Luxury 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Apartment
Fully furnished luxury home available for golfers and holiday-makers alike, within 30 minutes of Malaga airport and 20 mins of the golden beaches of the Costa del Sol. The balcony overlooks beautifully landscaped gardens and waterfalls leading to a spacious pool, including changing and shower facilities.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including dish washer, washing machine and microwave.
Both bathrooms are fitted with baths, showers and bidets.
The living and dining areas comfortably accommodate 6 adults. Marble flooring throughout provides a cool environment. Warning - It can become slippery when wet.
The apartment is serviced weekly with linen and towels changed.
Secure, underground parking available with lift and stairs access to apartment.
A TV with access via satellite to UK terrestrial channels as well as a DVD / CD player are in the lounge along with an ipod docking station.
A babys cot and high chair are also available
Fully established and challenging Ballesteros-designed Par 72 course. Other faclities include a 9 hole Par 3 courses, Golf Academy and Driving Range. The Clubhouse offers high class facilities including changing rooms, pro-shop, booking office, restaurant and bar. Golf clubs and buggies can also be hired.
The adjacent four star Alhaurin Golf Hotel offers a superb restaurant, tennis courts and riding stables.
For those looking for a secluded break, airport pick-up and dro p-off can be arranged locally. However, for those wishing to explore the many attaractions that Andalucia offers, we recommend hiring a car from the airport via the many agencies available on-line.
Locality
A small shop and petrol station, as well as 3 restaurants (plus the Clubhouse) are within 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
A short 10 minute drive will take you to the beautiful white town of Mijas, famous for its ancient history, donkey taxis, horse drawn carriages, many cafes and restaurants, and some of the best views of the Mediteranean.
Alhaurin el Grande, also 10 minutes away offers wonderful views of the lush Guadalhorce Valley. A delightful Andalucian small town.
Places to visit
Benalmadena: A short 25 mins drive and you will arrive in this busy old town and port with lovely moorish harbour surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, with great beaches. Boat rides available from the harbour.
Fuengirola: One of the best shopping towns on the Costa, good beaches and sea front cafes. Look out for the Aquapark: a great day for kids of any age.
Marbella: The Playground of the rich and famous, Marbella offers many high class shops and restaurants. The beautiful old town with its catacomb of alleys and small plazas is centred around the charming Plaza de los Naranjos.
Puerto Banus: To the west of Marbella, offering plenty of restaurants and exclusive shops around the famous marina. Yachts, sports cars and celebrity spotting available throughout the year.
Estepona: A great beach and marina as well as a charming old town
Ronda: 90 mins drive along the coast road and the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda will take you to the ancient town of Ronda, including the oldest bullring in Spain, Moorish and Roman ruins and the stunning Tajo gorge and panoramic views.
Granada and the Alhambra Palace: Around a 2 hour drive north of Malaga, this is well worth a visit. The last city to be removed from Moorish control in 1492, Granada offers a fantastic day out. The Alhambra Palace dominates the skyline with ancient history and panoramic views to match.
The nearby Sierra Nevada also provides Europes most southerly Ski rtesort!
Malaga: Often just treated as an airport, the capital of the Costa has much more to offer: The Moorish Palace, Roman ruins, Gibralfaro Castle, Cathedral and the Picasso Museum - Malaga being his birthplace.
