Good value for money and a great island to explore. The view from the balcony is excellent, and we had many an enjoyable meal on the balcony.
The apartment is basic, but we had no problems copying (2 adults and 2 "children" aged 17 and 18).
We enjoyed the swimming pool and the local beach which is about a 25 minute walk. A perfect distance for me.
A car is essential and fuel is not cheap, but we found the food, beer and wine to be very reasonably priced.

It is a pleasant locale with friendly neighbours and is good value for money, being reasonably priced with clean and comfortable standard equipment. Having looked around at other types of accommodation we would say it is acceptable for a couple but may be pushing it for more than two people unless there were four singles as there is only provision for two single beds in the bedroom and two single sofa settees in the lounge/kitchen area. It is rather noisy however from about 3pm until about 11.30 every day, which is fine if you are out but to enjoy the benefits of the otherwise quiet environment, it becomes hard. It is some sort of tourist attraction locally which generates this noise which we found difficult as we wanted to stay around the apartment because of the heat. When this noise happens you can however use the swimming pool which is at the back of the apartment and relax there so it is more to be aware of the potential problem. Otherwise a great and happy time could be had definitely as it is a good location with plenty of local shops to buy fresh and quality produce.

This apartment is excellent value for money as we found Sardinia an expensive place to holiday. Having said that it is beautiful and well worth a visit for its quiet beaches and stunning scenery. You definitely need a car to explore and the drive from the airports is more like an hour and a half due to the winding roads. If you park between the blue lines at the beach you need to get a parking ticket from any of the beach bars, its inexpensive and certainly cheaper than the 38 euro fine ! The apartment will sleep four comfortably, is easy to find thanks to the owners directions and is a good base for exploring the north of Sardinia.

The view from the balcony was great.
There was noise every night from a couple of nearby hotels down the hill, but we found it quite entertaining and it all stopped at midnight.
The pool looked inviting but we never got around to using it! The opening hours for the pool werent in time with our own schedule - we were long gone by 9.30 am and not back before the closing at 7.30 pm!
The flat was well equipped and surprisingly cool so sleeping wasnt a problem.
Parking was a bit difficult as the spot we were told to go to at the bottom was always taken by another car, but we always found a spot.
All in all, very nice and a good base for the surrounding area.

This apartment provided good value for money. Not luxurious but perfectly adequate for a pretty laid back couple seeking a reasonably priced holiday. The view from the balcony is great and the block was quite quiet whilst we were there in June. Badesi itself is a quiet very Italian village the only noise really was from the Iperclub nearby for a few hours during the evening - we found ourselves joining in with downtown girl on several evenings! There are several restaurants nearby, a take a way pizza place opposite and a friendly bar in the village. The nearby beach was lovely and although we did plenty of exploring we came back to this one every day. Park near te far end where Renata at the beach bar sells the parking tickets and speaks good English.
The area is convenient to reach many of the attractions on the north coast easily but be aware if you want a busy resort this is not the area to come to.
We had a lovely relaxing time here and will be back again!

We were overall very happy with the accommodation at Badesi and the description is highly accurate. Once in Badesi, it is very easy to find with the instructions provided, although getting to Badesi is another story if you are not familiar with Italian roads and drivers! Avoid Sassari if at all possible when driving from Alghero as it is a maze with minimal sign posting!
The accommodation is basic but comfortable and is ideal as long as your not wanting to cook extensive meals. The area is very safe and the communal pool area is excellent and quiet; a great place to relax.
Music can be heard from a local bar every evening but this was always over before midnight so it didn't bother us at all. We struggled somewhat to find good local restaurants although this was probably more down to bad luck. However, K18, a restaurant on the road to Badesi beach is excellent and the owner speaks a little English. The nearby beach is very nice - white sand and very clean. The beaches and scenery in Sardinia are far superior generally to anything Spain or Greece has to offer.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a great value for money place to relax and unwind, you cannot go far wrong with this apartment. If you are thinking of travelling to Sardinia, I would recommend doing so sooner rather than later as the tourism generated from the budget airlines is going to make dramatic changes to the scenery over the next few years.

We were disapointed with the location as we expected the property to be on the beach, (as stated in the advert) this was one of the main reasons for choosing this apartment.
However we had a great time and the apartment was well equiped, clean and comfortable, there was some entertainment noise from neighbouring holiday parks/hotels but it finished at midnight. The pool and surrounding area were kept clean and in good condition.
The owner was friendly & easy to contact, the booking was simple and we would definately consider using villa renters in the future.

Good communication with the owner, good location of the flat, many extras avilable in the flat such as play/beach things for the kids and books to read. One misleading thing in the description; the flat is not on the beach as described but a few kilometres away. But a beautiful high location with magnificent views. We had a lovely holiday there.
