A beautiful villa in a handy location for Dubrovnik. The villa was well appointed with everything you could need during your stay. The onwers were very helpful and made sure we had all we needed including charcoal for the barbecue. Really spacious inside and the outside area is great for Al Fresco dining. The little jetty for swimming and sunbathing by the sea was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa to anyone. September 2012.

The property exceeded our expectations - the photographs do not do it justice. The property is very spacious and the outdoor dining and seating areas are fantastic. We received a very warm welcome and our hosts were very helpful.

We have just returned from an amazing holiday at villa frana, the place was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean well equipped and the location was good. The owner gave us a contact number for a taxi all we had to do was text, they were very reliable. The owners were very pleasant and gave us lots of information, they were only a call away if we needed them. The welcome pack was great well worth it.We were a group of eight adults and we will most defiinitely return.

This place is simply amazing. From start to finish we were treated with amazing hospitality. Picked up from the airport in two top class cars with friendly drivers then met at the villa by the owner and his wife.
They simply could not do enough for us.
The villa itself is about 10 times nicer than the pictures make out. It is clean, in great condition with everything you need.
Chilling by the pool all day or swimming off the private jetty to the sea this place really is perfect.
There was eight in our group and we had everything we needed and within plenty of space.
I would suggest getting the cars to pick you up from the airport when you book and get their card to text them when you need a taxi from wherever.
Going on a boat trip is a must around the islands, this was amazing and did not cost the earth.
Take the cable car to the top of the hill to get a view of the sunset.
Walk the walls and find the Buza bar for an amazing view of the sea.
I have already started looking when this villa is free for this year and will be back for sure.
I cannot thank this amazing family enough for making our holiday one never to forget in their amazing villa.
I will upload some pictures when I have chance.

We had a great holiday here. The pictures dont do the place justice- the pool and the outdoor areas are excellent and the house was spotless! The owners were lovely and extremely helpful, and we will be back next year.

The villa was excellent. We all enjoyed our stay greatly in the villa and the surrounding area. The villa owners very helpful. The place was spotlessly clean. Only small downside was the number of mosquitos. Come prepared with bug spray!

We had a wonderful time at the villa. We were there in the last week of August early Sep and the weather was fabulous. We were 6 in total but the villa ould sleep many more. We were well looked after by the owner and all comms were excellent everything from transfers to minor issue with the TV I could not fault the hospitality in anyway. The villa was immaculate and very clean. The welcome pack we ordered was also excellent and was ideal as we arrived quite late that evening. I would definitely recommend hiring the boat for a day to take you around the islands. Ask the owner and he will give a contact number - this must have been the highlight by a long shot - jumping into clear blue waters and swimming to the island for a nice chill on the beach for a drink etc and then off to another island for the best seasfood I have tasted - just magical. Only downside is and we couldnt figure out why is that there are quite a few mosqitoes around so just make sure you spray yourself silly or cover up. Again a minor drawback in my mind - we all had a great time and I would recommend this villa to anyone. Its a nice distance away from the main hussle and bustle and exceeded my expectations. Thanks again for a great time. Kind Regards - Chris

The villa is nicely located, short distance from Dubrovnik center. The house is beautiful, pool is clean and the fenced yard is very nice. Apricots, oranges, mandarins and plums are growint in the yard. Its beautifully lit in the evening and its nice sit there with friends or family. Bedrooms are spacious enough and there are two kitchens and two bathrooms. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Thats a big +++.
Some negative aspects: theres quite a lot of traffic on the road and the noises are sometimes disturbing. Its quite difficult to drive to the street from the parking place because of poor visibility and the locals are driving high speed. Quite a lot of mosquitoes and flies in the garden.
But overall it was very nice place to stay with small children and several adults. Deifintely would stay there again.

The villa is beautiful, very modern and extremely clean. Perfectly located with plenty of space and eating areas for 8 adults! The local shop that seems to stock everything is about half a mile to one miles walk where there is also a bus stop with buses every 15 minutes into Dubrovnik which takes about half an hour. No great bars or restaurants locally but with the regularity of the bus to Dubrovnik this is not a problem. Well recommended!!!

Had a great week in Dubrovnik, excellent villa.
Excellent points:- Facilities, hospitability, spacious rooms, views over to the sea, cleanliness, amenities, the list goes on….
Not so good points was a £15-20 taxi ride to Dubrovnik old town (only 3 miles but taxi’s are expensive in Dubrovnik) also it was on a busy road but to be fair a main bridge was closed for repair for 20 days during our stay and have been told the road is a lot lot quieter when road is not used as a divert road. Still very safe for children as there are many gates, doors and main wall to prevent children from accessing the road.
Overall and excellent week at the beautiful Dubrovnik and excellent Villa Frana with the very friendly Croatian people. Would defiantly recommend to friends and family.

Villa Frana is a lovely house with lovely views of the river. It is very spacious, set out over two floors. We were welcomed by the owners who were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a great welcome pack which we had pre booked but far exceded our expectations. The villa is about half an hour by bus from the old town but buses run regularly . The villa is very well equiped with everything you need to cook a meal. All in all we had a great time staying at the villa and if we visit Dubrovnik again would definately return to Villa Frana.

Zoe says: Wanted to let you know that we had a terrific time in Dubrovnik. This was a perfect setting for a family reunion. The house was perfect! Simultaneously is clean and comfortable. It was very difficult to leave and come home.
