Exactly what we wanted. Description on website was honest and exactly what we found. The owners, Mike and Anna were there to help but not intrusive.
Property was clean and extremely well equipped.
Pool was well maintained and clean.
Track up to the villa is narrow and steep but once you are familiar with it becomes quite fun!
We would gladly return here.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Vistamare. Our visit was during the first week in August. The villa could not have been more comfortable, and the assistance offered by Mike and Anna was so helpful. I loved having groceries stocked when we arrived, so we were able to put together a delicious supper on our first night when we were tired from travel. The highlights were definitely the kitchen, with the view through the open doors to the pool, then the extended view to the expanse of the Tyrrhenian sea. Gorgeous! Delightful to wake up to spectacular weather every day, go into the kitchen, brew espresso and make toast from the fabulous Italian bread, and wander out to the pool. The location is great and we were able to see all of the sights and sample many beaches from our location in Panza. The price for such a wonderful spot is exceptionally reasonable. We will be back !

We had an amazing time here and would absolutely recommend it. I dont think we moved for the whole 10 days, apart from visiting the local supermarket to stock up on delicious food and drink.
Mike and Anna were wonderful and even brought us some beautiful cakes to enjoy after a visit to the local town. Mike picked us up and dro pped us off at various places, for which we were very grateful.
If you are looking for a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. Breathtaking views and a beautiful property - you cant ask for more.
Thanks again for a wonderful stay - well be back!

This was a fabulous apartment up on the side of the mountain (part of the old volcano) on the prettier and slightly quieter side of Ischia. Michael and Anna were absolutely fantastic hosts. They were there to welcome us on our arrival and were on hand if ever needed. Otherwise they left us to enjoy the spacious, well kept and well provisioned apartment and pool. (The pool by the way is great and cleaned every other day). We were particularly grateful to them for allowing us access to their internet to find out about our daughters exam results - many thanks.
The apartment itself is situated close to Panza which is walking distance although the hill is a bit steep on the return leg. Excellent beaches are close by. The lane up to the apartment is very narrow and steep so hire a car that is not too wide. We had a Fiat Punto which worked fine for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The view from the apartment is stunning and the sunsets amazing.
All in all I would definitely come back again.

The owners of this villa, Mike and Anna, could not have been more helpful - even running us to the doctor when the children had ear infections. The pool was beautifully kept and a joy to swim in. The villa itself had everything you could possibly need and was very clean - although an internet connection would have been really useful. I would recommend this to a friend but would point out that without a car it is a long climb back to the villa from the shops and bus stop.

The property was lovely. Throughout was very clean and there was a good pool and patio area. Michael the owner could not have been more helpful and really made a difference. You will need a car, as you will with most places on Ischia. A lovely villa and would recommend it to friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Vistamare.
The apartment was fantastic, and to be fair the photographs shown on the site are unable to do it justice. The apartment is spacious and luxurious, providing everything you would need.
The pool and outside area with its beautifull view was where we spent the majority of our days and was perfect for ourselves and our 12 year old son.
If you are not keen or able to walk up and down a steep hill I would advise hiring a SMALL car. We did not and although it wasnt a breeze it was a source of amusement !
The local town of Panza is convenient with an excellent Pizzeria, however the town of Forio (a very short bus ride away) was much more to our tastes, vibrant atmosphere with excellent restaurants and souvenier shops.
The owners Mike and Anna were extreemly helpfull without being intrusive. Mike organised our trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius which should not be missed.

We enjoyed an excellent holiday at the Casavistamare. Mike and Anna were very welcoming and ensured that our stay was a memorable one. They were both more than helpful.
The location benefits from spectacular views, sunsets and peace and quite. The house and pool are both excellent and even the walk up the hill was a source of family entertainment!
The nearby village of Panza was an ununexpected bonus as it retains the essence of an unspoilt Italian village whilst being very close to some spectacular tourist spots.
We would not hesitate to recommend the property or the location.

I cannot recomend this villa highly enough. Michael Burrows the owner, could not have been kinder, nor more helpful. We only rented the lower half of the villa which has a delightful terrace and pool with stunning views of the sea. The villa is well equipped, clean and all mod cons provided. All the basics were there and more. We had a fantastic holiday and explored the whole of Ischia.
We hired a car, which Michael arranged for us. A Fiat Panda. The drive up to the villa is steep and very, very narrow and we would not have wanted a larger car. Only drive if you have nerves of steel. The local dogs have better road sense than the pedestrians and expect the mopeds and cars to do the opposite of what you would expect. However you soon get the hang of it and I would not have wanted to walk up the track in the heat. Very good supermarket at the bottom of the track, though we also shopped in excellant small shops in Panza and Forio.
