Lovely apartment in a great location with excellent views! Aircom was a dream! Local contact was easy to contact and did everything he could to help us enjoy our trip. lots of good restaurants locally (turn left as you walk into the marina!) Having travelled along the strip (by bike, check the local tourist office) this is the best area of the strip, with a very good supermarket across the road. The area is quiet and relaxing, little nightlife but we did research this and it was expected. We didnt need a car but would recommend if you want to explore the local area.
Great value, we enjoyed out trip and would go back again, thanks!

For us as a family with three children aged 12,13 & 15 it is the location and layout of this property that is a real winner. The roof top terrace was a great escape for parents whilst still being able to keep an eye on things. The apartment looks directly over the pool so it means that you can supervise older children from the balcony. For us the pool was perfect. The kids were allowed to take suitable inflatables in the pool and as long as they were respectful to others they swam until midnight with no complaints from anyone. The property is directly across the road from a supermarket and some restaurants (including Burger King)which allowed our children some freedom and the chance to try out their Spanish. From this location you are in easy reach of the Med with big waves and body boarding for older kids or the more tranquil Mar Menor for a gentle swim. The owner of the property was friendly and helpful. The apartment is modern and bright and the separate room air conditioning is a bonus.

Very clean. Shared pool was great-a small pool that was like a bath for really small children and larger pool was an equally great pool being a good temperature. Roof terrace was fantastic being very spacious and offering some shade as well as much sun. Fabulous supermarket opposite and lots of restaurants locally. Walking distance to ferry to take to San Javier which was an added bonus. No need really to rent a car!

the property is in an exellent location close to all amenites There is a selection of good bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The apartmebnt is well equipped and the rooftop barbecue is a fantastic asset. The apartment allows flexibility for people of all ages. The owner has an excellent resort manager who assists with any problems. We did not have any.All aspects of the holiday went without a hitch. I would recommend any one to try this apartment.

The property was in an excellent location was well equipped close to the Mar Menor and the med. Within walking distance of restaurants and supermarkets. The roofspace was excellent and we had many happy hours sunbathing and cooking barbecues and socialising as a family. The resort is relaxing, clean and safe the children could walk around on their own and we will be returning hopefully next year
Review submitted by Malachy from Appartment 40 Frente Marino, La Manga, Spain (Submitted: 28 Jul 2006)
The Apartment was excellent. It had everything and more that a family required for an enjoyable holiday - sunroof, barbecue, washing machine, DVD player and English news channels on satellite TV. When initially arriving further down La Manga strip we were disappointed with the planning and standard of some of the hotel developments but this could not be said of Frente Marino: low level apartments in a beautiful setting wit the bonus of the Tomas Maestre Marina on your doorstep. The resort is perfect for a relaxing break tor recharge the batteries but families with thenage children may think it a little on the quiet side.
We have already recommended 40 Frente Marino to a number of our friends!

Wow, what a view! The apartment overlooks the Med and the Mar menor, which is a lovely sight to see on a beautiful hot sunny day.
The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more.
The only downside was when I bumped into the closed patio door - ouch! Some stickers on the windows would be good so that daft people like me dont walk into them. Apart from the bruise on my nose - we all had a fantistic time - definitely recommended!

The property itself was fabulous, plenty of space, great appliances and the private rooftop made for excellent dining, sun-bathing and star-gazing. Both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean were extremely convenient, the highlight being the natural clay spa only a couple of km away.
The general area was more geared toward family vacationing. Overall, the restaurants within walking distance were lack-luster, with much better cuisine and nightlife to be found at the beginning of the strip near the lighthouse. There was one authentic Spanish restaurant further out on the strip, but that was the only one.
This would be the ideal location for either families, or those seeking absolute relaxation.

This was my first time to La Manga and being surrounded by seas made it feel like we were on an island of our own.
The marina is so pretty with lovely bars and restaurants - not too busy and commercialised which was nice. We had great Paella in Cabo de Palos and found a nice restaurant on the beach near to the new golf course - it had a great romantic setting.
Murcia is a lovely cosmopolitan city with beautiful historical buildings.
The apartment was well equipped and the roof terrace was ideal for private sunbathing and BBQ's
All round, we had a great holiday with a truly Spanish feel, I would definitiely come back

Great apartment. Great sunbathing & BBQ's on roof solarium - it makes such a difference to have your own private space.
The marina has a number of nice restaurants - I will definitely return next year as this resort is definitely an up and coming place to holiday.
