We have stayed in this villa many times before and it is the home-from home feel, cleanliness, ideal location and great value for money which keeps bringing us back year after year! The villa is perfect, modern and has all essentials needed for the perfect stay. We even put in a request for a travel cot and the renters went out of their way and ensured there was one upon our arrival. The patio area to this villa is absolutely perfect and the renters have gone to a lot of trouble purchasing beautiful, garden furniture. Our only complaint is we were told the communal pool would definitely be up and running when we arrived..... It wasnt! In fact it didnt open until our fortnights holiday was up. This was a big dissapointment as wed taken our 3 small children on this holiday, meaning the pool was a necessity, especially as the temperatures were reaching the mid 40s. I hope this problem is sorted as the villa and the villa site are lovely and we would like to book again next year, but ONLY with a pool!

I have previously stayed in this villa on one other occassion 3 years ago and I must say I was hugely impressed with the level of improvement which has been made! This villa is modern, stylish and its clear every effort has been made to make it as homely as possible. Its beautifully decorated, with nice furnishings. The showers are a nightmare (either boiling hot or freezing cold!) but having holidayed in this area for 7 years Im used to the dodgy waterworks. The patio area at the back of the villa is simply stunning and the large garden dining set (with fantastic umberella, ideal for shading from the afternoon sun) was a great addition and we spent a few hours every afternoon there eating dinner and taking a break from the extreme heat. My only complaint is that some Thomas Cook reps stayed on the site this year and were nothing but a nuisance by the communal pool! They played there music extremely loudly and continually drank bottle after bottle of alcohol by the poolside. I went on this holiday as a single parent with my 2 small children and I didnt feel safe with them by the pool as there were bottles lying around and the reps were intoxicated. I know this is no fault of yours, but it did hinder my holiday as I was on edge at all times and couldnt relax knowing there were drunken people around my children in the middle of the daytime. Its unnecessary and inappropriate. Otherwise The villa itself is simply stunning and I will look to book again, hopefully the reps will have moved on by next year! Thank you again for a lovely stay in your beautiful villa, Joanne.

Sorry for taking so long to get back, however we had a fantastic holiday and your villa is delightful. It was the first time on a villa holiday for my wife and family and they were blown away by how lovely your villa was. For my wife and me it was almost home from home (not being able to find things at hand).
From my wife and family and myself I would sincerely like to thank you and your better half for providing such an amicable and welcoming abode.
I read all the previous comments on your property and I (we) are totally dumbfounded by some of the negative statements, this is one of the best villas I have ever been at (I have lived overseas since 1979).
Well done and keep up the good work
Kind rgds
Bill & Aysegul
Ps: Top floor suite excellent as long as you are under 6ft (me 63" my head still hurts but only after a few wee Rakis)

The villa was excellent. It was very clean and perfect for families with children. I would definitiv recommend it. There are dolmus (little bus) which goes to the beach, Belek, Kadriye etc. for a quite cheap price, but I would advice families with children to hire a car.

This villa was stunningly decorated, very welcoming, had everything needed for a pleasant holiday and was of a comfortable size for a family of 8! It was practically perfect with air conditioning in every room to keep us all cool, on a peaceful site with very pleasant and friendly neighbours and of course that superbly sized pool was just the icing on the cake. My family and I will most definitely be booking again next year, and the year after that!! Thank you! xx

It must be said that this property has been well kept and cared for. It is clear to see that the owners have spent time and money to make this villa as comfortable as one could possibly exspect .
In many ways it was home from home with all the mod cons you would want or need.
A very clean, bright and pleasant villa with plenty space and really good size bedrooms.
Perfect sleeping space for up to at least 7 maybe even 8.
We were very happy with it and I am normally a fusy customer when it comes to places to stay.
100% SPOT ON .
Thanksand could you please arrange for my £100 deposit to be returned if not already done.

The property was comfortable with a very comfy bed however we were disappointed on arrival at the condition of the house particularly the state of the terraces which were initially unusable because of debris i.e. leaves etc and dirty sun beds - there were also dirty footprints on the floor in the bedroom and a film of dust over everything - windowsills had dead flies on them - on the positive side this problem was swiftly dealt with by Sarah the manager when we complained and the house was cleaned that day There was a large amount of building work in the vicinity of the house The TV was tiny even for a portable and had no remote control so could not function - Sarah again came to the rescue and purchased a universal remote so we could play the odd DVD all things considered the house was reasonable value for the price but a clean house on arrival is usually a given and needs to be addressed for future tenants - also such a small TV in these days of cheap electronic goods seems inappropriate in what was otherwise a very nice house the 2nd floor toilet didn't work and the 3rd floor shower also didn't work - possibly water pressure problems perhaps a power shower would be a good idea Liked the area very beautiful Sarah's bar was very welcoming and we made several acquaintances there the local food was very good and very cheap and Deniz the car hire chap was excellent value and we rented a good quality car from him.
Owner reply:
Whilst we have to respect the viewpoint of ‘Colin from England’ we are very disappointed and do not recognise this in any way to be an accurate reflection of our property.
1) The villa had been thoroughly cleaned albeit on this occasion 2 days before arrival, resulting in a ‘few’ leaves on the terrace! Hardly ‘unusable’! However, I apologise as we agree the villa should be spotlessly clean, as is our usual reputation (see other reviews) and in future the villa will be cleaned just ‘hours’ before each arrival.
2) Building work? True, there are buildings in progress visible outside the complex – Belek and Kadriye are fast developing towns – but there wasn’t any construction work going on during your stay ‘Mr Colin from England’ – no noise from bulldozers or machinery or sight of busy workmen - they’re not allowed to carry out major construction work between May and October – so you could not have been inconvenienced! What a shame you failed to mention the beautiful mountain views!
3) Two paragraphs about the size of the TV! It’s a 14” standard portable with DVD, suitable for the size and style of the sitting room and perfectly adequate for all our previous guests – who didn’t go on holiday to Turkey to watch TV. However, just in case we invite another ‘Colin from England’, I have now replaced the portable with a new 22” TV/DVD combo.
4) The toilet ballcock got stuck! A 15 second release job! Sorry – a phone call to our property manager would have got it fixed within an hour. The other 2 toilets operated fine.
5) Sorry about the water pressure – it’s a temporary complex problem. It’s not great on the top floor, but the shower DOES work and is adequate with plenty of hot water, but if more pressure is required, the middle floor shower is much better.
In summary, we’re sorry ‘Colin from England’ was apparently inconvenienced by what we consider to be minor issues. We are particularly sorry he found it necessary to mention them on a public website, while failing to recognise the many qualities of the villa and surroundings. Whilst we welcome guests’ comments, we consider this review to be unfair, unbalanced and giving a false impression of the villa of which we are very proud. We are confident that future guests will find it very comfortable and well presented at a ‘more than reasonable’ price, as is verified by all our previous guests’ reviews. We would like to suggest ‘Colin from England’ seeks a 5 star hotel, at 5 star prices for future holidays.

We've been here before, so knew what to expect.
It's absolutely delightful - lovely clean villa with all facilities. Easy to get to local attractions by car, and plenty for the kids. Another great holiday - thank you.

Just want to say thank you. We'd been to Turkey many times before, but never to this part, and you're right - it really is unspoilt like the Turkey I remember. Gunesli villa was everything we expected it to be and more - spotlessly clean and everything new. It's in an ideal location to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We'll definately return.

What a lovely place! We'd never been to Turkey before, so didn't know what to expect. The house is within 10 minutes drive of the sand beach (lovely morning strolls) and both Belek and Kadriye towns, with good restaurants and shopping (particularly the markets). The house was very comfortable considering the outside temperature drop in the evenings (February). The air conditioning was very welcome!
We loved the Turkish hospitality - why does everyone want you to drink Raki?! I'll definately return (for a discount!).

Truly a wonderful holiday in this beautiful country. We found the local Turkish people so friendly although trying to communicate was often interesting!
Gunesli Villa had everything we could wish for - great location and every comfort and facility necessary for self catering, although we chose to eat out every night. The local restaurants were excellent and surprisingly reasonable. The in-house information book was very informative suggesting many places of interest - if only we'd had the time to visit them all. Oh well - perhaps next time!
