This is an excellent, beautifully equipped appartment in an outstanding location with easy access to Lake Bled and the Triglav National Park. This would be an ideal place for a family with such a range of activities to take part in, but we were an older family (two in our 50s and one of 86!) and we also loved it. The weather was hot when we stayed in early August, and the pool was a welcome extra for cooling down at the end of a busy day. Ralph and Jo are on hand to give helpful advice about the area (thanks for the tip about the fireworks at Lake Bohinj on the night we arrived), but you can remain private if you prefer to. Our first time in Slovenia but we highly recomment this stunningly beautiful country and hope to return.

Holidayed here from 14th to 28th July 2012 with 2 teenage boys. Apartment 4 at the farmhouse was everything we could have wished for and more. Great location within easy reach of Bled and surrounding area, fantastic views from the balcony, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, enjoyed the pool and the BBQ area and the lovely rustic garden. Our hosts Ralph and Jo were most welcoming and gave good tips on places to visit, local restaurants etc. Would most definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment. It is well presented, furnished and equipped and we were very comfortable. The apartment was more spacious than we imagined and the outside garden and pool area are also attractive. The village is in a quiet, scenic location with a well stocked local shop you can walk to. We would like to return and thank Ralph and Jo for a great holiday.

This is a fantastic property in a wonderful location. We were very impressed by the standard of the accommodation and would not hesitate to recommend this as a holiday destination.
We stay in self catering accommodation 3 or 4 times a year and this was easily the best quality accommodation we have stayed in. We thought it was great value for money considering we stayed in mid summer and that we were very well catered for.

Recently returned from a wonderful week in Bohinjska Bela. The apartment was everything we wanted and more - spotlessly clean, wonderful views and full of the personal touches to make you feel like youre at home - the guidebooks and maps were also invaluable during our stay.
The apartments are an absolute credit to Ralph and Jo and we will be recommending them to our friends and family. We would definitely consider staying again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We enjoyed an excellent week here in late June-early July. My family (two young children) often book week-long self-contained accommodation in various places around Europe, and every now and then you find one where the whole experience is just outstanding - and it is always, ALWAYS when the owners are actively involved in the management, either on site or nearby. This was the case here. Nothing was too much trouble everything had been thought of and they were a ready and friendly source of advice on everything from excursions to meals to weather conditions. It makes a vast difference when the owners clearly want you to like the place and to have a good time. The location is obviously stunning, but its more than that: simple things about equipping the kitchen properly, good ideas such as an outdoor bbq area and the ready availability of wood and kindling to start your log fire, the availability of free broadband. We were truly sad to leave, and did so without a single negative thing to say. If you pushed me to make one suggestion for improvement - truly the only thing I can think of - it would be access to a washing machine. Thanks for a very relaxing week. Chris

We had an absolutely excellent time. Ralph and Jo werevery helpful and friendly. The apartment itself was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We made good use of the pool, jacuzzi and BBQ area. We hope to return in the winter and would highly recommend the apartments.

We stayed for a week at the apartment and had a wonderful time! The apartment is about 5 minutes from Bled and 35 minutes from Bohinj. It is rested in a quaint little village. We were close to everything we wanted to do, but outside of town so we could have the peace that we were looking for. The apartment had everything we needed, and there were several very thoughtful touches. I particularly liked that Jo put some fresh cream in our refrigerator so that I had it for my coffee in the morning!
The apartment and the grounds were very well kept (the pool is very refreshing on a hot day!) and it is nice enough that if you want to spend a day just doing nothing, relaxing pool side or even in the apartment looking at the views is worth it. They also have good bandwidth on their wifi - we had no problem with making a couple of necessary Skype calls, checking emails, etc.
The owners, Ralph and Jo, are also very charming people! They are eager to help, and pointed us to several things to do. They were also very respectful of privacy. Really, the perfect hosts.
The area itself is beyond description. Pictures do not do it justice. We went hiking, horseback riding, bicycling and caving, and we still wanted more.
We definitely want to come back, and we would stay here. We 100% recommend the Farmhouse Katricnek!

We stayed in Katricnek (Appt #4) for a week at the end of May 2011 two adults 2 kids (aged 8 and 5) to visit the Bled area and had a fantastic time.
The Farmhouse is in a pretty village in a great location - in a beautiful quiet valley yet only minutes from Lake Bled.
The apartment was clean, spacious and well equiped. The Farmhouse outside area was beautiful and we made full use of the pool, hot tub and covered bbq area.
Loads to do in the area - walking, gorges, rafting, canyoning, boating on Bled and Bohinj.
Ralph and Jo were great hosts - they went out of their way to make us welcome and offer advice.
Cant recommend the place enough - would love to return sometime.
