"The site is very well situated if you like nice views and charming country side. The property is spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the nine of us. The pool is well kept and I can mostly recommend the owners for their maintenance of the property and the amenities. There are plenty of nice things to visit in Umbria that are not too far away but a car is a must."

"Dear Massimo, we have arrived back in the day and miss you all very much. It was such a lovely holiday with you and we enjoy the beautiful pictures and memories. Very much we would like to come back next year, but unfortunately Susan and Tom probably dont go in holiday next year. "We planned a trip to beautful Italy and enjoyed every minute of our holiday and especially our stay at Poggio Turchino in the small hamlet of Collepepe , On arrival we were welcomed and warmly greeted by Massimo and Hulya who very kindly introduced us to our delightful villa which was spacious and exceptionally designed with amazing views across the tumbling hillsides of Umbria . The location was a superb base for travelling and ideally located for easy access to road and links to the whole of the center of Italy . We enjoyed trips to Rome and many of the amazing and very beautiful sites around the area and we very much enjoyed our time here , we very quickly fell in love with this wonderful place , I would especially like thank our hosts Massimo and Hulya for introducing us to the community of Collepepe and for the care of my family in both sickness and good health . We have very fond memories of our time spent at Poggio Turchino and would highly recommend this delightful place to you . Thankyou Massimo Thankyou Hulya ."

A modern and beautifully appointed Villa with lovely views of the Umbrian hills - but do not go in July & August when Italy is at its hottest - there is no air conditioning and the fans supplied in the villa cannot cope with the high temperatures. The owners gave a warm & friendly welcome but it can be a little disconcerting to have them (and their family) using the pool at the same time as you & other guests are! Our villa accommodated 9 comfortably (but uncomfortable in the heat!). The kitchen & dining rooms are fully equipped. The supermarket is a short drive away. Accidents happen & I was charged 10 euros for a broken glass & mug, which is perhaps a little steep considering they were from Ikea and cost 1 euro each, but then it is someone elses property. Just for info - the owners asked for a further 200 euro "breakages" deposit on arrival, as well as the "breakages" deposit paid on line, so be prepared!

I was largely satisfied by the quality of this beautiful villa. It met and exceeded all of my expectations. Everything was as described. The view is exquisite. Additionally, The owners and their son were both friendly and helpful in planning our trip. We would definitely recommend this villa to any of our friends planning a trip to Italy. It was an extraordinary experience and one that will not soon be forgotten by myself or the seven other members of my party who stayed there.
