Situated in the traditional Spanish market town of Oliva where you can immerse yourself in the Spanish way of life.
This deceptively spacious apartment is located on the wide tree lined avenue that runs the length of the town. It is situated on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the avenue. It is all newly decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard with your comfort in mind.
From the large entrance hall you enter the large light and airy lounge and dining area. All new furnishings with 2 three seater leather settees, dining table to seat 6 people, TV dvd/cd player and for your comfort air conditioning. This lovely lounge leads onto the balcony where you can enjoy alfresco eating or a glass of wine and watch the world go by.
The large kitchen is well equipped to a high standard with everything you would require. You can even leave the Rubber gloves at home as a dishwasher is fitted for your use! Built in oven, fridge freezer and good quality new crockery and cooking utensils, a dining table and seating for 6. The utility room off the kitchen is home to the washing machine, ironing and drying facilities.
There are 2 twin bedded rooms and one large double, all with fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and heating panels for those cooler nights.
The shower room and bathroom are both newly fitted and tiled.
If you want to enjoy the Spanish way of life, even if only for a short time, then this spacious apartment would be ideal. With its 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge and balcony overlooking the tree lined avenue that runs from one end of town to the other. 5 minutes by car to the fantastic sandy beaches of Oliva and if you don’t want to drive you can hop on a bus where you can go to the beach or visit the many towns and resorts that are on the bus route, you can even travel to the region’s capital Valencia. Visit the busy market on a Friday where locals sell their produce or relax in one of the many bars and restaurants, quite simply something for everyone.

The Real Spain!
Oliva is an undiscovered jewel in the Northern Costa Blanca, rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live .
Set among the orange groves, Oliva offers visitors a taste of Spain’s historic past with its narrow cobbled streets and Moorish castle remains, the blue domed churches of San Roc and 16th century church of Santa Maria la Mayor. In the long winding streets, reminiscent of the middle ages, you leave this century and go back to a place where time has no meaning. The locals seem unaffected by time so why not join them and have a quiet beer in one of the many plazas and just watch the world pass by.
The tree lined boulevard in the more modern part of town is home to bars, pavement cafes and the busy Friday market, where you can buy anything from local produce to clothes and of course the price is much lower than on the high street.
On Olivas beaches, where you don’t have to fight for space, there are 10kms of beautiful, unspoilt, sandy beaches bordered by dunes with the backdrop of surrounding hills, a delight for every beach-goer. The European blue flags for clean water fly over our beaches reflecting the quality of the sea and beach services: play areas for children, water sports volley ball and diving platforms, Oliva ‘s club nautico offers sailing courses. The natural park with its network of lanes, canals and marshes have a unique vegetation of canes, grasses and paddy fields.

For the golfers theres Oliva Nova Golf an 18 hole PGA championship course, one of the Mediterranean’s most picturesque, covering an area of 510,000 square metres, 25 grass mats and 40 natural tees make the driving range an ideal practise area. An additional 5 hole par three course is the ideal training for pitching, chipping and putting. Designed by Severiano Ballesteros the course is well balanced with a great deal of variety offering a challenge to every player and the opportunity to develop your golfing skills. National tournaments take place here every year.

Time to explore
This area is known as the orange blossom coast (Costa del Azahar), for good reason, with its vast fertile citrus groves of oranges and lemons and is surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery to be found in Spain.
If you drive 15 minutes inland you will find the Orba and Jalon Valleys where you can explore the winding streets with typical Spanish white washed houses. You can sample the locally produced wines including the famous Moscatel at the local bodegas.
This is without doubt the real Spain!

Oliva and the surrounding areas have always been very popular with Spanish holiday makers. Now you can enjoy its miles of award winning soft white sandy beaches shelving gently into the Mediterranean, which makes this a good choice for children.

In the same area visit the towns of Pego and Gandia, the area is steeped in History, relax and be a part of the Spanish way of life, if only for a short while.

A visit to Denia is a must whether to wander up to the hill top castle, stroll around the many shops or chill out on the new marina.

Trains run between Valencia and Gandia, and between Denia and Alicante, or a one hour drive will take you to Valencia the region’s capital. This stunning city is a must to visit, wether it be museums or the oceanographic centre, or just shop till you dro p (into the nearest tapas bar!), well you have to experience the Spanish way of life!

Property was spacious and well looked after. An excellent base for a holiday in Oliva. With the motorway and main roads nearby. It had a good central locating for visiting Benidorm, Alicante and Valencia plus all the other towns worth visiting. With the Euro being so weak against the pound. It made the holiday more expensive than expected.

Apartment is well located - just a few minutes walk to several supermarkets. Close to taxi rank and bus stops. 30 min walk or 10 min ride to beautiful beaches. Apartment was very spacious and clean.

The apartment was fantastic and we loved Oliva. The town was very interesting and the beach was great and we also got to explore the rest of the coast and the mountains as well as we hired a car to drive down from Valencia. If we were staying in the UK would probably go again as the mix of relaxation and things to do was just right on. We also loved the selection of food available even from supermarkets and especially the seafood which was much better than in the UK. Thanks again for lending us your little bit of paradise for a week.

Catriona said, "We were delighted by the high standard of this apartment, it is truly spacious and well equipped. As they said "Oliva is real Spain" a true working Spainish town. There is so much to see in this area, with the Natural Park, historic buildings, glorious beaches within walking distance where you can wind surf, jet ski etc., there is also a great golf course. This is definitely an area which I will return to and, if available, this apartment would be my choice again.
