Our beautiful 2-bed Beach (sleeps up to 6) Apartment at Isla Canela is located in a tranquil and unspoiled area in the Costa de la Luz on the western part of the Andalucia coastline facing the Atlantic Ocean. Isla Canela is a natural island connected by a bridge to Ayamonte in the province of Huelva. It is situated very close to the border of Portugal, with easy access to both the Portuguese and Spanish fast motorway networks. Also known as the Spanish Algarve, this region shares the charms of both areas - with all their advantages! The Isla Canela residential resort offers a wide range of attractions including an 18 hole par 72 golf course plus practice course with putting green, 7km of Blue Badge sandy beaches, a modern marina, 3 luxury 4 & 5 star hotels, commercial centres and restaurants.

Our apartment lies within an exclusive gated complex with lift, designated underground car parking, infinity swimming pool and children’s pool (pools available mid - May to mid- September) playground, Tennis courts and landscaped gardens.
Furniture and fittings are of the highest standard and include: SKY TV, Video, DVD, Stereo CD. We also provide a small selection of music, books, films and toys to make you feel at home.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with full Oven and Hob,Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Microwave, Coffee Maker, juicer and Iron.
Eating in or out are both attractive options, with locally caught fresh sea food readily available, 4 and 5* restaurants within walking distance,tapas and beach bars.
The apartment overlooks a spectacular sandy beach, where it is possible to enjoy a wide range of sporting activity, such as beach volleyball, wind and wave surfing and other water sports.

If, however, you just want to sit and indulge in some well-earned rest and relaxation, then you have an amazing choice! Laze by the pool which is exclusive to the apartment complex, stretch
out on the idyllic beach or simply wander out from one of the apartment’s two bedrooms onto your own large and very private terrace (we also have a smaller terrace with access from the sitting
room) which is equipped with patio furniture, marvellous weather and, of course, Your own wonderful views of the Andalucian sunset –
pure Spanish theatre, played out every day - just for you!



Ayamonte
The nearest town (5 minutes drive) is Ayamonte, which stands high above the river Guadiana and appears to be gazing towards Portugal. It is a frontier town and an important fishing port. Its maritime character is further enhanced by its dockyards and other naval trappings. During the summer months the ferry which connects it to neighbouring Portugal sees a continual coming and going of travellers, and the town becomes especially lively. In Ayamonte, there are neatly whitewashed houses, pleasant squares, Baroque churches and some traces of the Manueline style owing to the influence of its proximity to Portugal. There is also a beautiful promenade along the harbour which is lined with palm trees called the Paseo de la Ribera, as well as stepped streets and some aristocratic mansions and palaces.
At dusk the traveller can enjoy the climb to the "Costa de la Luz" Parador to contemplate the river, the lands of Portugal and the town at their feet as it shines under the setting sun. In Ayamonte even the terrace roofs are whitewashed.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
