This property was much bigger than expected, with 3 separate eating areas we were spoilt for choice, excellent facilities and little extras like ice packs and cool packs to borrow exceptionally useful. The Property was very clean and modern. The Pool was great with plenty of pool toys and sun loungers. It was so peaceful. The property was also very secure.
A car is essential but the drive to beaches and town less than 10 minutes.
We were looked after by Adrian who provided us with excellent service and knowledge of the area, he arranged a trip to see dolphins for us and brought the tickets to the villa for us - First Rate !! and a really nice friendly man.
We had an excellent holiday here and were very sad to leave.

This villa was even better than it looked in the pictures. Tina, the owner, was very helpful in her emails before we arrived and even left us some food in the fridge. The manager was very friendly and the pool cleaner too! The villa was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We were really sad to leave.

A great villa, better than the photos. Lovely pool. Quiet location but only 10 mins easy drive into lagos, which has plenty of resturants and small shops to visit in the evenings. The villa has everything you will need, towels changed regularly and the pool man/gardener visited twice a week. Would highly recommend this villa.

The villa is beautiful. It is very spacious and wonderfully equipped. It also very clean. I would return to this villa and recommend it to friends.

This villa was just perfect. It was so spacious and everything you could need was provided. The view was stunning, loved the pool area and the fact that it was walled and gated keeping our kiddies away from it until we were ready. The photos do not do this villa any justice. It is definately a luxury villa, bright and airy. We rented a car at the airport and the directions which came after booking this villa were so easy to follow. About an hours drive from faro airport. Chirs met us at the villa. He was most helpful, suggesting activities to do with kids and we booked these with Chris, again giving us amazing directions to all the attractions. Lagos is only a 5 min drive from the villa and plenty of fabulous beaches only minutes drive also. We would highly recommend going to Lagos zoo and Slide and Splash waterpark. A visit to the quaint little town of Alvor and a boat trip to the amazing grottos/caves a must too. You will not regret booking this villa, we certainly could not recommend it highly enough.

Casa Chrisanda is a spacious, well-equipped villa lying a short distance outside Lagos. Its on the very edge of a small development and has no overlooking neighbours.
The photos on-line dont really do the place justice and the pool looks much larger in real life. If youre cooking your own meals, youll find everything you need in the kitchen but with taxis into Lagos costing less than €10, its too easy to sack it off and dine out in one of Lagos many restaurants.
You WILL need a car but driving in Portugals a doddle. One bit of advice for you: beware of roundabouts. Nobody indicates and they only ever use the outside lane.

We were thoroughly pleased with Casa Chrisanda. There was nothing lacking. A very spacious villa providing many areas to relax inside and out. We spent a great proportion of time in the pool. Both the pool and villa were cleaned regularly. The garden had a variety of beautiful flowering plants to enjoy. Lagos, the local city was 5 mins drive and never too busy though active enough in the evenings to provide a little atmosphere. We would not hesitate to choose the same villa if/when we return to the Algarve.

Myself and some friends had a great time in Lagos. It was a great place to relax but also had plenty to do. The Villa was a perfect base with everything we needed - it was hard work dragging ourselves away from the pool most days! The fact that it was so well equiped rounded everything off nicely. Well definitely be going back.

This villa far exceeded our Families expectations, it is extremely modern, very spacious, immaculately clean and very well equiped with everything a Family could wish for, it is clear that alot of thought and consideration has gone into the attention to detail. The location is perfect, everything ,including the beach ,within a very short driving distance. My Kids loved the pool and all the play things available for them to use and were very sad to leave - We will definately be booking again and I would reccommend this to anyone in need of a relaxing home from home in the Sun -)

One of our favourite all time holidays! We have never been to a villa so well equipped. The space, privacy and tranquillity offered by Casa Chrisanda was fantastic! After visiting Lagos only a couple of years ago we decided to return this year. This villa was recommended by a friend and I can clearly see why! The accommodation is of a very high standard and the villa contains everything a family could need.
The design of the villa is well thought out and there are plenty of neat touches. The pool area is gated so our toddler could roam safely whilst we had breakfast on the terrace! The layout of the villa also means the kids bedrooms are the other side of the hallway and they have their own bathroom. This meant we could enjoy the lounge without keeping them awake.
We hired a car and would recommend other visitors do so - although we also found the taxi service is more efficient and reliable than back home! Lagos and its great beaches are less than 10 minutes drive away so we were able to sample the culture at our own leisure but also enjoy the peace and quiet of our own private pool!
We will be back!! Next time with the grandparents as this accommodation offers the perfect family holiday!

This our second visit to the villa was like the first - most enjoyable and relaxing.
The setting is superb and very private - a must for our type of holiday. The villa is more than well equipped and provided for all of our needs. We found Lagos has retained all of its old charm and culture since our first visit and is a splendid day out. The choice of restaurants is vast with a good selec tion of cuisine and of high quality.
A return visit is already being planned, probably with our grandchildren. With this in mind, I must mention the delightful pool with its secure and safe gates.

We've had a WONDERFUL time. Thank you for letting us share Casa Chrisanda, its been so relaxing.
Rebecca (8) has found most little hidey-holes in the gardens and had a superb time on the Seafari to see the dolphins (Mummy and Grandma weren't so sure - you need a strong pair of sea legs on a choppy day!!)

As soon as we arrived we felt instantly at home. The villa has all you could want in terms of facilities and equipment - right down to 'Sky' TV which enabled Jancie to keep up to date with all the soaps!!
I would say that this must count as the best holiday Janice and I have ever had with the weather being constantly in the high 30's and very sunny with clear blue skies every day.
Having to return to the UK and the usual poor weather is not a happy occasion but we need to do it to allow us a great holiday next year. We will be back!!

It was 6 years since we last visited the Algarve and the best part of 12 years since we paid Lagos a visit, how things have changed and become busy!
The villa and its location made us relax so much we found it it hard to leave day or night!
Just the 2 of us so we only used a small part of the lovely spacious villa.
Now we have to leave, we are finding it difficult to pull ourselves away but we have to go back home and back to work!! - We'll be back!!
To all who have the pleasure of visiting the villa, there is nothing better than to take a great book and spend the whole day by the pool with a portugese beer!

What a beautiful place! Everything we needed and so much more. So much thought has gone into this accomodation and the fine detail makes a great difference. This was our first holiday with a young child and all our needs were catered for. We would like to thank the 'Pye' family for your help and assistance in arranging our first 'non package' holiday including those fab directions from the airport. This villa has the personal touch - but not so much that you feel you are intruding. We look forward to our return!
