Very clean and well maintained apartment with great views of the sea. Part of a community where we were made to feel welcome from the start. The pool has a bar providing food at very reasonable prices (not open in winter). The apartment is well situated at the lower end of the large complex of miraflores close to the beach 5 min over a foot bridge opposite the apartment. 10 min walk to local bars and restaurants plus supermarket. Just over the road, to the rear is the main club house with a pool,bar, and restaurant. When we were there live entertainment was provided free a few times a week. It takes 20 min to walk to the nearest large town with bars and restaurants. Bus stops are close to apartment run every 30 min and cost about €2 to get to Fuengirola or Marbella. The only mistake we made was not to check all the channels on the tv so did not realise sky news and sports were available. Was it good value for money? Definitely! We usually spend a great deal more per week on a 2 bed apartment for our September holiday.
Did it meet our expectations? Perhaps this is the only “con” of our holiday – and this is entirely our fault for not researching what the Costa del Sol is about ... we are village country bumpkins so the busy main road was absolutely terrifying to us and the high density of buildings around and about was a bit overwhelming for us oldies. I am sure younger people and more sophisticated people than us would love it.
Was the description accurate? Absolutely
Would we recommend it to a friend? Our younger townie friends certainly.
Were we adequately looked after? If I could give a 110% for the welcome and the help Theresa and Adam gave us, I would, they are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much problem…. even as we went into drippy holiday melt down mode when we first arrived. The bottle of bubbly helped us relax beautifully! I would also like to make special mention on the quality and the cleanliness of the apartment, it was beautifully furnished and it had everything to make it home from home – no sterile holiday rental here.
Would we come back? We probably would, as we would bring our tennis racquets and play on the lovely clay tennis courts on the resort and use the bowls club. We would not bother with a hire car and just relax and chill out in the Miraflores resort which is a little oasis of calm and tranquillity

The owners are very nice and hospitable. The appartement is well equipped, very clean, you feel at once comfortable. Every morning you wake up with the seaview, it`s wonderful! The surrounding at Miraflores is very nice. The pool area is big and also well equipped. There are bars, restaurants and supermarkets in walking distance. You have here everthing for self catering and also a very good restaurant (Antonio, at the beach), I can recommend it. The nearest beach is rocky, next beaches in Cala Mijas and near the Max beach club are sandy and very nice. I can also recommend a trip to tarifa (watch whales and dolphins with firmm) and a trip to Granada (if you have hired a car). At least I will thank Theresa and her husband for the perfect time at their appartement, I hope we will come again.

The owners of the property were very helpfull. They greeted us with a bottle of bubbly which was very welcome.
The apartment was clean and well equiped. Both bedrooms were large and the beds were extreamly comfortable to sleep on.Even though there is no air conditioning, there are large fans that cool you if required.
The views were lovely from the balcony which, made breakfast time a pleasure.Overall the apartment was as discribed and well worth what we paid for it.
The bus routes are only a short walk away and easy to find, also a lovely beach is a short walk away too.
We couldnt fault the weather it was lovely. The pool and the cafe were really clean and on the door step. A lifeguard was on duty all day, so you could swim and feel safe . so no need to move if you just want to relax
As a get away from it all relaxing place to visit I would recommend this. Not so sure if it would be exactly what older children would prefer.
The only drawback for me was the busy A7 road however, you soon come to get used to this and in time do not notice .
The ownwers are very helpfull and the fact that they live a short distance away was comforting in case of emergencies.My friend left her bag on departing the apartment . The owner was on hand to contact us and return the bag safely, which was a blessing for her.
I would certainly recommend the apartment to others.

Excellent property good location drawback is the noise from the A7
Some nice eatries within walking distance. Would not recomend the Milofores the service and the food are not up to expectations. The pool and bar are excellent for just chilling out. Adam and Threse make you most welcome would highly recomend

From the moment we were met at the door of the apartment we knew we had made the right choice. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of bubbly & showed us around their beautiful apartment. Everything was very clean & fresh & really well furnished. If this was our place we would not want to rent it out. Miraflores is a lovely complex with beautiful gardens all kept immaculate that lead down to the great swimming pool area with a really nice cafe managed by very friendly girls. Try the seafood salad & ask about the taxi service to the airport. Getting out & about without a car is no problem. Plenty of restaurants & supermarkets in 7 mins walk. Bus stop just round the corner takes you to Fuengirola one way & as far as Marbella the other direction. We spent 3 weeks at Miraflores & took trips to Granada & Nerjas from Miraflores reception just at the end of the road. The staff here are ultra friendly & helpful. Catch a bus from Fuengirola Bus Stn to Mijas & have a wonderful day wandering round this scenic town. Book a trip to Gibraltar or Ronda at the kiosk at Fuengirola bus Stn & they will pick you up & dro p you back at the bus stop at Miraflores after your trip. There is so much to see & do here you will be spoilt for choice. Also try not to miss La Cala market. The bus stops in La Cala or you can easily walk there. Plenty of good restaurants in this little town as well. Also a great beach. When we come back to this area we will definitely be booking this apartment again. It is a real home from home, & the owners really friendly & helpful. All in all highly recommended.

The apartment was fantastic, it was exactly as described although I was pleasantly surprised as to how clean and well furnished it was with a nice kitchen, comfortable furniture and an attractive bathroom. The balcony is larger than I expected and was perfect for having meals or even just playing cards and having a few nightcaps!
The owners were welcoming and provided us with the best service I have yet to receive when renting an apartment. I have been to the Costa Del Sol many times and have never returned to the same place however I would definitely return to this apartment the next time I stay in the region. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all within easy reach a car is not a necessity. The best restaurant within walking distance was the El Oceano hotel (although slightly expensive) but there are plenty of others to choose from. A short cab ride to Puerto Cabopino will offer you Da Brunos (a very good Italian) or harbour-side dining in very good restaurants...namely La Despensa (another good Italian).The pool area by the apartment is exceptionally well kept, the sun loungers work on a card system so you are never left without one, there is also a good poolside bar and restaurant serving fresh salads and other snacks. I couldnt have wished for a better apartment or nicer people to rent one from. I would definitely reccomend to anyone I know looking to stay in the area."

Spacious and comfortable accommodation, well equipped kitchen and superb sea views.
We received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the owners - all our questions answered.
We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. We just wished we could have stayed longer!

this is the second time i have been to mija and stayed at theresa and adams appatment and as always we had a fantastic time
the buses are great so i dont think a car is needed at all and we have young children
there are shops banks and resturants within walking distance and a beach very close by
we will be back and thanks theresa and adam for making us so welcome

An excellent apartment,well presented with modern kitchen appliances,spacious living room leading onto large open balcony with terrific views of the M ed.Two good sized bedrooms one with king sized bed and lovely tiled bathroom.Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends/family with good value for money with the added bonus of the owners just a phone call away and living close at hand if required.Top marks all round!

The property is immaculately presented. It is clean and tidy and modern. The kitavhen and bathroom look brand new. The rest of the apartment is in excellent decorative order.
The owners are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The apartment has excellent views over the beautiful gardens and of the sea. It is in a beautiful setting. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. There are a couple that are just past the supermarket, on the main road, go over the tunnel and stay on the right hand side. The location of these is not great but the food is! Also max bar is lovely.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone, excpet people who suffer with mobility difficulties as there are a lot of steps to the gorgeous pool. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have stayed on phase one of Miraflores before and knew what to expect with the lay out/size of the appartment. What we didnt expect was to be greeted by two very lovely people offering us a glass of champagne on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The appartment was nicely decorated and clean. There was also new moden kitchen with everything you need.
I would definatly recommend our friends/family to stay here if looking for a place to stay on Miraflores and I would definatly stay here again myself.

Well what can I say ! My partner and I have just retured from our first double holiday - a week in Majorca and a week in Mira Flores. Having paid almost double the amount for our Majorcan adventure we presumed that our first week would be a classy get away and our second could be lacking - how wrong we were !!
This apartment is a real a find and well definately be returning next year. Located about 30-45 mins from the airport, the apartment is easily reached by either taxi, bus or the surprisingly hassle free route of hiring a car (we paid £107 in August for a week!). Its location right on Mijas Costa meant that the view from the apartment is literally breathtaking. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners (a friendly, helpful couple) whod cleaned the apartment to the highest standard wed seen in a long time (they used to run a professional cleaning service, so take four hours before every new guest arrives cleaning it to within an inch of its life!). Consisting of a double bedroom, a kitchen (with washing machine - a real find), a bathroom (with shower) a spacious lounge with balcony and a twin room this could easily suit a family of four - or two couples. We found that the apartment has recently been renovated and the quality really shows - its much more like a classy flat than holiday digs. Its a one minute walk to the club house (check out the Neil Diamond impersonator!) and a 3-5 minute walk to the supermarket. There are some great restaurants around too - check out Maxbeach (5 mins walk away) for a VERY classy and reasonable dining experience on the beach - or a moonlit meal in Antonios also v close (easily the friendliest waiters in Spain). The apartment is close to great sites such as Mijas, Marbella and Porto Banus, which we got to see this time and Rhonda, Fuengirola and Gibraltor which well definately see next time ! The owners really give you a sense that nothing is too much trouble and helped us out whenever we needed them. They live two streets away which would explain why they were there almost as soon as wed spoken to them. They even left us a bottle of bubbly and water to welcome us - its those thoughtful little touches which really make the holiday special. The pool is great and theres a great sandy beach up the road at Cala and another whos name escapes me - ask the owners theyll point you in the right direction !! We have recommended this to several friends and in the words of Arnie - Ill be back !!

A lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and well furnished with a well fitted kitchen and bathroom. This apartment is like a home from home. The balcony has wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea. Having the owners just a phone call away in an emergency is very helpful.
Definitely well worth a stay if visiting this part of Spain. We would go back.

We looked at many properties on the website. We were really pleased with this place for a host of reasons:
The apartment was spotless clean, modern and everything worked well, not just adequately. It was like coming home each day and didnt feel temporary. We forgot towels! But not a worry as these were available.
In addition to this, if you are on a budget, there really is no need for car hire, everything is either within walking distance or a short, cheap bus ride (Marella, Fuegirola, Mijas). But if you want a car, then its a 50m walk to the helpful reception. We hired a car for a few days to go to Seville, Cordoba and Granada. It was great coming back to a great apartment.
We wanted a pool and easy access to the sea. Both are here. In fact there is a choice of pools, all are clean modern and well looked after.
To top all this, the view from the balcony is superb, with a clear, wide view of the sea. None of the facilities were over populated (pools, restaurants etc).
Any drawbacks? Almost none. We will seriously consider going back. Theres no DVD player, but this is compensated by 2-3 movie chanels on the satelite TV. There is some noise from the coast road which is out of sight. but it really is not an issue, just worth a mention if youre expecting to be deafened by silence! Any property along the coast, near the sea (within 1km) will have this.
Overall, it was a great choice.
