Location
Costamar is located in the quieter end of Los Cristianos right on the sea-front promenade making it a short sea front flat stroll into the town,town beach and harbour,which then continues into Playa de las Americas and on to Porto Colon.A car is not necessary when staying here.
There are several quieter bars and restaurants opposite the complex and a pool bar within the complex together with garden area for sunbathing and a large seawater swimming pool which is cleaned/changed weekly.A separate pool for children is provided.
There is a 24hr Reception,newly installed lifts,off street parking and an Iceland supermarket within the Costamar.
No.22 is on the second floor and is easily accessed via the lift or stairs.It is on the western side of the building providing shade and sea views from the large balcony
Facilities
The apartment is fully equipped fpr 4 persons and was fully refurbished in late 2005 including retiling,repainting,refitting,replumbing and refurnishing.
The bedroom has two large(90x200) single beds and adequate storage.
The bathroom has a full bath with shower over,vanity unit and W.C,
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker,microwave,toaster,kettle etc.
The lounge has a double bed/settee,small dining table,TV with english programmes and DVD player with a selection of CDs and books.
The Costamar is one of the older buildings in Los Critianos and enjoys an enviable position.Some of the original basic apartments still exist and should not be confused with those that have been fully refurbished such as this.
Things to do
Apart from strolling the promenade,trying the numerous restaurants,sunbathing and general relaxing,there are many local attractions to tempt you into activity.
Whale and Dolphin watching trips run from the harbour together with ferries to La Gomera and other Canary islands.
Water sports are available within the bay and further along the coast.
The hill behind the Costamar is a nature area with walks up onto the headland and further on up into the mountains.Teide and its foothills have unlimited walking for the more active.
Waterparks and animal parks all exist within a short bus or taxi ride.
There is a Golf course between Los Critianos and Playa de las Americas and several crazy golf courses open into the night.
