Arriving at this rural hamlet property was a delight as we were looking for a peaceful retreat and that is exactly what you get here!
The wildlife surrounding the immediate area was a wonder to watch and we found the local residents very accommodating and friendly.
The cottage itself is spacious and well furnished and the finer detailing has been well addressed.
The availability of shower or bath tub was a welcome option and both were clean and well functioning .
Shopping was nearby but a car is really needed to access the supermarkets.
There were books, dvds etc which were welcome.....though a peaceful garden was really the key entertainment for us :0)
Overall we really enjoyed our stay were delighted with the accommodation.

This property is excellent. Very clean, newly decorated and very well equipped. Well placed for travelling around and very comfortable for returning to and relaxing in an evening. Really good bar within 5 minute drive, about 15 min walk , also two excellent restaurants. Very close to Vouvant, a medieval village and we drove to the beach one day. Took us about 1hr 30min. If you don't want to travel about , the garden at the property is ideal for relaxing and plenty of b.b.q area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
