Villa Miya is a lovely, very clean and well equipped villa sited in the village of Mandria. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of room for the few clothes that we brought with us. The kitchen had plenty of crockery, cutlery and the like and the fridge was a large fridge freezer. The villa is located in a block of new villas about 5 minutes walk from the village square and, even with the other villas being occupied, we found the area to be very quiet and restful. The pool is great and at 8 meters long it is possible to have a good swim. Parasols and loungers are available as well with cushions provided. Also the pool was cleaned twice a week by the very helpful, Tony “two sugars”, and he provided us with a lot of useful local information.
Note that taking your sky card is a must as otherwise there is no TV service available. There were however a number of DVDs for viewing. Personally, I never missed the TV even though the Olympics were showing at the time.
It took us a while to find the local beach, but what a gem it is. We found that there was always plenty of space and the waters were clean and the bay and rocks held interest for anyone who wanted to explore but there is plenty of sand for those who just want to laze around. The right hand side of the beach has good shower and toilet facilities, essential for washing off the salt after enjoying the swimming from the sandy/pebbly beach. I’d recommend driving to the beach although it is only 10 minutes walk from the villa.
Although it was stated in the information on the villa, it should be noted that Kato Paphos, where most of the resort bars and restaurants are, is 14km away and therefore, if this is what you want, then a nominated driver or the hiring taxis is a must. The local Tavernas are good and provide good food and entertainment at reasonable prices but they are not a replacement for the bustle of "bar street".
Overall, I was impressed by the quality of the villa and happily recommend it to others.

Villa Miya is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa located in the charming village of Mandria. It is thoughtfully equipped with many holiday home essentials and a gorgeous pool and deck . The owners were very helpful and accommodating with our requests. Villa renters had failed to send us the arrival details and fortunately we realized it in time...the owners sent it to us the night before we departed for Cyprus. The property was as we expected and more, we enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely reccommend it to a friend.

Fantastic Villa, just so beautifully presented and clean. We were expecting something good, but it was excellent. The owners were helpful prior to the holiday, and whilst on holiday Tony the Pool man was really helpful and Jackie who done the mid week towell and bedding change.
You definately need a hire car to get around, but this is a fantastic base only 15 min drive from lots of wonderful places.
Aircon is on 2 hour timer, and being August we needed it a lot, but it did not couse us any problems, if we woke up and it had gone off the switches were in each room so it was just a simple case of switching it back on and the room cooled down in no time at all.
All in all a great holiday and beuatiful villa.

We headed to Cyprus needing some well-earned R and R and Villa Miys provided the perfect setting. The villa was beautiful, well-equipped (with English sockets to boot!) and we didnt want for anything. The pool and BBQ area were famtastic and we had many any evening sat round the pool enjoying the local wine! All in all, we had a great trip and would recommend Villa Miya to our friends without hesitation. We loved it!

we were very satisfied with everything except not being told the a/c is on a 2hr timer which means there is no a/c at night unless someone stays awake to keep switching it back on !! We didnt sleep as temp were 45c and there are no ceiling fans in the villa The owners did get us some electric fans but dont book in August if like us you need a/c to sleep well at night

This villa is ideal if you want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful environment tucked away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city. If you dont drive you will definitely have to get taxis if you want to explore outside of Mandria as public transport is scarce. The cab drivers are full of useful information about Cyprus. The villa itself is well maintained and looked even better then the pictures. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure as many quiet nights in as you fancy with a wide variety of games, music and DVDs to cater for anyones taste. (Definitely check out Clockwise its an absolute classic). You will find pretty much everything you need and assistance for any problems is only a phone call away. If you prefer to be left alone youre offered complete privacy. The location is within easy reach of shops, restaurants and a beach. The beach isnt sandy but still beautiful and only a short walk away. The surrounding area is like something on a postcard. If you want to go further a field the motorway will lead you as far as you wish to go. The owners are very friendly and helped us a great deal with our booking when we had problems due to the volcanic ash. We didnt want to leave and hoped to be back again very soon. Would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful country of Cyprus.

This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Miya and yet again had a fantastic holiday. The villa is superbly equipped, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The air conditioning keeps the villa cool and is certainly needed in summer, as when we were there the temperature regularly reached 45 degrees. The pool is glorious, surrounded by beautiful gardens and regularly cleaned. The roman steps into the pool are great for kids.
Mandria is quiet and peaceful with a couple of decent restaurants - although Paphos is so close theres always a wide choice of places to eat and drink.
Roger & Lindy have always been very helpful and answered any queries quickly. There are also useful contact numbers available when staying at the villa.
Villa Miya is a great place to stay and we will certainly be returning again!

This was a our third visit to Villa Maya and we enjoyed it equally as much as the previous two occasions. The villa had been decorated since we were last there, so looked in great condition.
Another positive was the fact that two new bars/bistros have opened up in Mandria, giving more options for eating and drinking. Would definitely recommend Villa Maya to anyone!

This was our second visit to Villa Miya, and the experience was as good if not even better than the first. The villa was again beautifully clean and in good condition, as was the pool, which the children made full use of!
One additional bonus was the the opening of another taverna in Mandria village which offered another option for eating out. The range of food and service were excellent.
Weve already booked Villa Miya for a third visit next year, which should give some idea of how much we like it!
Would recommend it to anyone!

Anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet holiday could do a lot worse than villa Miya. The pool is great and the villa cool and well appointed. If the village of mandria (and it is only a village) is too quiet, Paphos is only a twenty minute drive. Despite being only ten minutes from the airport, aircraft noise isnt an issue. Only book in July or August if you can take the heat though - our hire car said it was 45 degrees when we got into it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Miya - it's spacious, clean, tastefully furnished and set in quiet surroundings. The fact it has it's own pool AND Sky TV meant the children thought they'd gone to heaven!
Location is very convenient for Paphos airport and Paphos itself is only a short drive away.
We would definitely go back!

It was all it promissed to be, didn't say anything that wasn't provided and everything provided was in good working order and more than adequate for our stay. Everything clean and presentable whilst all advice from owners accurate and greatly appreciated.
It was fantastic value for money for us, just a shame we didn't fill it with 6, which there is more than enough room for!!!
We will happily reccomend this to our friends and or family and the only reason we wouldn't use it again would be that we have chosen other countries to visit. Therefore if in Cyprus it has to be Villa Miya!!!!

We had a wonderful holiday in Crete and Villa Miya was a luxurious villa with absolutly everything you needed for a relaxing break. Roger was very helpful when organising our holiday and very efficent at replying to our emails. The village location of Villa Miya was very friendly and the Taverna, Georges, had fantastic food which was great value for money. Car hire is a must and driving is very easy, the Island is extremly well signposted.
Villa Miya would suit anyone and we would certainly recommend it.

Villa Miya is a beautiful place to spend your holiday, lovely pool cleaned twice weekly, spotless rooms throughout, all with air con, and every facilities for cooking, washing, etc that you would ever require, if you want to use them. it is tucked away at the end of a little village, but close enough to the main roads to get to Paphos in one direction and Larnaca in the other, and only 5 minutes from the airport. I had nothing but help from the two owners, and lots of advice whenever I asked them .
All in all Mandria is the perfect place to go if you do not want to be in the thick of Paphos, but not too far away either. I would go again anytime. The local tavernas are also well worth a visit, very friendly and cheap!

We spent a very enjoyable week at Villa Miya. This was our second time in the property and we felt at home straight away. A year on from our first stay and the villa remains well maintained and very comfortable. Plenty of scope for evening strolls by the sea, and despite the quiet (almost rural) location it is only a short drive from both the airport and Paphos itself.
We look forward to visiting again!

Deceptively spacious, clean, comfortable, very well appointed. In fact everything one needs.A lot of thought has been given to the requirements of the renter. No hidden extras. A regular "home from home" and ideal for a family.Nice pool and plenty of poolside furniture etc.The villa is very conveniently situated for the airport without being disturbed by aircraft noise and for Paphos itself. Two very good tavernas in the square of Mandria both with a "takeaway" option.Beaches also in very close proximity - safe and a very sparsely used.
No hesitation in recommending this property.

Superb and luxurious villa exactly as described with everything you could possibly need included. Friendly and helpful owners with a good sense of humour. The booking was hassle free on line and we were kept well informed about things. Quiet rural area but only 8 mins to bustling Paphos on the new road. Gorgeous pool and the gardens will be lovely once established. Will be back next year. Thanks for a welcoming break
