Property and local area description

Location

You could not really ask for a better location for all that Zell am See has to offer. Its a really beautiful resort with excellent local sking and access to all year round skiing on the glacier. The apartment is less than 100 metres to the new lift station and 250 metres to the lakeside. Its on a quiet road, off the main drag so nice and quiet but still very close to the shops and restaurants. There is a small supermarket and bakery just 50 metres away and plenty of restaurants and shops within 100 metres. In the summer, there is also a lot to do and the closeness to the lakeside is a real asset, making this a popular year-round apartment.

Facilities
There is a ski storage room in the basement, plus a guests laundry which is coin operated. There is a lift to all floors. There is limited parking in the street outside but ample parking in the undergound pay car park which is very close by.

Accommodation
The apartment has a spacious entrance hall/lobby, a very well equipped modern kitchen with microwave, full oven and hob, toaster, electric kettle and all cooking and kitchen items. The bathroom is equipped with bath and shower and wash basin plus storage. There is a separate toilet with handbasin. The lounge/diner is light and spacious with dining/breakfast bar seating up to 5 persons, comfortable double sofa bed and single sofa bed, TV, DVD, coffee tables and lots of storage for those sleeping on the sofa beds. The double bedroom is spacious and can accommodate the single sofa bed as well as the double bed plus a cot if required. It is ideal for 2 couples or a small family but not for single sex groups.

This is a really nice modern apartment, newly furnished and in an absolutely perfect location for everything Zell has to offer.

The accommodation in total measures around 45m2 and feels spacious and light.

Notes

Zell has excellent swimming pools, both indoor and out, with saunas and steam room etc. For just 15 euros per week for adults, guests can have unlimited use of pools and steamroom etc with a lift pass. Lift passes etc are all half price for children up to the age of 16. By the lakeside, there are pools and good family facilities, available at very reduced rates with local bus and lift pass in summer.

Good location, quiet, clean. We appreciated a lot of space to put things (wardrobe, shelves), however we (4 adults) lacked a comfortable chairs, armchairs or setee to watch TV in the evening. Maria Jakubickova

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in zell, it has been our 4th now, and this was by far the best location we had stayed. It was close to everything you needed yet there was very little noise. The apartment was in good condition and very clean on arrival. Id say it would be a bit cramped if 5 people were to stay there, but if you just need a place to sleep and eat its brilliant! There were two of us and the space was very suitable for us. Overall this property was excellent and we had a fantastic time!
