We have had a very enjoyable holiday at Sinos Villa. It is ideally located to visit Tavira and the surrounding area. The Villa is spacious with a good sized pool and barbeque area and some great views to Tavira Island. We were particularly impressed with modern kitchen appliances and extras the owners have provided such as superb hairdryers and a basics welcome pack on arrival. We would recommend this villa to any family with children as their is great indoor and outdoor space. We are already looking to book again for next year.

Great. This is the third year we have been. It was alot tidier around the BBQ, spotless rooms and a good welcome pack. Keys were delivered on time and the staff that maintain the property are really friendly and flexible to your requirements. The only downside is that there are no recycling bins outside the front gates which are not screened off, and we did have some passing traffic offloading some quite big items there. Just that you can see all this was where you sit on the BBQ with the position of the table. Apart from this brilliant and already going to book for the same time next year.

Absolutely no problem recommending this property to anybody. Sleeps 8 people comfortably. Spotlessly clean when we arrived with a nice welcome package of some essentials.
George and Andre who were there to meet us couldnt have been more help. Only 10-15 mins walk from local supermarket. 20-25 mins walk from beautiful Tavira town centre. Thanks great holiday.

Lovely villa, spacious and well equipped. The pool was great if sometimes a little refreshing!
Great outside space and there was usually a nice breeze across the patio.
Supermarkets nearby (directions would be nice though!)
Greeting staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only tiny issue was that the pool man was so keen he came at 8.30 on Sat morning which meant there was no hot water until hed finished.
It is 20 mins walk down hill into town and portuguese pavements are variable so buggies might have an issue.
Overall we had a great two weeks and wouldnt hesitate to recommend the villa

We were met by the friendly local representative at Sinos Villa and shown round. The pool is stunning (and most welcome in the heat!) and the layout of the villa is excellent. There were 7 of us staying and we found it very comfortable and spacious with air conditioning in every room. The entertainment (Satellite TV, books, games etc) made it like a home from home - with the exception of those damn mozzies!!
Sinos Villa is situated in an easy to find area of Tavira with some great golf courses nearby (recommend Castro Marim). A number of well stocked supermarkets are within a short drive as are some fantastic beaches. We would highly recommend Ihla de Tavira which is just a short ferry crossing from the mainland, with beatiful beaches and very good restaurants and bars.

The Villa was equipped with everything we needed and with the private pool we hardly needed to go out. On our arrival we were greeted with a candle lit table, grilled chicken and beer in the fridge - what a great start! The walk into Tavira was sometimes a struggle for small children in the heat, but at less than 5 Euros for a minibus for 8 of us this was no problem. Would definitely recommend Sinos Villa for a truly relaxing holiday.

Once again this year an excellent holiday at Sinos.Wonderfully relaxing.
Improvements...toilet rolls from day 1 and also the pool man should be scheduled so that you can relax or alternatively be away from the villa.
Otherwise perfect and would recommend unreservedly.
Owner reply:
We are very grateful for the genuine comments and have already contacted our local agent to address the points highlighted. It is only by learning from our guests that we ensure that the Villa standards are maimtained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sinos Villa, Tavira. The website photos do not do the villa justice! Lovely gardens with lime and lemon trees and a riot of colourful blooms in the front garden. A very well equipped kitchen complete with a very nice welcome pack! The BBQ was a great hit too. Requests for assistance from Andre were responded to within minutes. Air con in all bedrooms were most welcome and appreciated. Both the booking system and the pre-holiday information email were most efficient and informative, especially the restaurant recommendations. As there were 7 in our party we decided to take aquataxis to Tavira beach which are fast speedboats and were only a few euros more expensive than the ferry. We could not decide which beach was better - Tavira Island or Cabanas - both were excellent. Tavira town is lovely with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. Would definitely recomment both the villa and Tavira.

the villa is exactly as described, in a quiet location and whilst its not overlooked, its not isolated. the villa is very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. all home comforts with the benefit of lovely weather and a pool! very nice bbqing and eating beside the pool and lemon trees in the garden. the nearest supermarket is about 10 mins walk away so whilst not essential we felt we got more out of the holiday by having a car. the journey from the airport is fairly easy with the owners directions and we took the opportunity to explore nearby towns and beaches. Spain is only half an hours drive and a short ferry ride away. Tavira itself is a lovely town, not touristy, but still lots of nice restaurants and cafes, a few boutiques and shops and things to see. good contact from the owners in advance. great value for money, would definitely recommend and return.

We found this Villa to be everything we expected and more. Fantastic property with a great location. Very quiet but close to Tavira. We will return without a doubt. Thanks for a relaxing week.

The villa was very spacious and in a private location in a quiet residential area. The villa was very well equiped, clean and well maintained with lovely gardens. The town itself had plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants to choose from and whilst they arent too far away we felt that a car was essential.
Overall we were very impressed with the villa and it compared very favourably to other locations we have stayed in previously.

We have been to this villa twice now and have had two excellent holidays. Located just on the outskirts of Tavira town, about a 15 minute walk to the center and a 15 minute drive to the beaches, the villa is set in a quiet location away from the traffic. It has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The gardens are well looked after and the pool is cleaned twice a week. The booking process is simple and efficient. Directions and an info pack are emailed by the owner and you are met at the villa by the owners representative and given all the information you could need!
If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of somewhere like Albufeira and seek somewhere a bit more tranquil and reminiscent of the "old" Portugal then Tavira is for you. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Seville is only an hour and 50 minutes away and Lagos can be reached in just over an hour if you want the more rugged cliff lined coastline.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend this villa. The only problem with that is that it may not be available the next time we want to visit Tavira!!

Great location and all the facilities are great and modern and better than anticipated. We liked the fact that it was not overlooked and exceedingly private. The setup in the overall villa is that you can treat it like 2 separate apartments with the sleeping arrangements and bathrooms. We know Tavira well, so can walk in easily to the shops and restaurants and supermarkets.
The villa is very modern and found that everything was on hand apart from a good jug to make sangria.
The manager Andra was very helpful in finding us somehwere to camp out on Saturday with villa handover and a late flight back to the UK, but it would have been nice to have this information on the Friday for planning, but Andre was exceedingly helpful.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the villa, it was very comfortable and clean and had everything you could want (even a welcome pack).
It more than lived up to what we were expecting and we have already recommended it to others.
We even recieved an information pack and a useful guide to eating out in tavira from the owners before we left for our holiday.
The location was ideal, it was quiet and peaceful and the pool certainly came in handy. It was only a 20 minute stroll into the Town centre of Tavira.
The towns people in Tavira where friendly and polite and the selec tion of food was truely delicious.
The only regret we had is that we only stayed for 1 week

Another fabulous holiday at this villa second year in a row - thank you.
Sinos Villa is a lovely, clean, spacious and quiet villa close to the town centre. Short drive to some lovely beaches and a short walk into the town at night for some really good restaurants, though Pingo supermarket and the local fish market provide fantastic fresh fish and meats for the BBQ.
Highly recommend.
Thank you

We had a wonderful holiday at the Sinos Villa in Tavira. We all felt very comfortable in the spacious well appointed house, with plenty of room outside. The swimming pool and barbecue were well used and I have already recommended the place to others.
The town centre of Tavira is a 20 minute walk to where there is lots going on in the evenings and you join many locals enjoying themselves mixing with tourists. The restaurants were all great and very good value for money.
I would love to return in the future.

We spent a glorious week at the villa, everthing we needed was supplied, truly a home away from home. The villa was very clean and located in a very peaceful area, yet it is only a stroll away from the town centre. Tavira is a very quaint town loads of nice walks. Would highly recommend the villa to our friends. Many thanks.

The villa was extremely well maintained with great care and consideration having been afforded to the availability of sundry items e.g.
welcome pack crockery / cutlery board games books for children etc.
The villa is in a very quiet location with no immediate neighbours which we found to be a nice bonus.
The town of Tavira is within walking distance and there are several golf couses within 15 mins drive.
Will definitely use this villa if we go back to this area in the future

The owner contacted us before our holiday and we were met at the property by a very helpful and friendly representative. the villa was immaculate and spacious. It was great value for out of season and contained all the commodities we required. The description was accurate, and i feel the owner could improve the web-details by the provision of more photos of the interior as it was nicely presented. We were re-contacted by the owner after our stay to make sure we had a good time or had any concerns.

A superb villa with ample space, a lovely swimming pool, secure gardens, and situated close to the town of Tavira. The bedroom layout worked out perfectly for two families sharing the villa, a cot and highchair were also provided for the baby.
Fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ facilities for eating in, or it was just a short 15-20min walk into the town of Tavira for fantastic dining, and a superb ice cream palour with approx 30 flavours - a great hit with the children and adults!
The beach of Cabanas a short drive away was beautiful, and highly recommended.
We will definetly be returning - thank you once again for a great holiday.
