We had a superb holiday. The villa had everything we needed and more.
The village is ideally situated in a quiet and rural area yet within easy reach of shops and a fabulous beach. The owner, Frankie, was very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and family and without doubt we will go back in 2012. 10/10!!

Beautifully maintained villa in an excellent location. Definitely need a car to get about but shops, restaurants, beach all a short distance away (5-10 minutes).

A superb property and managed by friendly and accomodating couple. Villa backs right onto the pool area and is well equipted with everything you could need for a great holiday. Although a car is essential to get to shops and amenities they are then in easy reach.
Clean and modern surroundings in peaceful location located close to many great golf courses and is highly recommended.
Loved the whole week.

This holiday was everything we hoped it would be and more. We have put the names of some good restaurants we found in your visitors book for your future guests. The children had a wonderful time in the pool and Lola, our youngest, said that she is going to come to live with you, as your house is nicer than ours!!! Not sure how you feel about that Frankie, having a 3 year old to foster?? Thanks for everything, you made us very welcome and were very helpful in arranging our trips. We will definately be back another year and recommend your village houses to others.
Love from us all, the Guery family

Its in a quiet place, everything has been done for us Some food in the fridge, some games for the children. The swimming pool is cool the only thing is you need a car to go to the beach but in 15 minutes you are in Lagos or portimao

Was very taken with the villa. Very clean and spacious. Swimming pool only feet away from the bedroom patios. Veiw overlooking the pool from the upstairs balcony. which was spacious and contained a large table an chairs which we often ate dinner at with a nice glass of portugeese wine. Well and for him his beer. Would definately recomend to friends and family. The owner was waiting on the door on our arrival. and called us during the week to check if we were happy and was there anything she could help with. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us to save us rushing to the shops. Loved the holiday, loved the villa and views. Nothing at all to complain about. will return. would say a car is a must. 40 min drive from airpot directions great. Thank you Frankie for a great Holiday.

This was my second visit to Casa Mimosa and it was even better that I had remembered. The villa is in a great location, with great views and terrific golf courses, beaches and restaurants close by.
The villa is modern, functional and extremely well equipped. It has a great feeling of space and comfort, and the pool just outside is superb!
Im looking forward to my next visit!

Directions to Villa were helpful & easy to follow. Excellent facilities in a beautiful & quiet location with plenty to see & do nearby (or just chill out on the balcony or by the pool!) We loved it & hope to re-visit soon.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

The villa is all you could hope for when going on holiday and more! Extremely well equipped to cater for all your needs. 'A home away from home' with the added bonus of sunshine and a beautiful pool inches from the verander. A place to relax in beautifully quiet surrounding but with the length and breadth of the Algarve within easy reach. I would fully recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to the Algerve.

The property was easy to find following the instructions provided. The accomodation is set in a perfect position overlooking the swimming pool with superb veiws of the surrounding countryside and the sea.
The accomodation itself it beautifully fitted and well equiped enough to take up permenant residence
Even though we were only there for a couple of days there was still a welcome pack provide which was very helpful.
The owners were very helpful, greeting us on arrival and providing more than enough information to make the stay memorable.
We will certainly trying to find the time to book another visit perhaps for longer this time, and would certainly recommend to family and friends

After a brief period of getting lost (due to darkness falling and us not quite getting the the directions correct) we arrived and was met by Les Dunn. Found the living area to be very spacious (good to have english channels - for the children and us!). Balcony was a good size and has the advantage of getting the sun all day. The villa has a good position, being directly in front of the swimming pool - which, although cold, provided a lot of entertainment. The complex was very peaceful when we went (October half-term). It was handy having the supermarket Carrefour nearby for essentials - but having the welcome pack was very useful. Kitchen is well equipped and it was nice having the choice whether to eat in or go out.
Frankie and Les were very helpful and took on board our suggestions regarding the directions. If we needed them they were always at the end of the phone.
Surrounding towns of Portimao and Sagos provided plenty of good restaurants and scenic views of harbour/marina. Empty motorway, lovely places to visit, plenty of warm sunshine, nice food at very reasonable prices, comfortable accommodation - what's not to like!
Thank you very much once again.

The first glimpse of the 'village' does not disappoint. The white painted villas set into the hillside is an appetiser for whats to come.
The villa is decorated to a very high standard which is matched by the fixtures and fittings. The balcony provides panoramic views across the valley the ideal place for breakfast and watching the sunset after a relaxing day at the pool or nearby beaches. Guests are provided with all the comforts of home, from dressing gowns, to the welcome pack, all provided by the owners to pamper you.
The villa is ideally located in a serine, quiet location, relax at the pool 10 steps from the villa, or within 10 minutes you can be sitting on a local beach or playing golf at a championship course, In 15 minutes you have the towns of Alvor to the east and Lagos to the west. Both have miles of sandy beach with restaurants and bars offering light lunches to high quality evening meals.
From arrival to leaving, the owners are at hand and Les is only too pleased to show you the local golf courses hole by hole ofcourse!
In conclusion the owners have gone out of their way to provide a high quality villa ensuring a comfortable relaxing stay for their guest (s), and are always on hand to profer advice from restaurants to supermakets, and ofcourse golf courses.
Many thanks for a wonderful week.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mimosa and would recommend it to our friends and family the villa was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch as we were late arriving. The gardens and pool were delightful, in fact the pool was bigger than Iwas expecting so was great for a really good swin. Thank you to Les for all his care and help.

The Village house was furnished to a very high standard and the whole development was very well laid out.
I have recommended it to friends already and will be back next year with my children who i'm sure would love it.
Lagos is a great town and the surrounding countryside offers a lot for the seasoned traveller or first time visitor to Portugal.
Highly recommended!

This is a lovely villa. Really well laid out, furnished to an extremely high standard.
The fact that the bedrooms are on the lower floor really works, as this keeps them cool at night. It also allows you to wake up in the morning and walk straight out to the pool (nice touch).
Large dinning/living and seperate large kitchen with all mod cons on the first floor. The balcony is great, plenty of space (come places which advertise a balcony, when is reality it is only a ledge). You can comfortably sit out, have dinner for 6 and enjoy the views.
Villa set in nice little development, easy access to motorway, although still very quiet. 10 mins from the beach and the best grilled prawns you can buy.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Casa Mimosa. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. The children enjoyed playing in the pool and with the beach only a five minute drive away, the location was perfect.
We enjoyed the tranquility of the village, yet a short drive took you to bustling seaside towns.
One note, however, you will need to hire a car.
Perfect Holiday! We will be coming back.
