We had a great week! Everything from the flights, transfer, accommodation and of course the skiing couldnt be faulted. Your apartment suited our needs perfectly - we found the location and the view superb - it was lovely sitting on the balcony for the last few rays of sun after a day on the slopes. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped ... Thank you for your efficient service - we would certainly recommend to others.

I cannot rate this property highly enough. Fantastic in every respect.
As has previously been stated, its located at the quieter end of town, but only minutes walk to everything you could need (supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc). There are some lovely places to eat and drink at that end of town and you tend to find yourself further away from the noisier bars and clubs. Even if this is your thing, they are only a 5-10 minute walk away.
The resort has some fantastic eateries and boasts the best restaurant Ive ever eaten at (Igloo Gormond, at the other end of the resort, highly recommended).
Ski hire is close by and there are numerous places to choose from.
The owner was also very helpful in providing information and ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
Without a doubt the highlight of the apartment is the location. It is yards from a ski on-ski off lift and right next to the lift station is a bus stop where the free bus dro ps throughout the resort. Despite what other reviews have said, I do not think a car is essential. Public transport is excellent.
I was there late in the season (beginning of April) and the high altitude meant we had snow every night. Conditions were wonderful.
Im going again in December this year and will certainly be visiting again in 2011.

Great setting with easy access to and from the slopes. Comfortable apartment with every facility we needed. Probably one of the BEST situated apartments in the resort and view is to die for!

I couldnt fault this property at all. The owners and the agent were very helpful and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. The apartment was everything we could have asked for and more. Very clean, modern, and literally a few hundred metres from the ski lift, restaurants, and shops. A ten minute walk to the main centre of the town but nothing we couldnt cope with as you can easily store skis etc near the main ski lift. The views where absolutely amazing from the apartment, I was so overwhelmed when I saw them from the balcony, the pictures just dont do it justice. Overall this apartment is worth its weight in gold, I will most certainly be recommending it to friends and family and you can bet Ill be back next year. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in Les Deux Alpes.

A very comfortable apartment with an absolutely stunning outlook. Situated at the far end of Les Deux Alpes in the quieter part of the village. Well equipped though a little short of cooking items. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The owners representatives in Les Deux Alpes were very helpful indeed. We found that there was everything we needed in the village.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your review, I agree with you about the view, never get bored of it! As you were the first 2-week guests to stay I am really interested in your comments about cooking items, and have emailed you for more detail so this can be improved out of season. Thanks again!
Further comment: as a result of feedback, many new kitchen items purchased for 2010

Quiet location but all the services (restaurants, supermarket) around. But car necessary, especially in the summer if you want to do snow because the mainlift Jandri is not close. Apartment small but enough for 2-3 people, kitchen well equipped and everything worked well, also enough hot water. Only "bad" thing was the tv that doesnt have antenna so you couldnt see tv channels. But dvd and cd player were quite nice things.
Owner reply:
I am glad that you were happy with the apartment. I would say however that I have never needed a car - in winter there is direct access to the slopes from the Diable lift and in summer the free bus picks up and drops off outside Diable to get to the Jandri gondola and the glacier.
The TV is advertised as being British and therefore will not show channels, as you say it is designed to be used with the DVD player.
Many thanks!

We were a little disappointed when we first arrived - there was a strong smell in the apartment, and even with ventilation and cleaning, the smell did not go for 4 days! There seemed to be a problem with drainage as there was often water outside the front door. After cleaning the apartment ourselves, this did improve a little. The apartment was also quite dirty - the floor wasnt cleaned and there were bits of rubbish shoved under the beds.
There are plenty of things there to use - t.v., dvd, cd player, which are all useful! The shower is nice and hot so thats a bonus after a days skiing!
The best thing about the apartment is its location. The views of the mountains from the balcony are stunning, its in a quiet enough area but literally only 5 minutes walk from the resort centre and all the bars/restaurants that you would want. It is also only a couple of minutes walk to the ski lift, which is fab when your legs are sore!
The owner was extremely helpful prior to our arrival, told us everything we needed to know and gave us some great tips on ski hire, travelling from airport etc. By the way, it is definitly best to use the transisiere local buses - itl save you a packet and is very easy to work out.
I would stay there again, but would be better minus the smell!
Had an amazing holiday - les deux alpes is brilliant!!!
Owner reply:
The rubbish and cleanliness is obviously not acceptable and I have taken this up with my local rep - thanks for letting me know, feedback is essential when running an apartment from the UK!
The "smell" is more difficult. This has been an occasional problem in the building as a whole since the refurbishment and we have been told by the developers that it relates to the new drains. It seems to have improved and my local rep is keeping an eye on the situation.
Glad you enjoyed the holiday, I have to agree about the views and the location, I lose many hours sitting on the balcony myself!
Many thanks,

This property is a superb ski in, ski out apartment. Literally less than 100ms from a ski lift and you can ski back to the door.
The apartment is in a very quiet part of the town - so you can get good sleep, but is within minutes (walking) of some great bars and restaurants. There is ample parking at the apartment block.
It is on the third floor and there are no lifts (use the back stairs not the main stairs), but the view is great and the balcony is south facing, so worth the climb.
The apartment is brand new, as are all the fittings including big TV and DVD player. Nice.
Les Deux Alpes is a lively resort with a good ski area.
Well worth the visit
Owner reply:
Wow! This is a 100% genuine review from the first ever customer at the apartment. Enough said!
Many thanks!

"The mountain views from the balcony make it difficult to get out in the morning! Good location next to the lifts and at the quiet end of the resort. Considering a summer break now."
