We were absolutely delighted with the house. It ticked all the boxes - suited all ages - acommodation excellent bedrooms very comfortable - plenty of bathrooms - kitchen very well equipped - outside space and gardens were an absolute joy - grandchildren torn between the hammocks in the garden and the river at the bottom of the garden - wd highly recommend it for a holiday fo all ages.

Our group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. The house was perfect. Everything about it was quality and comfort. The location is excellent and close to all the major tourist attractions in Tipperary and Cork as well as Killkenny.
Located in a friendly village with all necessities close at hand.
Don’t miss the chance to stay at the Old Parochial House
We highly recommend it and hope to visit again.

Beautiful old house set in the countryside near a little village. Arrived on a freezing, icy night to find the heating on and a welcome pack of goodies. Immaculately kept - clean and well resourced. We were a group of 8 (4 couples) travelling together and the house was spacious to accommodate us all comfortably. We self-catered and there is a huge, modern kitchen to work in. All-in-all excellent value with the cost spread between the 8 of us. Would like to go back at a warmer time so we could get out and explore more of Ireland.

The Old Parochial House is an amazing property with plenty of space for large parties. The traditional features (open fires and antique furniture) make the house a charming place to stay.
The grounds and position of the house was an ideal location for us to take our pet dog, with plenty of nearby walks across beautiful Irish countryside.

Absoultely superb!
This is a huge house that has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The house has in the region of 20 immaculately clean rooms including 5 large bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is vast with all the necessary appliances etc. The garden is large with a good-sized private courtyard and a river!
The description and photos are 100% accurate - if anything, the owers have understated the very high standard of the accommodation provided.
The location of the house is good. It is about 20 minutes or so away from Kilkenny. It is also about 30 minutes away from the newly opened section of the Dublin to Cork motorway (Cashel to Mitchelstown). Once the full motorway is finished (2010) it really will be in a prime location.
The very quiet and pleasant local village has a good shop, three pubs and a small hurling stadium.
We thoroughly recommend this house and would certainly stay again - if it is not now fully booked!
