A very comfortable, peaceful and secluded , scenic villa. The local views are stunning. Very close to Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco , which are both pretty and historic towns with everything youll need.
Lovely pool, but bring your own toys if you have children, as not any at villa.
Very friendly welcome and helpful advice.

The villa is equipped to a very high standard and is very homely. The countryside is stunning and we had amazing weather. You are in the middle of Spanish countryside and very few people speak English so go armed with your phrase book. We had some delicious food and once you tried a little bit of Spanish people were generally friendly.
Veluz Blanco is definitely worth a visit.
We would visit again.
Many thanks to Chris, Tony and Dave.

This is a very well appointed villa in an excellent location assuming you are looking for privacy and seclusion. You are well looked after by Christina and her husband Tony who live nearby, and Dave the pool man.
The only downside with the property is that while we were there, there seemed to be a plague of wasps which were there from early morning to early evening. Although they didnt seem to want to sting anyone, it just made for an unrelaxing holiday - not the fault of the villa but of its location.
Owner reply:
Whilst efforts were made to solve the unpredictable visiting wasp problem during your stay we are sorry you did not achieve as relaxing a holiday as all our previous guests did.
As this was the only negitive on the holiday - a 2 star review award is very harsh. Review will not be removed as future guests can view the previously consistant 4/5 star reviews and judge for themselves.

excellent location for this house (providing you like things quiet) set amongst olive and almond trees.lovely and quiet. the house is extremely well kept and comfortable as is the large surrounding terrace and good size pool. only slight criticism would be that kitchen equipment needs bit of upgrade (for us anyway as we like to dine-in rather than out) and we had to buy couple of items such as wine glasses, coffeee maker, teapot. otherwise, you will have an excellent holiday. meet& greet arrangements work fine (car essential).nice villages are 10 mins drive and there are various markets with superb, inexpensive produce to buy.
this is a rare find in that it is truly off the main tourist trail but is not hard to access and the whole countryside is as nice as anywhere in Spain.

Stunning villa. Whole holiday so relaxing. Christina, Tony and Dave all very helpful. Villa has stunning views, is secluded and relaxing, didnt want to leave. The area gives you a feel for the real Spain with the locals been helpful and friendly even when your spainish is not good.
For a place to recharge your batteries then Casa Neenee is the ideal place to stay.

A truly isolated and spacious villa, furnished in a modern clean style. Good pool with plenty of paving around. Comfortable bed and other furniture and well fitted kitchen. Note that the mosquito nets in the photos are for decoration only - although that wasnt a problem as we justy kept the doors shut.

We needed to chill out and recharge the batteries and we certainly acheived this at Casa Nee Nee. The views from the villa are wonderful and change with the light. The only sounds you can hear are of birds and other wildlife. The villa has everything you need and is modern and very comfortable. Christina, Tony and Dave thank you for your helpfulness and friendliness. For a true relaxing holiday this is the place with the town of Velez Rubio a short drive away you can experience true Spain amongst the local people.

Brilliant location, quiet and relaxed. Villa was very well equipped, and loved using the stone barbecue by the pool. Not far to Granada and Aguilas for day trips. Good to sit out on terrace drinking Rioja. Dave, the pool guy, lots of help and information.

Beautiful location, perfect for complete relaxation away from other people. House was lovely, well equipped and not overlooked at all. Neighbours are on hand to help with anything if needed and Dave, the pool man who visits 3 times in the week is also very helpful. Almeria was a new experience for us - a bit of a drive to visit a lot of places although there are a few close by and excellent road connections. I can imagine many would simply be happy to relax in the shade with a good book for the week in complete tranquility with total privacy. I would highly recommend this property!

A beautiful villa in an extremely peaceful place but with excellent neighbours on hand in case of emergency/advice. The surrounding country is the best part of Spain we have visited and we are considering a move there permanently. Chris and Tony (neighbours) are fantastic and made the holiday even better. weather excellent, lovely breeze. excellent facilities throughout the villa. Velez Rubio has everything to cater for your needs including a Health Center. A visit to Velez Blanco is a must. This is real Spain where the locals welcome you with their traditional courtisy.
The villa is as close to nature as it gets and at night it looks as though the sky has been switched on. Excellent value for money. There is nothing I can think of that was negative

Casa Neenee is the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful, get away from it all holiday. Set in a stunning rural mountain location about 5 miles from Velez Rubio, the villa is of a very high standard and very well equipped with all you could want. It is surrounded by about 5 acres of almond groves and is completely private. The kids (aged 12 & 10) loved it as they could play and make as much noise as they wanted without disturbing anyone. The support network of neighbours Tony & Christina and Dave the pool man couldnt be faulted. They are all very friendly & helpful and have a substantial knowledge of the area should you wish to go exploring. I would highly recommend this villa and hope to return next year.

A really beautiful villa in a very rural setting, peaceful and very clean. A really lovely holiday. The pictures do not do it justice. The neighbours were very kind and helpful and on hand throughout our stay. Great for a small family as there was a highchair, brand new travel cot and even a brand new pushchair! We hope to return soon.

Casa Neenee is well furnished and very comfortable. Pure heaven for a very peaceful and relaxing stay.
We were very well looked after by Tony and Christine who made us very welcome and who also quickly resolved a problem we had with the hot water.
We had a great time and really didn't want to leave. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Peace and relaxation, with privacy to enjoy yourself. The neighbours, Tony & Christine, are always on hand for any queries, and were wonderful to us during our stay. Early flights are best if you don't know the area, not that easy to navigate at night! Its a catholic country so don't expect to do any shopping on the Sunday.
Perfect place to de-stress and chill out.

A beautiful, peaceful location with fantastic facilities. The villa is beautiful, a true home from home. Lovely pool which is well maintained.
We had a fantastic holiday, visited lots of local villages and towns. All very friendly and helpful.
Comforting to know that Tony and Christine are on hand should there be any problems, (not that we needed them) they are very friendly and helpful as was Dave the pool man. He had lots of good advice on places to visit in the area.
Highly recommended as a true break from the usual hustle and bustle of package holidays. We actually feel like we have had a holiday!

We so appreciated the beautiful views, peace and tranquillity, and the comfort of the house which stayed cool on even the hottest days (no need for the air-con unit). Very well-equipped kitchen - top marks from one who likes to try out the local produce on holiday! Well located for day trips further afield (we drove through part of the Sierra Nevada) though there's plenty to see and do more locally in this fascinating corner of Spain.
