making our visit to Greece one that we will treasure for many years to come. - Duncan Barr

Just returned from a fabulous family holiday at Villa Agnanti. Received a very warm welcome from the owners family and they were always on hand to help throughout our stay. The villa was in a beautiful location, with magnificent views, very spacious and clean. It is very remote, only two tavernas locally but be prepared to travel at least 30 minutes to shops, etc. But for the location, it was peaceful and tranquil and worth the travel. It exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our large family gathering and would recommend it to anyone.

We will definitely be going back there. Villa Agnanti is beautiful surrounded by the lovely sesi beach, its amazing waking up to such scenery. We recommend the villa 100%.

We had a great holiday in the Villa Agnanti. 16 of us of various ages 22 - 70. It is hard to describe how helpful, welcoming and friendly the owners are. They are there when you need them, and allowing you space when you didnt. A map of the road out of Grammatiko would have be en helpful for arrival, as for the non-Greek, the roadsigns are about as useful as Chinese! but this is a part of the overall adventure! This is a marvelous place to go for a group holiday. It is a quite a rustic place, but there are buses to Athens from Grammatiko for the cultural Tourist.

the only thing we missed was no shop on the beach for buying bread and so on the willa needs bigger sun shade terasse for breakfast otherwise it was good

Owner reply:
Thank you for your review. We will create as soon as possible a larger shaded area for the breakfast as well as extra umbrellas for the wooden sunbeds. No other guest mentioned this as a problem, therefore we had not realised it as an issue as there are many shaded area around the pool and also there is an indoors breakfast room.Although our customers have high expectations and we always get the feedback and we do our best to exceed these expectations. Regarding supplies of bread milk etc, we always have this service upon request and we deliver bread to the guests at the villa. Therefore if we had received a request we would have act accordingly as we offer butler service. Thank you for selecting Villa Agnanti for your holidays this summer and we are looking forward to welcoming you back in our property.

The host family is out of this world. They could not do enough for us. They cooked us great meals, and were always at hand without being intrusive. The villa itself is very nice and the property is fantastic. It is super for families that want to be safe and let the children play in safe surroundings. The patio with seaview is perfect for long evenings. There are only two things we can point out that people need to know: The kitchen has all the appliances you need, but it is a bit "shabby". The road from Grammatiko to Sesi Beach is very steep and has a lot of twist and turns, so it will take you about 15 min. to get to Grammatiko.

We-myself and 16 members of our family had the most fantistic time, the host at the viller was excelent the location was well placed to see the real Greece its villages and within easy reach of Athens, it suited both children who were well catered for at the villa and adults who could walk around the area of natural beauty. we found a nice bay adjacent the the villa were the children played for hours, also the area around is steeped in history from Marathon to Athens. We made great friends with the host and they became part of our family group we miss them and will be back to sample both the Greek hospitality and country. Thank you for making it a holiday to remember.

The location and view are superb. Also the garden is very picturesque with potted plants, terraces and the pool. Cozy barbecue area. Jacuzzi is not a separate pool with hot water but a corner in the main unheated pool. Bathrooms are too tiny, so it is hard to take a shower. But there are terraces in each room. And a friendly owner who is always at hand.

A group of 10 of us rented the entire villa for 10 days at the end of June and had a wonderful time. The villa has been purpose built to provide holiday accommodation, so don't expect luxury, but everything you could need is available. Mr & Mrs Papadopoulos, who live on the ground floor of the villa, made us feel completely at home and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible - organising taxis, cooking wonderful dinners, treating sunstroke and insect bites and even making hairdressers appointments. There are 2 small tavernas in Sesi (the one closest to the villa is excellent) and a pizza place at the far end of the beach. You will need a car if staying here as nowhere in Sesi to buy any supplies and no bus service. Nearest village is Grammatiko, but very little there. Supermarket in Marathonas provided all supplies we needed and there are plenty of cash machines there as well - takes about 25 minutes to get there. If you want to go into Athens, it takes about an hour - best option is to go by taxi as buses are infrequent.

This is a fantastic Large villa, brand new built, with an amazing 360 degrees view of the sea and the mountains.
We loved it , as it is very nice to have a 13 bedrooms villa privately, to share with your friends and family.
Local food cooked by the couple looking after the villa, is just unreal.
Thank you for offering us a traditional Greek hospitality throughout our stay.

This villa is perfect for groups of friends or families or even weddings. We saw a small very traditional Greek church on the beach, which was not described in the site, and we thought of getting married again, just to live this myth in Greece.Agnanti is a luxurious property and its facilities exceeded our expectations. George, his parents and the staff were always there to assist with anything we would ask, and nothing was a problem for them any time during the day or the night. The positive points are, the location(sea and sun with beauiful surroundings, the villa, the weather, and our visits to Athens city.John-Andrea and our friends.

villa agnanti is a located in a very relaxing rustic location. we enjoyed our stay because we combined our holidays by the sea and also the Athens sightseeing. Car is essential because we drove our the villages and also we visited Athens and marathon several times. The owner couple are very friendly and they cook local specialities for us at no charge. We also had meals at the beach tavernas, where the food and the prices were extremely good.We will return next year to stay there for a month, to relax and enjoy greek food, fruits and the sea.Thank you George for your help in all matters and we are looking forward returning next year.
