When we decided to visit Italy we were thinking of completing our way around the center of the penisola after being to Tuscany and Venice. At the end we decided to visit Sicily and found this splendid Cottage on www.viscaloriholidayhome.com . What a delightful suprise. Today we may certainly declar e that we spent a different and very delightful kind of holiday. We were never exausted and were able to take it very easy and calm. At the end we realize that we have seen so many places and things that we would never have imagined to be so. This is a beautiful uncontaminated Island . What should we say about Dino and Maria ??? They are so awesome and so fantastic that we were sorry to have finished our 14 day visit. Grace never shed tears for anyone but Dino and Maria are special people. Thanks , we will be back !!

"What a wonderful stay. The accommodation was superb. The surroundings and scenery beautiful. The host and wife were extremely friendly, helpful and had a vast knowledge of the local surroundings recommending villages to visit and local restaurants to try. We have travelled to Italy on many occasions and this accommodation, location and hospitality far exceeds any previous trips we have had. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and look forward to a stay once again in the Spring of 2012. Thank you."

We had the great pleasure of staying at Dino and Marias beautiful house in the month of June 2009. 14 days of relax and exceptionally fantastic tourism. We were so near to all the most important locations. Dino and Maria were always so kind and ready to help that at the end we became good friends and on leaving my wife shed tears because we became very affectionate to them. They indicated the restaurants and the places to see. All perfect !!! One particular restaurant that we went to quite a few times was "AllAngolo" where we experienced flavors of the past !! Fantastic. It was not a low cost restaurant but it was worth every cent we paid. We have traveled in many paces, all over the world but we are ready to say that this was far long the best trip of 14 days that we have ever had. We will repeat the experience as soon as possible. At the end of our fascinating stay we got home very relaxed and we were not at all tired. That is very rare after 14 days of intense tourism and joy.

We had the pleasure to stay last october as guests by Maria and Dino. Everything was as described and met, even exceeded, our expectatios. With the help of our hosts we were able to find interesting objects and services. They were always available in a very considerate manner. Via their social contacts we had a wonderful opportunity to get aquainted with local people. We remember them as warmhearted friends.

We were lucky enough to to stay at Dino and Marias beautiful house for a week (25 Jul - 01 Aug). Everything was clean and neat simple perfect. But most of all Dino and Maria treated us as their own guests. Just wonderful people, ready to provide you with anything you need and advise you on where to go, what to see, were to eat, ... We would like to thank them once more through the review.
The house is near to all the most important locations.
All perfect !!!

My family enjoyed this holiday, the lodge was was well kept and very clean. The owner was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate in recommending this property.

The apartment is very confortable and the owners are very present and helpful. They really make you love Sicily. In this location however, a car is inevitable if you want to get around and the traffic in Catania is something else for a canadian!!! Thanks to the owners Dino and Maria , information is readilly available and recommendations of the lovely areas to visit are worthwhile. P.Fisch

Lovely holiday - made special by our gracious host and his lovely family.
The 'lodge' was first class - all the comforts of home and an excellent base from which to explore this area of Sicily - both coast and inland. Our host was always ready to offer advice and guidance on how to get around and enjoy the area. Shops and supermarkets were conveniently close and people in the town were very friendly - always welcoming helpful.
We certainly look forward to returning to the Mellow Yellow lodge in the near future, to continue exploring this fabulous island.

"I proprietari sono persone deliziose e discrete ed affittano una villetta arredata con gusto e raffinatezza, diversamente dalla maggiorparte delle case-vacanza. Per questo motivo credo che "the mellow yellow lodge" sia l'ideale per coloro che hanno cura e rispetto anche per le cose altrui."

"Me together with my wife, my daughter and our twin 7 year old grandaughters spent a very wonderful 6 day break in the Yellow Mellow Lodge in Viagrande. The house is situated in a quite area of the town with all amenities close by including a nice church just across the road. It is very eay to reach, once you get used to a couple of roads leading to Viagrande. Furniture and furnishings were excellent and the kitchen very well equipped. The owners were very very nice and available anytime for anything that we might require from an extra pillow to recommendations and directions for beaches, lidos, restaurants etc etc. I can assure anyone that we were more than 100% satisfied with our experience at the Yellow Mellow Lodge."
