This property provided us with exactly what we were looking for. A degree of privacy, helpful owners on-site and even a stack of logs for when the weather turned unseasonally chilly. Lubrin was a lovely little town. Booked to go back in August.

John and Mair are very friendly and helpful hosts with two quiet and friendly dogs. They are always ready to give advice on the local area and provided a generous welcome pack of breakfast items and local produce. The pool is always clean and ready to use at any time.
Casita Musica is a secluded one-bedroom cottage at the end of the garden with lovely views, a small sun-terrace and an outside eating area. We are two friends rather than a couple so I used the very comfortable sofa-bed. Everything we needed was provided including plenty of towels and useful tourist information.

We were a bit early for the pool but cottage was equipped with a log burner and was very cosy in the cooler evenings. We were well looked after and enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful.

I am very glad I chose to spend a week at Casita Musica on the edge of Lubrin - and by luck I timed it just right - the weather was good, the countryside full of wildflowers, and I arrived just the day before the excellent village market -with stalls all along the streets (my welcome pack provided sufficient for me to leave shopping till the day after my arrival). Lubrín is a very nice unspoilt Spanish town, and relatively easily accessible to people like me who travel by public transport and the accommodation is only a short (5 min) walk from the town. l very much enjoyed my stay in my cottage with the terrace and garden and views - it was very spacious and clean and comfortable and had a wonderful wood stove for the cooler evenings. I undertook and enjoyed all of the walks around Lubrín - the special thing about the area being all the ramblas (dried up river beds) used as roads and tracks....I did not eat out (having bought so much food at the market stalls), but the bars/cafes I went to for coffees or drinks on my way back from my walks were very pleasant and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Casita Musica at the beginning of May 2012. We received a warm welcome from John & Mair. Arriving on a Sunday, with supermarkets closed, the generous welcome pack of wine/cold meat/cheeses, etc was very much appreciated. The location had memorable views and was within easy walking distance of Lubrin village. The information packs for the self-guided walks provided by John & Mair were very informative. We completed 4 of the 5 suggested walks taking in the local surroundings. The local bars and restaurants provided us with excellent food and value for money - we particularly enjoyed La Cueva and El Molino.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casita Musica in mid October. Weather was ideal, allowing us to enjoy swimming at the lovely local beaches and walking in the hills around the apartment using the detailed maps supplied in the apartment. John and Mair were very welcoming and helpful hosts. It is the perfect place to stay and visit unspoilt Andalucia.

We had one of our happiest holidays here! The setting of Casita Musica is even lovelier than the photos, lovely terraces, fabulous pool, and great views. We were delighted to receive such a generous welcome pack on our arrival, and a warm welcome from our hosts. Like other visitors have said, it was a very relaxing place to be, sitting aside surely one of the most picturesque villages in Spain, the lovely, and very friendly Lubrin. Lubrin has all you need with really good local shops and very reasonable places to eat, and a great local market for bargains on a Wednesday! The area has other great places to visit within the hour, the beautiful coastline, and villages with other great places to eat. It was a Spanish Idyll and we would love to come back and stay again.

Have stayed for the last three years and about to go back for a fourth time (still finding it fun to explore surrounding villages and coastline). We love the the unspoilt location which offers a range of options. The privacy of the accommodation offers plenty of relaxation sat in the garden or by the pool sunbathing. Alternatively you can travel the 40/50 minutes to a number of quite spanish seaside resorts. In the evening we loved to walk the few minutes into the town of Lubrin for a drink sat in the square. Would recommend a visit if your looking to chill big time.Hicks

It was wonderful to wake up to silence in the morning. I slept so well that after a couple of nights I felt as though I had been on holiday for a fortnight. The apartment had everything that a guest could need, including a friendly welcome. I have stayed at Fuente arriba a number of times and will stay there again. I love the fact that its off the beaten track and feel as though Im in on a secret because I know of its existence.

Just a wonderful place to relax and unwind, the owners go out of there way to make sure you stay is a most enjoyable experance. Lubrin is a charming and authentic Spanish village with a number of fine bars and resaurants. There are some wondeful beaches less then 1 hour away, spend a day on the beach then return in the night and enjoy a barbeque with a bottle of wine and just relax and unwind.

We really liked Lubrin and the location was great. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, and really suited our needs. We had two areas in which to enjoy either the morning or afternoon sun and listening to the passing goats bells and the goat herder was really nice. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful and we would certainly go back if we get the chance to travel there again.

We was looked after very well, the views were very peasefull, and the cottage was cosy but roomy, the drive to the property was a bit bumpy, and the town was easy the walk to if you dont mind hills,

My wife and I went to Lubrin with an open mind. After the first 24 hrs we both realised we had made a excellent choice.Location was ideal and the property was excellent, our hosts could not have been more helpful and they went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable. Lubrin is a real piece of Spain, and is a typical white village and the locals were friendly. We enjoyed the walks in the area and travelled to a number of lovely beaches within an hour of the property. It is also a good base for travelling to other parts of Andalucia and beyond.
