Just 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport & costal resorts (Marbella etc), this beautiful home from home is ideal for families wishing to get away from it all & is also a great place from which to explore Andalucia.
Offering modern, contemporary comforts, yet retaining a typically authentic feel, fully in keeping with local tradition, the villa offers amazing views from every angle, with a first floor terrace which was made for watching the sun go down - with a glass of something!
What you need to know
The property is presented in excellent decorative order, fully equipped, tiled throughout, simply & comfortably furnished. The ground floor comprises a spacious living room (with working open fire for winter), large fully equipped eat in kitchen, washroom/wc & large double bedroom with en-suite.
Both the living room & bedroom overlook a covered terrace with beautiful views. The upper floor offers a further 3 large double bedrooms (one en-suite), & a further separate shower/washroom/wc. All bedrooms are well appointed & spacious with fully fitted/integrated wardrobes. The upper terrace has terracotta tiles and offers stunning views of the beautiful surrounding countryside .
Set back from the road, the villa lies within its own substantial grounds. The property enjoys excellent road access & off road parking for several cars. It is suitable for year round holidaying
The Villa also benefits has its own large, private pool (8m x 4m) which is open 1st April - 31st October.

Local Attractions & Amenities
Andalucia is Spain’s most beautiful region, offering something for everyone throughout the year. The small but lively town of Álora, just 6 minutes drive away, is a typical example of an Andalucian pueblo blanco (white town) with its whitewashed houses and narrow cobbled streets. It is nestled between three rocky spurs topped by the ruins of a magnificent castle. It also offers a large supermarket, banks, chemists, post office, plenty of tapas bars as well as a museum & theatre. The Monday market sells local produce & it has two annual festivals in June & September. The villa is within easy reach of Alora rail station which provides quick, reliable & inexpensive direct access to Malaga & the coastal resorts as well as inland to Bobadilla for onward connections across Spain.
Malaga is just 30 minutes drive It is a lively city, centred around a busy port providing some of the best seafood in the country. The old town offers a maze of cobbled medieval streets, the Picasso Museum, the Alcazabar, old buildings steeped in history & plenty of typical tavernas. The new town offers bars, restaurants & some great shopping!
The stunning El Chorro National Park & the fresh water lakes of Embalses del Guadalhorce are just 15 minutes drive away. The sheer cliffs at El Chorro offer a world-class location for climbing, caving, walking & other outdoor pursuits.
Sevilla, the capital city of Andalucia, with its streets lined with orange trees & wonderful world of genuine gypsy flamenco makes for a perfect day trip. Also within easy reach of the villa is Granada & the Alhambra, a superb example of Moorish architecture & exquisite gardens & Ronda, which straddles a spectacular gorge & is home to the oldest bullring in Spain.
The Costa del Sol stretches for 160 kilometres to the east & west of Malaga. It offers magnificent beaches catering for sun seekers, watersports enthusiasts & naturists.
