Just back from lovely relaxing holiday. Great property. Quiet. Chickens. A frog, a kitten. Beautiful pool. Lovely Dalyan. great service. Thoroughly recommended. Shame it seems to be already completely booked for next year!

This was an excellent vacation property... If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation, the Lemon house will do the trick. The rooms were spacious and the house very well looked after. The direct access to the patio and pool from the living room also made it very easy for us to look after our children. The pool itself was perfect and we could hardley keep our girls out of it. Thanks go out to Fatma as well for her daily cleaning of the pool and the house... We look forward to coming back again in the near future. Mike and Ayse Hillhouse (Istanbul / Toronto)

Staying at The Lemon House was a truly lovely relaxing holiday experience. It is very private amongst the lemon trees with the chickens wandering around and Dalyan is about 10 mins by car along a very straightforward route. The villa is spoltlessly cleaned by Fatima who is very discrete. There is a small convenience shop within five minutes on foot which sells bread and most other bits and pieces. I couldnt recommend this villa more highly.

Everything we expected and more, it said cable TV but we could only get ccn news would have been better with morr choice . Felt the air con in the lounge was.nt as efficient as the other rooms probably needs a look at, but as for everything else excellent. we will be booking up for either later this year or definately for spring next year as 39 degrees in the shade was to hot for us but thank god for the lovely pool. Could,nt fault it, already got family that want to go.

This is truly an amazing villa. We didnt know what to expect staying for three weeks with three children - two teenagers! - but this villa exceeded all our expectations!! The location is simply fantastic - you feel completely away from everything - yet only 10 minutes by car from Dalyan - and a 10 minute stroll to the local corner shop. The villa was cleanand very comfortable - Fatma came EVERY day and was very discreet - made the beds, etc - wonderful also to have beach towesl provided - so dont bring your own! Her cooking is really worth experiencing too. The pool is a great size - bigger than we expected and cleaned twice a day. I cannot say enough how much we all enjoyed our stay at the Lemon House - the photos dont do it justice!! The views are simply amazing from the balcony and you are surrounde by fruit trees and hills. I know we will be returning next year. Another huge bonus that it is really only 30 minutes from the airport.

The Lemon House was the perfect place to stay for myself and my partner. All the privacy you want, and only a short drive into Dalyan.
The setting is lovely, amidst an orchard, so you can pick oranges, lemons, plums etc fresh off the tree.
The pool is great, and gets the sun all day from around 6am to 8pm in July.
Although there were only 2 of us, this cottage is ideal for a family, or up to 5 or 6 people.
Dalyan itself is still fantastic, and we hope to return next year, probably staying at The Lemon House again.

Wonderful hideaway 10 minutes from Dalyan. Beautiful pool. House unlike all the others as it has character and the best location. Excellent housekeeper who was warm and friendly and also knew when to keep her distance.

This was our third year in a row hiring a villa in/near Dalyan, and The Lemon House did not disappoint. Location is wonderful and everything was provided. Attention to detail was excellent. The unexpected bonus was having a housemaid come every day and clean and tidy for us. We also sampled one of her meals!

We'd spent months waiting for this holiday, and as it was our first time in a villa we were quite anxious - but the Lemon House exceeded our expectations in every way. Utterly lovely and tranquil - bathing in the ample pool whilst gazing out through the orange and lemon trees at the forested hills beyond (and watching the chickens!) - relaxing on the terrace with our evening meals (we cooked quite a bit) over a chilled Villa Dolucca - strolling along the country lanes where we could almost feel we 'got to know' some of the locals...and of course all the delights of nearby Dalyan.
Fatma, the maid, was absolutely wonderful, with her untiring hard work and pleasant smile, and her fantastic cooking which we sampled twice. Sometimes she'd turn up with fresh figs, oranges, peaches and grapes...pure joy!
- and we were priviliged enough to sit with her family drinking coffee at their home nearby.
We made a firm friend in TC (Turkish Cat) - a lovely little tom who became a sincere and affectionate villa-mate.
I was lucky enough to have my birthday whilst at the Lemon House...truly the icing on the cake!

A clean and well-equiped Villa in a peacefull location. Well situated for a short drive to local shops and resturants.
The swimming pool is a good size and maintained daily.
The housekeeper is wonderful.
The only slight drawback was the separate entrance to the twin bedroom which might worry young families.
Overall an execellent holiday experience .

loved the upstairs terrace in the house. like a secret hideaway. the photos of this house don't do it justice. lovely place, there really is nothing except lemon trees nearby.
BUT.....the mossies in Dalyan are abundant. Get the local stuff for spraying on your legs called KOV. Also we visited the ancient ruin of Kaunos very early in the morning. got someone to row us over the river for a couple of pounds and we had the place to ourselves which was magic.

Wonderful seclusion - a real get-away-from-it-all place. Big terrace which is good for barbeques and sunbathing.

Sir
I would like to inform you of the excellent service I received from your staff at the Lemon House. During my stay at the house I cut my hand quite badly on a knife and needed medical attention. Your housekeeper calmly helped me stop the bleeding and then immediately called the 24 hour duty mobile, where your English speaking staff were able to send a taxi straight to the house to take me to the spotless clinic in Dalyan. I was so impressed to be visited by one of your staff there (I think her name was Emine) to make sure I was ok.
I could not have expected this level of service and would like it to be noted how professional and kind everyone was to me. We will be back in Turkey in 2008 and hope we can stay in Kemaliye with you again.
Yours faithfully

We just wanted to thank you for our lovely holiday at the Lemon House. It was all we expected and more, a very special place away from all the brash tourism stuff but still very comfortable.
Fatma made us feel so welcome and we had long conversations with her in sign language as our Turkish is almost non existant. She became quite a friend, but she really understood when we wanted to be left alone to the peace and quiet.
We've left you our finished paperbacks in your 'library' and were grateful to be able to swap them with the ones there.
I do hope that we will have the chance to come to The Lemon House again.
Thanks once more

"Thanks for the a lovely stay at The Lemon House. You've thought of everything to make us feel welcome. We particularly appreciated the Welcome Pack when we arrived and we sat by the pool admiring the view and drinking your chilled wine. The kids loved the secret terrace upstairs and spent all their time up there hidden from our view when they weren't in the pool!
We'll be back."
