Great property, lovely and clean and close enough to the centre of town to walk (aprox 7 mins) but far enough away to be nice and peaceful. The Dalyan selec t office round the corner who organised the transfers and welcome pack were really friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that shortly after booking and reading the reviews I emailed Richard to ask about the situation with the sunbeds as someone had written there wasnt enough. He told me that this wasnt a problem anymore. In actual fact it is still a problem as there is only 6 sunbeds for 4 appartments that can hold up to 4 people each. Our first few days were fine but then all the appartments became full so it was a case of 6 sunbeds between 15 people which obviously doesnt work out.. There isnt enough space at the pool for 16 sunbeds but there is garden space where they could be placed. I hope this hasnt put anyone off as I would still reccommend the appartment as overall it was fantastic but I do expect that if I am renting an appartment with a pool then I expect there to be adequate sunbeds, expecially when I ask in advance and am told thats its not a problem.

The Storks Nest apartment is less than five minutes walk away from the charming town square of Dalyan, nearby are shops, restaurants and bars. We (two adults and a 12 year old) stayed in the top left apartment and found it clean, spacious and very well equipped.
All rooms came with air con (very neccesary in August!), the shared pool is large and kept clean everything you could need for a self catering holiday is provided.
All the locals we met we friendly and welcoming, a visit to the Seabreeze cafe is a must as are the boat trips which can be booked by the river.
This has been our second visit to Dalyan and i dont think it will be our last. Absolutely loved it and we recommend to everyone!

modern clean apartment with well maintained pool and garden. A short walk from shops and restaurants, but quiet at night. Lovely beach reached either by public boat or bus, no need to hire a car. We will definately return one day. Kim and Richard very friendly and obliging

Just arrived back having stayed at the property for 16 days. The property is the Upper floor LH Side in the picture and is part of a block of 4 apartments. Excellent position with town only a few minutes walk away, supermarket within about 50 mtrs. Apartment has an open plan kitchen / diner, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Ideal for family of 4 or for a couple wanting a break in Turkey. The washing machine is downstairs in the hall way and shared by the apartments. Ideal for washing your towels and beach clothes. The pool is a good size and to the side of the property. The pool man was there every day ensuring pool was filled, cleaned etc. The gardens were also well maintained.
3 negatives (thats all I could find and I am fussy!) - If all 4 apartments are occupied, there are insufficient sun loungers or infact space. Also the kettle was not sufficient for more than 2 cups at a time and there is no toaster, although you can use the oven, there are no instructions.
Please dont let the negatives put you off, as this is an excellent, well placed property, ideal for a Turkish holiday.
Richard and Kim visited frequently to ensure there were no problems and advise different things to do - Thanks. There is also a booklet with ideas / advice left in the apartment.

Lovely apartment - modern, clean, good air-conditioning, lovely pool and as close to centre as advertised.
Richard & Kim thanks for your friendly advice and excellent local tips - especially water wall! and getting hired scooters across the river on Capt Hassans boat!
Impossible not to enjoy a place like this.

The Storks Nest apartment in Dalayan was an excellent place to stay. The accommodation was lovely - we had the pool for the 1st week totally to ourselves and in the 2nd week we met a lovely family from Germany who stayed in one of the 4 apartments - they were great company. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and the washing machine was a great asset. It enabled us to reduce our luggage for the flight.
We made great use of the BBQ in the garden althoug the apartment is very centrally located with many cheap and good quality restaurants minutes away. There are 4 good supermarkets within a stones throw away and the Saturday market is just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is 10 minutes walk from the riverfront / main square and by the end of the 2 weeks it took more like an hour to get here by the time we had chatted to the many friendly people we made friends with during our stay.
Dalayan is a very beautiful place to vist - excellent beach - 30minutes by boat and a beautiful journey passing the rock tombs etc on route. There is an abundance of wildlife and we spotted the famous Caretta Caretta turtle several times on the jurney. If you enjoy scenery and wildlife you will love Dalayan. The historic ruins of Canos is also worth a vist. We are the sort of people who would hire a car on holiday but this is not necessary as there are many attractions within easy reach. The mud baths and Spa at Sultanya are also a good place to visit as is the Ley Ley and Golbasi restaurants. Both restaurants send minibuses to pick you up and leave you back - they are good value and lovely settings for a meal. - Overall 10 out of 10 for the accommodation and the resort - hope to be back again.

This apartment and its location are fantastic! It really is just five minutes walk from the town centre, and Dalyan is a lovely place. Not too big, and plenty of nice restaurants to eat at and plenty of boat tours to go on, with activites including mud baths, turkish baths, visiting ancient Roman ruins and seeing natural wildlife like Med turtles, so easily more than enough for a week! Richard and Kim were very helpful and they make sure you are ok during your visit which was comforting. In the town centre has mini-buses to lots of places nearby too, so its not like youre stuck. Plus I found it to be cooler than I expected, being by the coast and in a river valley. Would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent apartment, modern, clean and spacious. Located in a quiet area and only a 5 minute walk into town. Communication with Richard and Kim was very good, very friendly and always keen to assist. This was our 2nd visit to Dalyan and it won’t be the last. Already recommended this apartment to friends and family.

We were very pleased with the location of the Apartment, just a five minute walk and you are in town, this was a fact .
The Storks nest gave us endless fun hoping the four babies might fly for the first time.
Everything was very modern and Clean. We could not want for more.
Kim and Richard were Excellent nothing was too much trouble.Thank you.
The only problem was that we had to come home we will be back soon.
My friend and I have been to Dalyan many times but it was my Mums first time and she was very impressed.

The Apartment was very tastefully furnished, in a great central location. It was very clean and comfortable. It had all the facilities that we required. The Pool and Garden area were laid out and looked after very well. We had wonderful views of the Mountains in several directions.
Dalyan itself we found to be very beautiful and picturesque with everything you need for a perfect holiday.
We were very well looked after by the English couple (Richard and Kim) that manage these Apartments and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We are already planning our next visit to this Apartment and would not hesitate in recommending it to our friends and family.
We only wished we could have stayed longer!
