The Villa

Villa Tessa is a new villa on the private residence of Moulin de la Mer with a shared pool overlooking vineyards and on the edge of the charming village of Portiragnes. Only 2km from beautiful mediteranean beaches

Kitchen / Living/Diningroom is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, including washing machine fridge,seperate freezer,electric hob,microwave combination oven, dining table and chairs, sofa,easy chair,CD player and radio, TV with DVD player.

The Village
The centre of Portiragnes village is a 10 minute walk

In the village you will find 3 bakeries, 2 bars, a butcher,flower shop,Post Office, 2 hairdressers,tourist office,small supermarket ,newsagents and 3 wine cooperatives.There are 2 restaurants and several pizza takeaways.
There are also tennis courts available by the hour and a bouledrome to play petang.
There is a market in Portiragnes on a Sunday morning.

The Canal du Midi runs along the edge of the village and is ideal for walking or cycling along the shady banks. It goes to Beziers in one direction ,and Agde in the other direction. Boats are also available to hire locally.
Cycle to Beziers along the towpath over the aqueduct and along to the nine locks.
On the way to Portiragnes Plage there are riding stables where horses and ponies can be hired



Out & About
The beautiful beach at Portiragnes Plage is only 2km away.
Here there are numerous good restaurants, bars and several shops.
Cycles can be hired here.
Most water sports are available on the beach
There is a large market on Wednesday mornings well worth a visit.
There are beautiful beaches all along the coast.
On the outskirts of Beziers there are several large hypermarkets.
In Beziers there are lots of restaurants and cafes.Great views from the cathedral. Golf course at Golf St Thomas.
Vias - A busy resort with cafes, bars restaurants and Europark funfair.
Valras Plage - Watersports, restaurants, bars and nightclub.
Agde - a beautiful unspoilt fishing port with winding streets,restaurants and cafes.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing patio area, a east facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
