The villa was lovely and we had a great family holiday.Ruth & Ken could not have been more helpful.The villa and pool were lovely.My constructive criticisms are : air conditioning throughout would have been beneficial - we knew that only one bedroom and lounge were equipped before we booked - we didnt anticipate it being so hot in early July.The barbeque was good but a bit remote from the villa.Finally a covered sitting and dining area would have been desirable.
Despite the above we would return to this lovely part of Spain - for car drivers the journey from Santander was a breeze requiring only one stop say around Madrid area.Once again thanks to Ruth and Ken.

This was a great villa and we had the most relaxing week here. Exactly as you see it in the pictures, has everything you need. We hardly left the villa and spent the days in/by the pool and the nights outside having bbqs and drinks.
Ruth and Ken were very good hosts, met us on arrival and departure and were available for any help as needed during our stay. We would definitely return to this villa.

Bill and I stayed at the Villa for 7 days starting on the 2nd July 2011. The villa is about 3 miles out of Jaeva town down a quiet cul de sac. The accommdation is great. Bedrooms, lounge area, dinning and kitchen are all clean and up to date.
The pool and patio area are fantastic. The views are all the way to the mountains and down a very green valley. The views from the kitchen and bathrooms are spectacular right under the mountain Montago.
The villa is for couples and families who like space, peace and quiet yet not far from some great "eaty places"
The services from Ruth and Ken were excellent open and apporachable people who love to help.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday to Villa Oro Rayo and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The Villa is set in a perfect location and you can just relax, chill out and while away the hours in the sunshine, of which we had an abundance of! It is very spacious and well decorated and has all the mod cons you could need. The Pool area is lovely and has the sun on it all day. Javea town is only a 10-15 minute drive away and has some lovely restaurants on the Arenal and at the harbour. Over all the whole holiday was fantastic 10/10.

What a great place! We were really pleased to see Oro Rayo at the end of our days traveling and that it was in such a great location for peace and quiet. The kids played day and night in the pool and enjoyed playing in the grounds. It was a truly relaxing break for us and with great views across the valley to take in. We almost had to make up reasons to leave the villa as it was too easy to kick back and enjoy the day without even venturing of the property. The villa itself was roomy,clean and well looked after with everything we needed for our stay. Looking forward to 2010 already!

We knew Javea before we travelled so had a good idea of the villas location. The villa is in a wonderful location with wonderful views of Montgo. The villa is very pretty with a nice garden and a lovely pool area. The only downside was the barbeque that was unusable - however the lovely restuarants made up for it.

An excellent time had by the whole family, the swimming pool was used extensively used by all of us. Great facilities throughout the villa, with a local supermarket, well stocked and priced. Ken & Ruth were easily contactable and any problems were dealt with quickly.
Overall a highly recommended villa, would love to have stayed longer

Ruth, I would just like to say a big thank you, for the lovely welcome, the beautiful villa and introducing us to Melvyn our faithful taxi driver! We all had a fantastic time at Oro Rayo, the weather was terrific and our stay too short!

When i decided to book villa for july it was late june, so i tried to find good villa for affordable price and i found "Villa Oro Rayo"
This villa is realy has good and very nice location at the beginning of Montgo mountain, interior very fine and villa very clean.
So i will recommend it to anyone who want to spend not forgetable vacations in Spain;)

A beautiful property with everything you could need. Very private with a fantastic pool and south facing outdoor living area.
You definitely need a car as probably only the local supermarket is within realistic walking distance.
Ross was very helpful and his tour & tips on Javea and restaurants was very useful.
Drive from Allicante is interesting and there are water & theme parks within about 35 mins drivw.
overall we had a fantastic holiday and the kids enjoyed the pool in particular.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Villa. There were 4 Adults and our Grandaugter. Nice and quiet and private. A well maintained property definitly exceeded expection .The Lemon tree was well used by wife & daughter.. Gin & and fresh lemon juice. A safe environment for little one to play taking the usual precautions re the pool. we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning if possible. A nice area for beach & restraunts etc.

We had a wonderful holiday here.the villa exceeded our expectations.Everthing you would expect from a first class villa.
The views and location were fantastic and within easy travelling distance to restaurants with a supermarket being 200 metres away.
We will definately return here again and would recommend this villa with no hesitation!!!

This is a very well maintained villa, sitting at the foot of the Montgo Mountain. The villa was clean, tidy and furnished to a good standard. Kitchen & bathrooms were all to a good standard.
Sky television was not good due to very poor reception. Overall, a very nice villa.

We were very impressed with the villa, it is in an excellent location, covenient for all amenities, yet very quiet & private. The condition of the villa is very good, very clean & well furnished, we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to this villa.

The villa was everything we hoped for. The accomodation is superb (luxurious even) and the setting beautiful. The owner is more than accomodating and determined to make the holiday memorable for all the right reasons. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

We were looking for a villa that offered privacy, away from the biz but within striking distance of good restaurants and beaches. We got all of these, together with an extremely well furnished villa, beautiful pool area and very helpful owners. Well done Rossand Sigi - full marks!

Just about everything you would want from a private villa. Well apportioned, stylishly furnished and decorated. Superb views of Montgo and great location near to Javea. Local restaurants were great value. Thoroughly recommended.

This villa is so nice we didn't want to leave it! Lovely pool, garden, decor and very pleasant helpful owner. The villa is nicely secluded. Lemon tree (and others) in the garden, perfect for the gin and tonic! Javea is lovely with nice restaurants in the beach and port area and also nice restaurants near the villa. Highly recommended.

My wife and I enjoyed a week-long stay in the villa Oro Rayo. We were pleasantly surprised by the immaculate condition of the villa's interior and exterior. The fittings and furnishings throughout showed care and consideration for the needs of visitors. The three strongest points for us were the total privacy the villa offered, it's close proximity to the charming town of Javea and the inspiring views of Mount Montgo. Thoroughly recommended to those seeking a villa for their Spanish holiday.

We had a wonderful holiday at Oro Rayo, the Villa is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, you are close to a few restaurants and a supermarket and still have total privicy and fantastic views.
The Villa is of excellent quality and was spotless.
We will be returning later in the year.
