We were greeted by Marie-Claire, so very friendly, who showed us round the house., The Ivy is a beautiful property with everything, and more, to enjoy a wonderful, restful holiday. The rooms are very large with beautiful ornaments and lamps, impressive furniture and extensive kitchen and diner. It is also very homely in its feel and we all felt so relaxed there. There were six adults, one three year old and a four month old baby. There was ample room for us all. We slept soundly in the beds: the ensuite had the bed under two fanlight windows and we were able to look at the stars!!
Ireland and its people are very special and we will return very soon.

The Ivy is in a perfect location within the town. An easy walk to Main Street and all the pubs, shops and restaurants. I have been to Lismore many times but this is the first time my family and I have been able to rent such a lovely property in the town itself. The accomodation itself is very comfortable and there were loads of towels and linen to go around. With four children the washing and drying facilities were a bonus. We will definitely be back as the children had such a great time and there was more than enough space for all of us.

A lovely property in a great location for lismore town. Excellently decorated with fab showers, great garden for the kids and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely return. The only thing I would ask for would be some velux blinds in the master bedroom as it gets bright v early in there. Otherwise, fantastic!

The Ivy is a really beautiful home, and was very comfortable for our party of 7. We were initially concerned that it would not be private, because it is located on a residential street. However, it was very, very quiet and private. The backyard was beautiful, as was everything about the home. We had a wonderful time at The Ivy, and would be happy to stay there again! We also entertained relatives, and they were very impressed with the house and all of its amenities. Thanks for sharing your home it was fantastic!

Our expectations were more than succeeded upon meeting the owner. Helen. She took us through the house which was warm and inviting. The house itself is like showroom house , beautifully frunished and spacious and vey comfortable. Additional extras like a christmas tree, apple pie and tea service to the ready with a bottle of wine waiting for us - started our holiday off very well indeed.
We thoroughly enjoyed or stay and would recommend the Ivy to anyone staying in this area of Ireland- Lismore is a great location with easy access to most of the South East region.
Proof of the pudding is that we will be visiting again .

We had a great time, we made ourselves at home from day one. The welcome we received was second to none, home made cake, orange juice, fresh flowers and an immaculate house. The bedrooms were very nice, a huge en-suite with a great shower, and lots of storage space. A large family Bathroom again with a power shower.
A large and spacious Kitchen / Diner, separate Study and a homely Lounge. Clean towels and a well stocked Kitchen with good oven, hob and microwave. Tumble dryer and washing machine. The private and gated drive and Garden was great for keeping in our inquisitive toddler. The accommodation made our holiday complete, thank you.

This Ivy is a beautiful house, everything you could want for a relaxing stay in Lismore. The house has little extras like a bottle of wine chilling the fridge on our arrival, fresh roses in the hallway, umbrellas in the stand......well it is Ireland after all!
Beautiful white linens, and a cupboard full of thick white towels. large bathroom, and en-suite, very nice power shower's
Enough room to entertain - CD player with CD's
All in all home from home, would recommend, and will be back!!

...very very nice accomodation and very helpful service both arriving and leaving.
A few finishing touches required outside but this won't spoil your enjoyment of the superbly presented interior. We'll be back for sure.
The study has been dedicated to showcasing the local attractions and has plenty of ideas for days out.

Beautifully appointed new property with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Little work still to be completed around outside of property on our visit (Aug 2006) but should be very good once finished. Highly recommended.
