Villa Karli is a detached, single storey home and is extremely well equipped to offer you a home from home holiday in a stunning part of France.
Just a minute or two's walk from the boulangerie (baker's), local supermarket/general store and village wine cave, our villa is in the heart of the village, where once a week, the market offers a selection of fresh, local produce. at the end of our road, there is the village tennis court and 30m swimming pool, both refurbished a couple of year's ago.
The fully fitted kitchen has everything you could ever need on holiday (including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, fan oven, digital hob, microwave, digital scales, espresso machine, blender, excellent selection of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery with children's beakers, plates, bowls and cutlery too plus much more). Nevertheless, the surrounding area offers an excellent selection of superb restaurants, ranging from gourmet budget busters, to delightful little places serving delicious home cooked fayre. Alternatively, make use of the built in BBQ or treat yourselves to gourmet quality meals, delivered to the villa by the local caterer.
We have paid a great deal of attention to ensure we provide a vast array of children's equipment for your use and enjoyment.
All of the rooms are well decorated with tasteful, matching furniture and the numerous patio doors and large windows make for a light and airy property.
Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the warm Languedoc sunshine
Especially suited to families with young children, our villa is fully equipped to cater for your every need.
The villa is extremely safe - it is fully enclosed with locking entry gates. The private pool is also fully secured to remain safe at all times. The pool is circular, with sunloungers & pool toys and occupies a very sunny spot with its own shade and pool-room.
The secluded gardens/terraces offer various dining opportunities as well as a perfect place to relax and/or play.
There is a sunny breakfast terrace, overlooking the lawn, accessed from the kitchen and conservatory.
In addition, there is a large rear terrace, with a lovely built in BBQ. Tables and chairs are of course provided on both terraces. In the back, a large bamboo-covered wrought iron pergola provides welcome shade in the summer.
There is a large flat area laid to lawn, with garden play equipment for our younger guests.
To the side of the villa, there are vines and fruit trees, which lead to the laundry drying area and at the back of the villa, there is a boules area.
In addition, a dartboard is provided for our guests to use on the rear terrace - ideal for playing whilst dinner cooks on the BBQ!
Nestled between the sea and the mountains - so much to do and see
The villa is ideally located for days at the beach, swimming, golf, cycling, canoeing, sailing, horse riding, walking, tennis, wine tasting, French cuisine, sightseeing, canal trips or if you prefer, you can just relax at home; sampling the local wines & produce, dining on one of the terraces, lazing about in the gardens or enjoying a dip in the pool.
Bordered by the huge peaks of the Pyrenees, the heavily perfumed herb filled fields of Provence and the rugged landscape of the mountains and gorges of the Massif Central, the luscious Languedoc-Roussillon region of France is fast taking over as France's most popular holiday destination.
The vast vineyards produce an abundance of excellent wines, including Corbières, Minervois and St Chinian.
Strong Mediterranean flavours, such as garlic, thyme, and rosemary are used in abundance with fantastic locally grown fruit and vegetables. On the coast, wonderfully fresh seafood, including superb oysters and mussels, is available all year long, whilst from the mountains, patés, hams and wild mushrooms create enticing menus.
The Languedoc is blessed with a wonderful climate, rich wildlife, a spectacular coast and beautiful scenery.
It is simply the perfect holiday destination, with long, hot, sunny summers, excellent beaches, thousands of miles of walks and cycle paths, National Parks, castles, caves, rivers and lakes.
All in all, a holiday at Villa Karli will leave you spoilt for choice.
